This is a really nice fabric marking set, it comes with re-fills in different colors for any color cloth. The problem is that the leads of the pencil are really flimsy. I pretty much broke a full one because every time I went to mark a piece of fabric a little tiny bit would break off of the lead. Maybe I just got an old one or something.

Great marking set for transfer of pattern elements. I have used it with a great deal of satisfaction. Marks are more precise than with regular chalk. The eraser does its job well. Chalk "lead" is, of course, thin and it breaks easily. But, once you have the pressure use down pat, all is great.

I use this to make legible marks on dark woods. As a woodworker I've used everything from sharpened china markers [sucks] to expensive white painter's pencils. The Dritz is the ticket with an easy to see mark that's fine as pine and better on walnut. Shazzam!
