I've tried a variety of double-pointed needles, most of which I didn't really like that much. These are among my all-time favorites. They are easy to hold onto and manipulate, and they have the perfect point--sharp enough to easily pick up stitches with but not so sharp that you feel you're stabbing yourself when you have to push on the tip with a finger. They are laminated, so the surface is smooth, and the yarn glides across them, which is a benefit unless you're using a slick, silky yarn like rayon or silk in which case you might need a needle made of something with a bit more grab.
One of the reasons I wanted to try square needles is that they're said to give you much more uniform stitches. I found that to be true. They are also easy to use without tightly grasping the needles--also true. This means that you can relax a little more when you're knitting. I've read various reviews on square needles arguing that you need to go up a size or down a size to get the right gauge with them. I haven't done a scientific test yet, but my first impression is that my gauge is about right. I think your gauge will depend on whether you relax and hold the needles loosely, which you can with these needles, or knit the usual way.
As if all of this were not enough, these are really beautiful needles. The wood is gorgeous and enjoyable to look at, and the needles feel light without being too lightweight and flimsy. I love the feel of the wood, too. For me, these needles are just about perfect. The only complaint I have is that the markings indicating needle size are so faint that they will soon be gone, and then I'm not sure how I'll size them if they get separated from their packaging. As far as I know, no one has yet come up with a needle sizer for square needles. I would suggest either taking great care to make sure they get back into their packaging each time or finding a more durable way to mark the sizes on them. Other than that, I love these needles and will be buying lots more.

These Createx paints are a great and relatively inexpensive way to go if you're in the market for some high-quality airbrush paints. I have tried the transparent, opaque, and metal flake varieties and have been impressed by each. I keep looking for SOMETHING to make me think I should be spending more money for "higher grade" paints, but these have met or exceeded my expectations after years of painting with various brands and types of paints.

This paint seems good. But aside from the black and white paint, the other four colors are TRANSPARENT. I didn't even know transparent paint was a thing. I suppose transparent paint is for artistic uses. Be sure you want transparent paint before you order this. It takes a heck of a lot of coats to get any sort of saturation.Best Deals for Createx Colors 2-Ounce AB Primary Set Airbrush

I love Le Pen. The slim profile is fantastic for long sessions of taking notes. I also love that they never bleed through my moleskin pages. And with multiple colors, I can highlight the most important insights and the things I want to remember. The only downside to Le Pen is that the felt nibs will wear down with pressure so they just don't last as long as other markers.

I have to admit that I'm a bit of a nut when it comes to colored pens. I think it's the teacher in me. These are great! The colors are bright and most of them write very smoothly. I was a little disappointed that two of the pens are touchy and only write smoothly about half of the time. The ink just doesn't flow out of them very nicely. The rest of them are awesome and I will definitely be buying more when these run out of ink.Best Deals for Uchida Le .03mm Point Pen Set, 10-Pack, Multicolor
These pens are amazing! I use them in a moleskin notebook and it's the perfect blend of giving clear and readable text without bleeding through to the next page. I had used sharpie pens prior to purchasing the LePen and while I liked the bold writing it bled through. Also these LePen's are so incredibly smooth it's amazing, they write really well on manilla folders as well. Highly recommend!Honest reviews on Uchida Le .03mm Point Pen Set, 10-Pack, Multicolor
My favorite pens ever! I love these so much and can't get enough. Writes so nicely too, fantastic pack to buy.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Uchida Le .03mm Point Pen Set, 10-Pack, Multicolor
These are my new favorite pens. For the quality, they're very inexpensive and versatile. Only downside is they do wear down and wear out perhaps a bit more quickly than other pens only if they're used ALL the time, as I use them.Thursday, December 4, 2014
Inovart Lino Cutter Set With Wood Handle And 5 Cutters Review
Having been in the linoleum and woodcut carving activity for some 30 years now, I have seen a wide variety of quality in carcing tools. This is one of the worst. I am pretty sure these tools are safe in the hands of a 4 year old because they are too dull to cut anything harder than butter. The tips don't set in the handle very well either, and the little contraption tool for inserting the blades is a joke. I'm not quite sure what I will do with this set yet, I certainly can't carve anything with it. The metal doesn't even appear to be a good enough quality to sharpen either. Worthless! I gave it a two star rating because it was shipped timely and was in good condition upon arrival, but as far as being able to do what it is supposed to do. No way.I bought this lino cutter set mainly because the handle was made of wood. My hands always slip on the plastic ones so this one is easier for me work with. So far its been great. The knives carve good too. i may have to borrow another one.

Review of Royal & Langnickel Painting by Numbers, Junior Small 4 -Piece Box
Very nice set for the price. I only gave it 4 stars because the colors aren't numbered or labeled so you have to figure out which of the three blues is which, etc. Also, the package was damaged badly and it was a gift... But, the price is right, 4 great paintings at a great price. Perfect gift for a 10 year old.

Cheap SC Crystal Drop Necklace Jewelry Set N1X75
I got this necklace to wear for my wedding, as soon as it arrived I wore it around the house with my veil and earrings. I didn't like the earrings that it came with, because I'd wanted something longer. But they do match nicely and the jewels all seems clear and very sparkly which was exactly what I'd wanted.
It is very sparkly. If you're looking for something a little less noticing, Get it.

Review of Set of 3 Bamboo Reed Pens
Bamboo as a writing material is millennia-old. You should tailor them to fit your hand. A sharp, flat blade will do. Don't forget to work on the top side of the nib so that you have a nice edge and better flow of ink. I use soot-based ink.

Moleskine notebook are known to have great quality sketchbooks. Conveniently shaped, with durable paper, the moleskine sketchbooks never let me down. I'm not sure about other artists, but I am the sort of person who has a thought process of the nicer the book looks the nicer my pictures inside have to be. This can act as a hindrance to those trying to get quick sketches in. For this these books are fantastic.
For these particular notebooks, it should be noted that I suggest these as sketchbooks if you're ONLY going to be sketching. The paper is smooth, but contrary to what you'd expect, graphite will not wander around the paper, even if you rub your finger over it. A school I hope to attend requires a sketchbook as part of the application process, and I have always hated sketchbook sketchbooks due to the simple fact that three days after starting one my first picture would be blurred. After carrying these around for well over a month, even purposefully rubbing two pages together, the only smudges I found were from unpressed graphite pencils.
Pen should be avoided if you wish to use both sides of the paper. It is extremely thin paper, and even pigmented ink that lays on the surface only of the page will show through simply because of how thin the paper actually is. Pens that bleed through paper you might as well forget about now. With how sensitive the paper is to pen, it goes without saying that this paper will support absolutely no wet media.
Please note that many, including these, Moleskine notebooks contain eggshell/off-white pages. This could pose a problem for those of you that use colored pencils, chalk, or markers in your work. These are not the hard-covered or even soft-covered imitation leather journals. Thin, natural, undecorated card stock is all you get.
These are by far some of my favorites, because they easily become personalized with the doodles you are tempted to draw on the cover and you are not 'scared of drawing' because of the price of the notebooks themselves. Knowing you have two more stashed away after opening the package just makes the experience more enjoyable. For all of you artists out there, enjoy!
I was required to have these notebooks for an art class, but I will never purchase them again.
Overall, here's how I'd rate this:
for quick pencil sketching: 3 stars
for everything else: 2 stars
The binding is nice, the paper quality is fantastic (both lined and blank). I was very surprised at how great the paper was with graphite, charcoal, and ink given the price. This is definitely a great value for students and art enthusiasts on a budget. The size varieties are nice, ranging from pocket size to full notebook.

Pages are really, REALLY thin and flimsy. You will not be able to draw on the back of your pages unless you want to see the drawings from the reverse side through your new work. If you still want this sketchbook, know that you'll need to put a thicker sheet of paper under every page you work on because even medium pressure will make dents on the opposite page, rendering that one (and possibly a couple more below it) useless too. It's only good for light pencil work. If you do a lot of quick pencil sketches on the go, you might like this. But even in that case there are better small sketchbooks out there.I was required to have these notebooks for an art class, but I will never purchase them again.

Best Deals for Moleskine Cahier Journal (Set of 3), Large, Plain, Kraft Brown
I purchased these to make custom journals and sketchbooks. I wanted a blank, sturdy cover to handle not only gesso but acrylic paints, transfers, and mediums as well. This notebook has exactly that, and this is one of the most durable non-hardback notebooks I've seen yet. The back cover is actually a folder/flap to hold papers (which easily tear out of parts of the book). The binding is nice, the paper quality is fantastic (both lined and blank). I was very surprised at how great the paper was with graphite, charcoal, and ink given the price. This is definitely a great value for students and art enthusiasts on a budget. Very disappointed. These stencils are not as I expected...I thought they would be plastic since when you use a stencil it is generally with wet paint and no where in the description does it say they are made of very thin cardboard, they aren't even as sturdy as the type of board that cereal boxes are made of. I would return these, but since I'd have to pay to ship them back it wouldn't even be worth it. I wish I had read the other person's review that says they are cardboard and you need to punch the letters out yourself, sigh. I guess I was confused because the blue and white front picture in the package looks like blue plastic stencils. Boo. Amazon's descriptions are sometimes seriously lacking.
