These are beautiful cling type stamps.

The stamps are detailed nicely I get a crisp, clean image when stamping. Currently I use them as wreath images, then stamp some florals around it, also as topiaries and then hand paint the stem in between the round stamped images to tie them together. The larger ones have a big enough space inside to place a small greeting, too.

They stick to my acrylic blocks very well. Easy to clean. I just use baby wipes on them, they dry fast, and I replace them onto the clear plastic sheet it arrived on.

I was somewhat disappointed with this item. I purchased two packs one in each size range. The packaging appeared a bit old

and some of the lettering was worn off. The hooks themselves were quite difficult to remove from the plastic sleeve, having stuck to the plastic. When I removed them parts of the size markings remained on the plastic. Some of the hooks themselves were quite rough around the hook area and did not appear to have been smoothed off. I needed to use the size 4mm hook for a project that I was working but after only 3 days use it snapped in the middle!. I am a very prolific crafter and have other plastic/Acrylic hooks that I have had for several years and have had no trouble with them.

You should be careful with these. They are kinda delicate. I tend to crochet a little too tight and the size G one broke in the middle of my first project. I got those gel protectors for the other ones and it was a bit better. I bought these planning to take them in my next vacation trip.

This is my first time with a conte crayon and I really like them. I like the size but the colors are the most important part of the product. There is a nice variety of colors and all of them look good on art paper. I have just done some experimenting with them on canvas (Art Alternatives Canvas Panel which are primed with an acrylic gesso. I got them from Amazon) but I like the results.

I have used this brand in water color pencils for years, and love them. So, I was shocked at how BAD the fine line black pens are. Not a good rich black. More like a cheap Sharpie, with a red cast to it. The tips are not very good either. You don't get a good even flow. Gave these to my husband to use in his wood shop.

I had initially purchased the Sakura Microns per advice I was given by card makers whom claim it works great to fill in missing lines from rubber stamps and would be waterproof. Unfortunately, the Microns did not live up to its waterproof claim. These Prismacolors claim to be "water-resistant" and held up much better. There was minute bit of bleeding, but nowhere near the amount the "waterproof" Microns. I am very happy with this product.

The quill is very nice and pretty. My daughter had been wanting a set since 3rd grade. We waited until 6th grade. Still too young, she spilled the ink within 30 minutes of opening it! Our fault for not monitoring. Advice: nice set if you are looking for one, ink is permanent so be warned!

I purchased this for a friend's birthday. It is a very good quality quill and the ink is nice as well. However, on the reverse side of the packaging, it shows a box price of around $16.00 USD. This is nearly half of the price on Amazon, and nearly 1/5 the price some of the Used & New listings on here. Be aware of the price discrepancy and either bite the bullet for convenience sake, (which is one hell of a convenience, don't get me wrong) or embark on a quest to find this same set for cheaper.

I love this set and have used it quite a bit the ink is just the right thickness to flow smootly evenly and if you like the feel of writing with a quill pen on cotton paper you will love this the only issue is the price you can get this pen and quill set for a 1/4 of the price listed here at another retailer and yes this is retail price too. I bought mine for 18.00 yes the same exact thing and was shocked to see the cost here. Everything is the same pen ink packaging and vendor. Pays to shop around. The retailer I purchased it from a store in the town square in Williamsburg. I checked the store online and they list it for the price I purchased it for. Its a great gift for some one like me who loves calligraphy and who just loves to write on quality paper with a quality pen and ink. It was a little treat to myself. I did not open it for months until I got much better at calligraphy. You will enjoy it and I dont recommend it for kids it is an adult gift unless the child is extremely careful and its not done near carpeting on on a bed any material that can stain. I also purchased real quill pens the original and used the dipping ink and wrote on cotton paper it gives you a feel for what our ancestors wrote with and brings you a little closer to our American heritage was so happy that I bought it and when I return to Williamsbug I am going to purchase a few more the ink is indigo I believe but looks son beatiful on the paper its lighter on paper than it looks in the bottle. great gift for a soon to be lawyer, artist, historian, teacher, writer, and good for even some one who has never tried calligraphy or writing you will open up a whole new world to anyone who has not tried it.

I am a serious penman, and do a great deal of calligraphy for weddings, special occasions, and other important events. I have a number of rather expensive calligraphy pens but none of them lend themselves to a rapid, smooth style. The problem is the ink flow. The little Sheaffer pens have a nice, steady and consistent ink flow and allow the calligrapher to produce nice flourishes and lettering without hesitation. If you "draw" your lettering, then the expensive pens are worth it. If you work for pay, then go with the Sheaffer...!!

I'd like to knock this down to 3 stars. The lines become inconsistent (i.e, rather thin) on certain pages of my Moleskine notebook. In contrast, my Lamy Safari pen is perfectly consistent.

So I'd get both the Sheaffers with its variety of nibs, for calligraphy practice, and the more expensive Lamy Safari (1.1-mm nib) for writing for pleasure.

I got my set for $10 at Hobby Lobby if you're interested in this product. It was a great balance of what I wanted in a fountain pen three different thicknesses (although I prefer the finest one) and four colors. It took me a minute to figure out the ink cartridges (one is not in the pen when you get it), but once assembled it writes smoothly and easily. I'm not a serious calligrapher or anything, I just wanted a nice pen for formal, personal letters and this product fits nicely for me.

The design of this is different than the old Kenner Spirographs of the past. There is a frame and four disc with different shapes the disc goes next to the paper and the frame holds it in place. I don't care for most of the pages in the book perhaps some small children might find them entertaining, but mostly they waste the paper give me a book the same size as the frame with plane white paper and let me roll with it. We had an art notebook that I tried it with and that actually worked better . The left edge of the frame has groves that fit quite nicely into the wire bond notebooks wires. This helps hold the fame still and made for some great spirals. I was not able to change the disc without the spiral loosing center and the second disc not lining up quite right.

The different shapes in the disc to make some pretty cool spirals but it could be better. I've also found that pens that are fatter near the tip won't work well but the Prismacolor fine tip pens work wonderfully.

First i'd probably point out that these are not traditional Chinese brushes, though they look like they are. These are much more resilient than a traditional Chinese natural hair brush. They snap back to their original shape, more like an American round watercolor brush, only even more resilient, but still very soft. The point is excellent for drawing a lively line. You get very nice thin and thick according to pressure. Perfect for a sketch book with light washes, and great for travel. I have clear water in one and ink or watercolor in the other so that i can draw and wash.

Another important thing that might be obvious: To load the brush, screw the plunger all the way down toward the brush. immerse in ink or water color deep enough to cover the the brush, and retract screw plunger. it will vacuum your medium into the container, much like a classic ink pen with a plunger well.

The only thing i don't know is how long one could go without use. Drying with ink would, obviously, be detrimental to the brush. The cap seems to fit tightly, but it is not a watertight seal, so i can't comment on that, but i'm wondering about it. i've only been using them a short time.

This fountain pen-like product is excellent for traveling with a small sketch book such as the plain page Moleskine. You should know that a lot of DaVinci sketches you see printed were really quite small. You can make a quick sketch lightly outlining with dry Derwent Burnt Sienna, raw Sienna, and Umber pencils from your pocket. Then shade your sketch-or erase and blot --with the water in the waterbrush to give a DaVinci-like shaded picture, max 3-4 values. The point of the brush is surprisingly fine. If you want to get a little fancier, after the sketch has dried, also carry a white Caran D'Ach crayon to emphasize the high lights--bridge of the nose, cheek bones, edge of the ear, etc. No need to carry a whole art box, and very little time to hold up a partner or tour party. I find my quicker sketches are the best. With the waterbrush I can also pay attention to folds of clothing. If you prefer pure black and white, carry an ordinary fountain pen with black ink, outline, let it dry (depending on the effect you want), then shade with the waterbrush. Like the end result? Photo it, blow it up, mat and frame.

This pen works well. Simple to fill with a simple mechanism. The cap however does not seal the pen thoroughly. It seals it only adequately. As a consequence, the tip can dry out within a day. not dry out solid mind you but enough where you spend a lot of time getting the ink to flow. I figured i would just use a brush and ink from now on. This pen is handy if you don't have a brush?

These brush pens are great, I love having a real brush & ink in my pocket at all times. The caps to these pens dont seal quite the way I'd like (theres no stopping point, you can push the cap down until the brush hits the top of the cap), but I have yet to have a problem with it.

This is a really nice fabric marking set, it comes with re-fills in different colors for any color cloth. The problem is that the leads of the pencil are really flimsy. I pretty much broke a full one because every time I went to mark a piece of fabric a little tiny bit would break off of the lead. Maybe I just got an old one or something.

Great marking set for transfer of pattern elements. I have used it with a great deal of satisfaction. Marks are more precise than with regular chalk. The eraser does its job well. Chalk "lead" is, of course, thin and it breaks easily. But, once you have the pressure use down pat, all is great.
