I used this brush for applying very thick epoxy on some very tiny parts and it worked flawlessly. I was able to mix the epoxy components thoroughly and this fine brush didn't shed a single bristle. It allowed me to place tiny spots of epoxy on very small points for a permanent bond on delicate, tiny components. Highly recommend!

Review of Darice Quilling Board and Tool, 2-Piece Set

I've been quilling ever since my Grandmother taught me 30 years ago. Back then, I used a draftsman's "circle" template that my uncle glued to a cardboard backing. It worked great for a long time...only requiring occasional replacement of the cardboard.

It wasn't until a few years ago I realized the fancy "quilling boards" were no longer "too expensive" for this cheap crafter. I bought one of these boards...and the quill tool...and think it's a fantastic way to start quilling. Glue doesn't stick easily to the foam stuff...so I've dispensed with using waxed paper to back the rear of the board for assembly. And, it doesn't warp like my cork board from "other quilling board store" has. And the flared base on the tool makes the kit completely worth it. I learned rolling my paper on round toothpicks. The quilling tool is HIGH TECH baby! And the flared base is nice for paper flower making.

NO. It's not really a three piece set...unless you count the bi-lingual instructions included as a "piece." What it is...is an inexpensive quilling board. I recently bought four more of them for a class I'm teaching...and don't have to feel bad if one of my new student's kills one. Highly recommended.

This little kit is a good start for learning the art of Paper Quilling. The gauge helps keeps uniformity in the size of the quills you make. The quilling instrument is easy to use. Good product for a small investment.

I wasn't very impressed w/the board. The material that you put the pins in to hold the piece doesn't seem like it will last after several uses. The culring tool came in handy though. I am not sure what the 3rd tool was though since I only got the board & curling tool.

This board is completely useless. The indentions where you are supposed to place your coiled paper strips are so shallow that they cannot prevent the coils from unraveling.

I purchased this board to make my quilled pieces more uniform in size, and that's what it does. I'm glad I bought it have had no issues so far, LOVE that I can stick my pins in the board, and dont' have to use another board for this. The little tool was unexpected (guess I didn't read the description when I purchased) but is awesome quality -and I didn't realize I'd need a third tool, but apparently I do as my son has now taken to quilling with my daughter and I.

I own a large variety of brushes ranging from Kolinsky sables for oils and watercolors, the Bob Ross Collection, the Terry Harrison Collection, and many others. I have been searching for an oil/acrylic brush set with a medium stiffness for control, but soft enough for beautiful detail without lines and scratchiness. I first tried the Royal Majestic line in watercolor brushes when they were handmade to order. I still use those brushes on a regular basis. They have never lost their shape. They do not shed nor fray, and have excellently made ferrules and handles. These have turned out to be just as great as the watercolor brushes. I am delightfully pleased. The price is excellent as well! Where else can you find a long handled brush, sizes 4 24 for under $35. This is a pack of seven a great range of sizes. They fit everything that I needed. I was not disappointed at all. I was totally impressed! By the way, to keep them looking nice when using acrylics and oils, clean then with Murphy's wood oil soap and water then dry them with TLC.

I originally intended this set for my 4-year old daughter. When her older siblings saw how much fun and how easy it was to use they jumped aboard and use it weekly. It's held up well between multiple uses and washes.

Thes sculpting/modelling tools are good, comfortable tools. They're inexpensive and provide a variety of functions. The only problem I have with them is the molding line. When I used the for FIMO, the same brand as the tools, trace amounts of clay would get stuck underneath the molding lines. This problem, however, is easily fixable by shaving it off with a knife.

I purchased this as an art table for my 10 year old daughter. Looks better than pictured; more like a nice piece of furniture. Pencil ledge prevents pencils and erasers from rolling off. My daughter uses the included stool although, if she decided she'd rather use a kitchen chair, the table would go low enough to accommodate her height. Tilting the table is easier if there are two people available because the shaft of the knob catches on the metal slide; I really need two hands, one to hold the knob and the other to advance along the grooves in the metal slide. There are always at least two of us around to help when the tilt needs to be changed, so this hasn't been a big problem.

Overall my daughter is very pleased with her art table.

These medium handled brights are the perfect size for field work, and fit nicely inside the guerilla painters storage box! When I received them, one ferrule was squashed, easily fixed with pliers though, however all the ferrules were loose, and need re-glueing.Otherwise the bristles are good, and stand up to mixing out in the elements.

I have a large project I am working on with turned under hems and needed to find a quicker way to turn them under and an easier way to hold the hem in place until it was stitched. This tool did the trick! They slide on the fabric easily and hold the hem in place nicely. It made my hemming job so much quicker. Using just plain strait pins was time conuming and I kept stabbing myself with the pins. This goes so much quicker. The order came quickly and this product has save me so much time!! I highly recommend it!

Bought this stamping set at my local Michaels for 50% off ($34.99CAD without a coupon). Wanted to give metal stamping a try and this was the only brand available for in-store purchase. The set works, but I was surprised that for such a hefty price tag, it was made in China.

Opened the packaging to find that although the metal stamps were greased, there were still a couple of rusted letters and some random foliage (old leafs?) as a bonus.

Satisfactory for a beginner.

As I have written elsewhere... Since I bought the size 6, I have put together a set of these brushes (2, 4, 6, 10 & 20) that I use to apply a cobalt/gerstley borate mix (Floyd blue stain) and mason stain/gerstley borate mixes on bisqued porcelain: They're almost perfectly suited to it! They hold quite a lot of material. The point is superb. Flow is superb. Action is excellent. With them I can create beautiful and *long* sharp lines (depending upon technique, of course; they are also well suited to creating a beautiful mess if that's what you're going for!) Worth every penny! (especially at these prices)

Got this right here on Amazon, so I could rescue a pair of old comfy slippers that are falling apart. I first used waxed thread when sewing those leather steering wheel cover kits. And have looked forward to any and all sewing requiring a heavy duty, strong thread to hold something together. I have resewn my slippers, and they are now better than new.....I should get at least another 15-20 years out of them, and it will be thanks to this high quality, easy to work with waxed thread and needle set. I plan to order another set very soon so I have some on hand for "heavy duty sewing emergencies"....and a set for my Bug Out Bag....this is great for any project or for repair to my BOB bags. I like the product itself, they're quality but I regret not getting the Large Set. Most small ellipses can be done by hand much more efficiently than using the template.

I just recently started using heat embossing powders for my cards, and figured a good way to go would be to purchase a couple of "sampler" of small amounts of different colors. This was one of the samplers I purchased.

VERY happy with this! You get two bottles of each color: one is "plain"; the other has some sparkle to it. I've been using these on my spring and summer cards. The hot pink, especially, is lovely, and works great with the yellow and green.

The quality is good, too. It's a nice fine-grained powder that adheres well to the Versamark ink I use (Tsukineko Full-Size VersaMark Pigment Inkpad, Clear). I've been using these small spoons to help place the powder when I use mulitple colors on the same stamped image Petite Mini Tasting Spoons 50 Per Pack.

A little powder goes a long way, so these will last quite a long time. Good product!
