These are amazing watercolors. Pigment-rich but very transparent. I originally thought the price was high, but later found pricing to be comparable to, if not cheaper than, some sites. Shipping was fast, especially considering they come from Japan. Note: For those who don't know what size tube 5ml is (I didn't), it's pretty small. Still, worth the money because of the quality. One more thing.... the seller was very responsive when I asked questions.

We make orgonite and this is much better than the brownish fiberglass resin available at the hardware store. We did read that it's important not to add too much catalyst or it won't set up properly and will be sticky indefinitely (although some say that can be corrected by putting it in an oven on low heat, but then I'd be worried about off-gassing where I cook my food). Follow the directions to the letter, you should get the results you want.

I've used a few different kinds of resin and this one is certainly my favorite. The directions are pretty well spot on though I find that using about 10-12 drops of catalyst per 1oz of resin sets up great no matter what I'm doing. It sets up into a fairly workable "soft cure" within just a few hours and within a few days it's a fully set up "hard cure". Put your castings into a sealed container or if you don't have one be sure that the room is well vented as the fumes can be pretty strong. If mixed right you will have a crystal clear and bubble free casting every time you use it.

This is a good product. I am new to casting, but this prodcut was very easy to use. All you have to do is follow the instructions and you should have no problems.

My wife knits nearly 24/7 and complains about the texture of metal and plastic needles all the time. She uses bamboo for the most part, but those can be hard to find. She has always wanted a good wooden set but she could never find the will to splurge on them. I bought these as an early anniversary gift and she LOVED them. I'm not a knitter and I know jack about needles, but the wood seems study and the sizes are all clearly marked on the knobs at the ends. The case is fantastic and really adds a touch of class to the set. I just hope this set means that there won't be a mess of needles in my living room anymore, but that's probably asking too much.

They're not the quality that the crochet hooks were. They're not as highly polished. They had rough areas I had to remove; felt like tiny beads of varnish. One knittting needle was broken, but not all the way; like a shaved area that will break eventually and soon if I keep using it. I found it when it snagged the yarn on the project I am working on. Disappointed. I ordered a separate set of the 10-1/2s from another manufacturer.

I love Le Pen. The slim profile is fantastic for long sessions of taking notes. I also love that they never bleed through my moleskin pages. And with multiple colors, I can highlight the most important insights and the things I want to remember. The only downside to Le Pen is that the felt nibs will wear down with pressure so they just don't last as long as other markers.

I have to admit that I'm a bit of a nut when it comes to colored pens. I think it's the teacher in me. These are great! The colors are bright and most of them write very smoothly. I was a little disappointed that two of the pens are touchy and only write smoothly about half of the time. The ink just doesn't flow out of them very nicely. The rest of them are awesome and I will definitely be buying more when these run out of ink.

These pens are amazing! I use them in a moleskin notebook and it's the perfect blend of giving clear and readable text without bleeding through to the next page. I had used sharpie pens prior to purchasing the LePen and while I liked the bold writing it bled through. Also these LePen's are so incredibly smooth it's amazing, they write really well on manilla folders as well. Highly recommend!

These are my new favorite pens. For the quality, they're very inexpensive and versatile. Only downside is they do wear down and wear out perhaps a bit more quickly than other pens only if they're used ALL the time, as I use them.

We took a class where we painted wine glasses and thought we'd paint some for bachelorette party favors. We bought this paint because it said it could be used to paint glass and could be baked to keep it on. The colors were great and matched her colors wonderfully. However, they didn't coat well. they were VERY thin and see through. Even waiting for a coat to dry and repaint didn't work so well. I used this paint for craft projects all the time and will continue to, but for the purpose of glass, I'd try a different product.

These are wonderful wine glasses, though I was hoping that they were 1:12 scale, they are better suited for Barbie size. But they will make great props in various dollhouse seasonal settings, I am planning on using a couple for Christmas where I will put mini Christmas ornaments in them for a table centerpiece and mantle decor. For Halloween, they will be great for many potions. I also thought that they may make wonderful pendant lights.

The price and quality you get in these student grade paints can't be beat.

-They're okay when extended with medium. You have to use a lot of them in the medium to not lose the colour. I recommend using a professional medium with them if you can afford it. I definitely noticed a difference when I used Liquitex gel mediums vs Golden or Winsor & Newton.

-The pigment load is okay, but will not look "vibrant". Some of the colours are noticeably brighter than others when mixed with medium (Pthalo blue looks great for example, whereas primary yellow tends to look flat)

-They don't hold up to the test of time well, the lightfastness is not great but definitely better than other student grade paints.

I recommend these for:

-Art students/any school based painting project

-Hobbyist or new painter

-Experimentation with new techniques

I do not recommend these for:

-Paintings you intend to give as a gift (or keep)

-Paintings you intend to sell

-Anyone past "student"

I wanted to get acrylic paint but I wanted to start off with basics, this did just that more me. It's easy to mix colors to make tons of new ones.mthe shades are very true to their colors. In comparison this is about what'd you pay if you bought a bunch of 2oz tubes by them self, more for the same price well sure why not?! Comes with white and black too, so you can lighten and darken your colors. I don't know much about acrylic paint but it does it's job, it's thick ( I like that ) but easily thinned with some water.

Just started painting and so far these paints are perfect for me. Great to start with. I mix my own colors by just trial and error and I am pretty happy with the results.

The paint goes on smooth and dries within 10 minutes, which is good because a few times I made mistakes and was able to take a wet paper towel and just wipe off the paint with out disturbing the paint on the layer underneath that had already dried. Once its dry tho I dont think it will come out.

Great paints to start with. My sister who is a professional artist also gave her approval (for what that's worth).

(#1 REVIEWER)I had my Olfa rotary blade for over 10 years. I use it practically every week, so it gets a lot of work.

I use my rotary cutter for quilting fabric, cutting photographic paper, cutting regular paper. My blades do a lot of work!

I use a rotary blade sharpener to prolong the life of each blade for a long time. I have re-sharpened each blade at least 10 times each. I see improved cutting (for example, on fabric you stop getting a few threads that did not get cut on the first stroke).

These blades are very high quality, they take many re-sharpening and continue to work as new!

For most part of the 10 years I have re-sharpened my Olfa rotary blade, I used a rotary blade sharperner Rotary Blade SharpenerFor 45mm Blades

To sharpen the blade, you to disassemble the rotary cutter, which has a number of pieces including the blade. Then you place the the blade between two round circles the sharpener. Each side facing the blade has sand paper, that polishes out the nicks in the blade. You sharpen the blade by rotating the two pieces of the sharper against each other. After the sharpening you have to move the blade back to the rotary cutter, and then reassemble the rotary cutter correctly (one has to remember how pieces fit together exactly).

Recently I discovered a sharpener that works without having to remove the blade from the cutter. It works by using the same motion as you cut, by moving the cutter in the sharpener itself. Not having to remove the blade from the sharpener is a *huge* advantage. It is faster, less chance of cutting yourself, and no chance of assembling the rotary cutter the wrong way (been there, done that). It is called "TrueCut"TrueCut Rotary Blade Sharpener

Both rotary cutters work well and prolong the life your blades, and thus save you money.

So I highly recommend this blade refill and its usage with the blade sharpener.

The olfa rotary blade refill 45mm-5 pack is great to have on hand when my blade gets dull, nicked or damaged. The 45mm is the middle size cutter that I can handle easily through many fabric thicknesses. The notched opening in center holds blades well.
