I purchased this to paint black satin bridesmaid sashes with acrylics mainly to prevent the cracking of using straight acrylic paints. Washability was not tested.

My stores didn't carry this product (Walmart nor Michaels), so for those who would like to know the back of the bottle reads:

Waterbased. Shake well. Mix 1 part medium to 2 parts paint. Clean up while wet with soap and water. Prewash fabric before painting to remove sizing. After painting, air-dry 24 hrs, then heat set before washing. Care: wash inside out with cool water. Bottle instructions are to mix 1 part fabric medium to 2 parts paint.

Pro:

-works with ANY brand of acrylic paints, doesn't have to be Martha Stewart (a big plus as I already had a huge paint collection I used it with Americana, Anita's & Apple Barrel).

-easy cleanup, soap & water or when dry it peels off skin like dry Elmer's Glue.

-fabric can flex/be bent without cracking the painting.

-mixes well with paints, no pigment separation issues.

Con:

-seems to make the paint "soak" into the fabric; it took me a couple coats to get the "true" color to show (but this may depend on what type of fabric you're painting)

-bottle isn't pour friendly; I painted in small color amounts & often only needed one or two drops of the medium. If the bottle is not tilted straight upside down, the drop runs down the top and will fall from somewhere on the side of the bottle. If bottle is tilted straight upside down, often 3-4 drops come out at a time. Not a major problem as I didn't need to be precise & just poured holding a paper towel on the side to wipe it down to prevent buildup, but worth mentioning since everyone likes things that are easy to use (hi to product development).

I ordered this to mix with a Glidden paint to make fabric paint. I used it on a sofa and it went on super smooth. I had also ordered the Folk Art Medium Textile and used it as well. The Martha Stewart went on much smoother and there weren't as many roller marks. It seemed to take to the fabric faster I thought overall that it was a superior product so I ordered two more to complete the job.

I was extremely pleased with this product, I used it to paint an upholstered chair by mixing the fabric medium with latex paint and water. Three coats later and I have a brand new chair!

Kinda have to practice and get use to get no readable knobs you just have to feel your way threw it wish it had readable setting instead of guessing your way threw before I apply my make up I fill it with some water spray it at my hand while turning the knob so I can know more or less whats going to spray out.. they really should consider redoing this feature.

I've enjoyed this Spellbinder box die for about a year now. I've made favor boxes for wedding & baby showers, a Valentine's party, and for little "Thank You" boxes. This is my first time with a conte crayon and I really like them. I like the size but the colors are the most important part of the product. There is a nice variety of colors and all of them look good on art paper. I have just done some experimenting with them on canvas (Art Alternatives Canvas Panel which are primed with an acrylic gesso. I got them from Amazon) but I like the results.

I purchased these Acrylic paints for my 23 year old for Christmas and we were very disappointed in the quality of the paint. They are more like the water color paints that you have your little kids paint with. Very watery, and very grainy (if that's a word). :) I don't recommend these to anyone if your serious about painting...these are more on an elementary level.

I am very delighted with my purchase of this Paint set. The paint is more of a school grade acrylic then a fine artist acrylic which is OK since that's what i expected it to be. It tends to be less thick then fine quality acrylic or tube acrylic as most of us know them to be. I purchased this Christmas Bells runner along with the Christmas Bells napkins because they sounded like a set. The runner Does NOT have bells on it. The package says it is Christmas bells but when you open it, holly is what you have. The napkins are not cross stitch while the runner is cross stitch. They do not go together.

Ok, so I know that many people will be buying these paints for their kids. I'm sure the kids will have lots of fun with these, because they are really vivid, but that's not how I used them. My partner and I hung a blacklight bulb over our hotel room jacuzzi and painted eachother (and everything around us). Even though these aren't body paints, they showed up vividly on our skin. Additionally, even though we both have sensitive skin, neither of us had adverse reactions to the paint, despite leaving it on all night.

You may have also noticed that I said blacklight bulb. We didn't even have to use a real blacklight, just a bulb Sunlite SL20/BLB 20 Watt Spiral Energy Saving CFL Light Bulb Medium Base Blacklight Blue (also from Amazon) plugged into the hotel room lamp. I've heard mixed reviews about the bulbs, and supposedly they aren't as strong, but this paint showed up great anyway.

Another great bonus was that it washed out of literally everything. I was wearing white fishnets and white lingerie the whole time and it got all over, but a quick handwashing with some bleach and stain remover got it out in a snap, even several days later. The preliminary cleanup of the hotel jacuzzi and surrounding walls the next morning was quick and easy as well. And yes, we left the maid a big tip.

This is great paint and easy to clean! I had kids finger paint pictures for my daughters glow party and we hung them on the wall until it got dark and we turned on the black light so they could see them come to life. They were so excited.

I decided to build a small disco for my kids last winter. Every Saturday night they have friends come over and this added a whole new dimention to our family fun times. Here is a list of what I bought from Amazon. All of this is still in perfect working order after almost a year of use. The moror is soundless and spins at the perfect speed. The strobes work well and will cause the required "where am I" feeling if left on too long. The Black light is strong enough to make anything 20 feet away glow brightly. Our living room is 20x 20 and with the lights out, the room is lighted perfectly.

I took a 10 ten foot long 1x8 board from home depot and placed the motor and mirror ball in the center. I placed the spot lights approximatle 2 feet to each side, with tthe color gel caps. The mini strobes are placed about 1 foot behind those. I put the Black light on the wall and ran all the cords to the wall mounted Power switcher so we can controll all of these with a flip of a switch. Mounted this boad accross my rafters with hole drilled into board so the cords could pass through and be hidden. I am not a DJ nor do I know what is better or best. I can tell you that we are happy with all these items and when kids come over they squeel with delight. Cant ask for more at this price.

I have purchased other sets of brushes with only 4 brushes to the set and the bristles broke down much sooner that I expected;

I use my brushes for my model rairoad needs and these work great with water base and oil base paints. It is a very good set of brushes for what I need them for.

I'm not an experienced painter, these are my first foray into quality brushes. The brushes themselves seem to work quite well, this is compared to the very cheap brushes I've been using. I have noticed that the black paint on the ferrel is wearing off from rigorous cleaning, they seem to require a gentler approach then I've given them. Overall I believe a nice set for the price and I imagine they will last a long time.
