One bead shows the green glass mixed all the way through and it's very pretty. The other bead shows the greenish part is only close to the center, so when you look from the side you basically see a clear glass bead. Also the silver part is not fused so tight to the glass. I'm disappointed because this was to be a gift. I expected "Two Bead Set" to be a closely matched set as shown in the image. They sould look fairly even... instead it's like two different beads. If you don't care that they may not match then they are nice. However, I do feel it's unfair to list them as a set, rather it should say "no two exactly alike".

I like this brand of embossing folder because it's easy to position your paper in it without it slipping. The results are the same every time.

Delivery from Scrapbooking Alley was very fast. Their prices compared to a number of retailers is also very good and shipping is free with at least $50 in purchases or a very reasonable $5.95 up to $50.

A big note for those who purchased the 4oz Color Wash spray in the last year: Ranger discontinued several colors like Pesto, Mushroom, Terra Cotta etc. and also discontinued the 4oz size. Now there is only a 2oz size but it costs the same as the 4oz size so that works out to a 100% price increase. Thanks a lot Ranger.

The 2oz size does however spray a finer mist than the 4oz size. The 4oz sprayed lots of large drops regardless of the angle it was used at but was easy to transfer to a bottle with a finer spray.

All the color wash sprays work incredibly well on a number of materials. I've used it mainly on paper, card-stock and grass-cloth and the color on those has become permanent when dry. After spraying with the color wash sprays you can spray a fine mist of water to blend the colors further. The colors are really rich but they are less intense than the matching alcohol inks. When purchasing note that even the 2oz goes really far as you use relatively small amounts for great effect.

A quick tip is to use a cardboard box layered with paper or card-stock when spraying. This prevents the spray from getting on other objects or furniture and also gives a two for one as you get some interesting looking paper in addition to the item you are spraying. Another tip is that the large drops normally emerge within the first three sprays so if you are trying to avoid a splotchy look use the spray on paper first before spraying your object.

I miss the old, larger size of this product, but am happy it's still in production. Works great on both paper and fabric. Water based, so it will reactivate if it comes in contact with water or another water-based product. Dilute some in a separate container and you have two colors.

Very disappointed. These stencils are not as I expected...I thought they would be plastic since when you use a stencil it is generally with wet paint and no where in the description does it say they are made of very thin cardboard, they aren't even as sturdy as the type of board that cereal boxes are made of. I would return these, but since I'd have to pay to ship them back it wouldn't even be worth it. I wish I had read the other person's review that says they are cardboard and you need to punch the letters out yourself, sigh. I guess I was confused because the blue and white front picture in the package looks like blue plastic stencils. Boo. Amazon's descriptions are sometimes seriously lacking.

They are cardboard and you have to be very careful when punching out the letters and I don't know if they are reuseable, but they are not very strong. It would be nice for someone to make plastic ones that are reuseable, probably cost no more to make, just saying

Cheap Wolff's Carbon Pencil Set

Gave these 4 stars but really mean 4.5 stars. These are a four pencil set to 6B softness. The idea of using carbon pencils is get the dark tones without the sheen you get when using graphite. I guess the pencils are more "charcoal like" than graphite but without quite the messiness of pure charcoal. Do not expect to cleanly erase these carbon pencil lines...ain't gonna happen. Yeah, it will still produce residue, just carefully store your drawings.

If you want really great black pencils, this is it. When using graphite pencils, you can never really get super black and the harder you press to get dark the shinier it gets and it gives a glare and does not go dark enough. These do not glare or shine and give a nice deep dark black....perfect for the pupils of the eye dark highlights.

I noticed someone wrote that she couldn't get the fine details of this die to come out. With my machine (Grand Calibur) I added a small shim (piece of cardstock), ran the die at an angle several times and I put a piece of wax paper between the die and the paper. Sometimes I have to poke a few pieces out but it comes out perfect every time. I love this die and the process works with all of my intricate dies. So much fun . . . so little time. Hope this helps.

I really liked these letters. They are very cute and look just like they do in the picture. I don't have the actual Sizzix machine (I have a Cuttlebug), so I am still figuring out how to use this in my machine without ruining my mats. The only downside to this die is that you basically have to cut out the entire alphabet at once kind of a bummer if you only need a letter or two.

Unfortunately my experience with this thread was not as admirable as the two other reviewers. I've tried several spools in this collection in my Brother PE770, and all shredded and broke. Switched back to Embroidex or Hemingworth, same project, same stabilizer, same pattern and no breaks or shreds. I basically gave up using this because while some of the colors are desirable, I just don't want the delays of having my machine gummed up with shredded thread.

I tried other variegated thread and it was a nightmare. These doesn't break the needle, the thread comes off the spools perfectly and rarely, if ever, break during a project. The colors are fantastic! A few are longer color strands, so be sure and unwind the thread to gauge how often (or less often) the color changes. It definitely adds dimension to my machine embroidery projects!

One negative: no locking spool bottoms. Lots of other people offered solutions to get around this, it doesn't bother me.

I was given these markers as a gift for my 12 year old triplets to use and I found I was using them more than them. Now don't get me wrong, they loved them too, but they are not just for kids. I used to be in the restaurant business and I would have loved to have had these for menu special boards, window messages, employee white board messages, etc. These markers work on so many different surfaces, they do the job of chalk, dry erase, and permanent markers. I've done numerous projects with my pens since I've recieved them, and all turned out excellent. The ease of cleaning the marks off of surfaces is amazing.
