Cheap Plaid:Delta - Ceramcoat Gleams Acrylic Paint 2 Ounces
nice all purpose acrylic metallic paint. was cheaper to order and ship than to buy it at my local hobby store. Is that crazy or what? anyway, nice opacity, smooth consistency, and easy soap and water clean up when wet.

Buy Reeves Assorted 12-Milliliter Watercolor Paint, 18-Pack
The Reeves Assorted Watercolor Paint was well packaged and arrived in good condition. As a new painter, I was not familiar with the brand, but when I brought it to art class, my instructor was surprised that I had found a good quality product at a reasonable price. Her words? "That's a good deal"!
Edit about a year later: One thing I've noticed over time is the paint has a slight smell. It's not necessarily bad and it isn't overwhelming, but it's not a smell I normally find with tube watercolors. If you're super sensitive to paint smells, this is your warning.
One mistake beginners almost invariably make is choosing cheap materials. It's understandable; watercolor paint is EXPENSIVE. Most of my paints are 15 bucks or more a tube. When I teach a class, I recommend a set of reasonably good colors that I know work well, but inevitably, despite putting down a list of materials that I KNOW will work, that are reasonably priced, students show up to class with something else that "they found in town" or "was a lot cheaper." Then they sit in class and nearly are in tears when they can't reproduce a simple exercise and have a pale, washy, gritty, smeary result. If they are frustrated, imagine the teacher, who TRIED to get them started right and was foiled by their insistence on not following the instruction they were paying for! Go figure!
Reeves is an established brand of colors that has been around for many years. While I do not prefer these paints myself, and would prefer to see students start with fewer colors, of a better grade, of a different brand (either Cotman by Winsor Newton or American Journey/Davinci) these are acceptable and more so, they are cheap and since most people can't understand why you'd buy three tubes that cost as much as 18, they'll do.
By the way, the PAPER is just as expensive and JUST as important. I prefer Arches or Fabriano and no, the cheap tablets in the children's art department will buckle, peel and not be able to be "scrubbed" so you get what you pay for. DON'T GET me started on brushes. I will tell you, the Taklon, synthetic brushes nowadays are as good or better than a cheap sable brush and won't leave hairs on your painting. It's possible to start in watercolor without spending a fortune, but the better the materials, the less frustration you'll experience and the more pleasure. I've been painting watercolor for fifty years, and I know what works and what doesn't. If you outgrow these paints, step up to artists' grade and choose a limited palette (you only need six or eight colors, really) and you'll find you can do more with better, but less.
However, I do wish it came in a box that was a bit easier to maneuver. Overall, a great product!

I purchased these for a project I really didn't want to use my more expensive watercolors on. As far as how they work/pigmentation/etc they are pretty close to right on par with the expensive brands I use. The only test remaining is how long they can retain their vibrancy as the paintings age. If they stay nice and colorful, then they'll definitely be a steal!Edit about a year later: One thing I've noticed over time is the paint has a slight smell. These colors are not as pigment-rich as professional colors; the grade of watercolor is determined by how much expensive pigment (the chemical compounds that make the color) is blended into a carrier of glycerin or other gel-like liquids. The frustrations of watercolor are many; it's a difficult medium because it is unpredictable and you can't easily fix mistakes. One mistake beginners almost invariably make is choosing cheap materials. My Grand Daughter is into painting and was tired of the "wet and use tray paint", she said it was for "little kids". So, I purchased this set for her and she absolutely loves it. The colors are vibrant and adhere to the surface well and the paint cleans up easily. She loves being able to mix her own colors in the plastic painting tray I also purchased separately. It's a wonderful hobby that keeps her occupied with something besides video games.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Reeves Assorted 12-Milliliter Watercolor Paint, 18-Pack

Review of Pocket Guide To Mixing Color-
This has been a fantastic little tool. I can carry it right with me and refer to it as a resource when I have a thought about what color's to use.

Product is misprinted and should not be sold as is. One of the images is incorrect and should be corrected. It shows a wrong color shade/tone that I must believe they now know about but continue to sell anyway. I added this product onto my order because it was a suggested item from Amazon. Amazon should check products out before recommending them. The other images are okay. But a glossy printed card for $5? And printed wrong? Come on Amazon!

Review of Janome Hemmer Feet (4mm & 6mm) for Horizontal Rotary Hook Models
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $24.99
Sale Price: $20.77
Today's Bonus: 17% Off

I ordered this set of presser feet for my new Janome machine. I expected to receive Janome feet, as pictured, in the original packaging. What I received was two presser feet in a zip-top baggie, with a photocopied sheet of "instructions." Nowhere in the product information stated that some off-brand presser feet would be sent. I tried them on my machine, and they did not fit well. I went to a local store that sells Janome accessories, and compared them, and they are nowhere near the quality of true Janome feet, for nearly the same price. I requested to return the items, which I have to pay return shipping on. I am NOT pleased with this company, and will not be purchasing from them again. I will be purchasing all Janome accessories from an actual Janome dealer. Lesson learned.

I bought a gently used Janome and it was missing its hemmer foot. This package has 2 sizes of feet to make a small or medium rolled hem for clothes, napkins, seams, whereever a rolled hem would work best. I don't want to say the 6mm is 'large' vs medium like I called it because I would use it for napkins or tablecloths where there might be an issue of the fabric unraveling with too little of a roll. It's great having a choice of hemmer feet and they easily snap off and on as needed.Best Deals for Janome Hemmer Feet (4mm & 6mm) for Horizontal Rotary Hook Models

Buy Makin's USA Clay Cutters, Frog, 3 Per Package
I LOVE this cutter and ALL makin's cutters, it was just the right size for me and they are VERY well made, the largest is just under 2" smallest approx. 3/4" it will be ideal to use for crafts. These cutters are so tiny they are useless! That "largest" one is barely an inch in diameter. The smallest one isn't even usable! Junk!

I have been using these brushes for a couple of weeks, somehave already started loosing hair, one is already completely broken. I am extremely unhappy with the product.other review says they lost hairs in the brushes already. Well, doesn't most 'new' brushes lose hairs until they are more/less broken in? These brushes have been near perfect for oil painting. If you clean them correctly, like any other quality artist brush, they will last for years. I'd buy these again for sure.

Best Wholesale 10PCS of 8mm 18K White Gold Plated Round Pave Magnetic Deals
Strong, reliable magnets, just the right size for making bracelets or necklaces (says 8mm but I think these look more like 6mm). I used these clasps for some of my own bracelets that I made over a year ago and they have not tarnished one bit, nor have I lost any stones. This is a clasp that looks nice enough to use with expensive beads or pearls.

I bought these to go with a craft project for my daughter's Daisy's Scouts. This was the best price I could find for the item, and went ahead and purchased. They are beautiful, and exactly as described. The magnet seems to be very stong, I will only be using for bracelets, with an average size of 6mm beads. I thought for little hands, they would be easy to take on and off by themselves. They glitter, which girls love and they also love magnets. They arrived by certified mail, for which I needed to sign, directly from China. I did not realize that I would need to sign for the package, but that is a minor detail for me. The only complaint I would have is that the clasps did not come with any documentation stating what they are made from. The quality does seem excellent.Best Deals for Wholesale 10PCS of 8mm 18K White Gold Plated Round Pave Magnetic

I love to do these type of PBN projects except I use gel pens and they turn out beautiful I started doing them when I was diagnosed with cancer and was stuck in bed for awhile and needed something to do not good with a paint brush so my sister said use all those gel pens we got you so I matched them best I could and I have been going ever since the more detailed the picture the better it looks and this moonlit cabin is my all time favorite byfar....
I like Dimensions paint by number kits. The numbers on the "canvas" are printed lightly enough that they do not show through the paint. The detail is subtle enough to give the image more of a "real" look, instead of some rather flat 2-dimensional paint by number images I have seen.
Most impressively, the customer service is fast and good. There were a couple of paints that had not shipped well. I sent them back for replacement and the replacements came promptly. They even supplied me with extra! I recommend this project to anyone who likes paint by number kits (and chickadees.)

This paint by number is very large and I was a little intimidated by that when I received it. However, it went rather fast, once I started. The color choices by whoever made the pattern blend well to make a startlingly realistic image of the birds and branches, as they are just touched by the morning sun.I like Dimensions paint by number kits.
