I have used this brand in water color pencils for years, and love them. So, I was shocked at how BAD the fine line black pens are. Not a good rich black. More like a cheap Sharpie, with a red cast to it. The tips are not very good either. You don't get a good even flow. Gave these to my husband to use in his wood shop.

I had initially purchased the Sakura Microns per advice I was given by card makers whom claim it works great to fill in missing lines from rubber stamps and would be waterproof. Unfortunately, the Microns did not live up to its waterproof claim. These Prismacolors claim to be "water-resistant" and held up much better. There was minute bit of bleeding, but nowhere near the amount the "waterproof" Microns. I am very happy with this product.

I use these for my architectural drafting and sketches. They are great. My only problem is that the very fine markers are very easy to damage if you apply too much pressure, which I tend to do.

This is a great product for those looking to do fine line drawings. Sharp and smooth lines. Little shred to pens. Good variety of thickness available in pack. Only issue I had was that amazon shipped this little package in more cardboard than truly necessary!
