I thought that they'd be bigger but it's fine. The 2.5"X1"X3.2" that they give means the entire set is that big. The "Homework" stamp is 1.5" (long) X1" (tall) X3/4" (wide) and all the others are 3/4" X 3/4" X 1". The print on the stamp labels are colored, not black as pictured, but since the stamp is whatever color you use, it's really irrelevant. Stamp set comes in a little plastic box. The stamps are indeed deeply cut so they should make a good impression. I got these for a friend of mine who's a first year teacher to-be, so I haven't used them myself. My only concern is that some of the letters will run together since they're so close together on the stamp itself.

As one of the top sellers in professional markers it stands by its word. I have used them over and over for rendering projects and each time they seem to be new. They never seem to die or go dry like most markers. Prismacolor is a very reliable marker to have on hand. The only draw back of this great product is the price. As you see sets are very expensive and single markers match that tone. But amazon does a good job of lower the bite of the price. Overall with price the prismacolor markers are well worth the dent in the pocket compared to what else is out there.

As one of the top selling brands of artistic markers, this Prismacolor set has benefited my artwork through the vivid color assortment, multiple line width possibilities, and high performance of each marker. My mother is a professional artist and I've also begun to sell my artwork, which entails heavy use of this set. Constantly I receive comments on the colors and intricate details of my designs. Ever since these remarks became prominent, I have been a supporter of this marker set.

Brilliant colors are enclosed like those of a rainbow. The vivid hues and tints can easily be blended to create wondrous works of art. Thankfully, the colors advertised are the actual colors you will see form and come to life in your artwork.

Each marker is double-ended with one end having a fine tip and the other a broad tip. The fine tipped end lets me easily maneuver when I am working with elaborate details. The other end produces a line that can be broad, medium, or thin. These two different tips permit me to adapt much more smoothly to a variety of projects. This added bonus of four different line widths I've found to be an explicit advantage and the marker seems to know what I want to convey each time so my work is accurately depicted.

I've employed these markers on many different projects and they are as bold and useful as the first time they jumped out of the box. Their performance has never included drying out or problems with bleeding. Their high quality never fails to generate my desired result explicitly. Prismacolor is the top-seller of artistic markers and have proven to me that they are one of the best brands on the market.

Unfortunately, because of the elevated quality of Prismacolor markers, they can be very expensive at art supply stores. However, Amazon does contribute considerably by bringing the prices down to a level that is reasonable. These markers are well worth their price as they have demonstrated to me time and again.

I've been drawn to this brand as a firefly to light and would recommend this set to the professional artist or someone just starting out. Your creativity is limitless as they allow for any drawing to commence whole-heartedly. They have a variety of bright colors, have multiple line possibilities, and endure even the most extensive projects. I've used these markers in almost all of my artwork and I can visibly see the difference they've made which has brought my work to a whole new level of creativity.

As I noted in my other reviews, Prismas are considered one of the top professional markers (the others being Copic and Chartpak).

Prismacolor PROs:

professional grade markers

most economical/cheap of the major professional marker brands, especially when bought in a set (around $2 per marker)

Prismacolor CONs:

in my opinion, dries too quickly and too much color saturation

Prismacolor markers seem to be the most color-centrated. Prismacolor markers dry much quicker and are much darker initially, and I find it a little harder to control the saturation of these markers and also the ability to blend these markers easily.I feel like these would be a good choice for comic book illustrators who are looking for strong bold colors, but for people who like to render in more subtle color, you should choose Copic or Chartpak.

I feel that in sets like this, it's actually a better choice to buy markers individually. Local art stores often have better deals than on Amazon, and being able to choose the colors you want is priceless. Some of the colors in this set are sometimes not right for what I want to render (and some of the browns are too dry looking), so I prefer to buy my markers individually (and with store coupons/membership cards, they can be under $2 a marker). For the price of this set, you could get an equal set of individual markers with colors of your own choosing. Remember to bring/buy marker paper to test the color of the markers, because the colors on the packages are often misleading.

I just got the markers today and I am really happy. At Micheal's these would have been $30-48. They never seem to go dry, and a re excellent colors. They are very high standard for beginners to professionals.

I make and sell greeting cards to benefit our local library, and have quite a few sets of Sizzix Sizzlets dies. This three-piece Sunrise Flower Blossoms set is quite nice for decorating all sorts of cards (see customer image above for a friendship card decorated with one of these dies). I generally use watercolors to color these blossoms.

I've experimented with cutting Sizzix Sizzlits die sets with the Spellbinders Grand Calibur Die Cutting Machine, and I did get them to cut by using shims of different thicknesses, but I strongly recommend that you use these thin dies only on Sizzix die cutting machines. I use them with the Sizzix 655268 Big Shot Cutting-and-Embossing Roller-Style Machine with Standard Multipurpose Platform, Black & Pink. Even then, it's tricky to get a clean cut with the Sizzlets. I can only get a good cut with lightweight cardstock (80 lbs or lighter) or text-weight paper. If you need to cut heavier paper, I suggest you add a shim between the clear plates along with the paper you want to cut.

Have used this product for years on various projects and have never been disappointed. They go on easily and look great. You can apply as much or little as you want. A little goes a very long way. One tube will last forever. This set of 12 colors is great. The black works really well on wrought iron. The various gold shades are very versatile. The only color I'm not crazy about is "patina". It's way too blue in my opinion. It doesn't at all like natural patina to me. There are other manufacturers that make a more convincing "patina" color. Besides that I can recommend this product highly enough.

I bought this product because I was doing a quick, down-and-dirty, budget upgrade of my guest bathroom, which had been previously trimmed entirely with poorly-aging brass fixtures. I didn't want to pay to replace every fixture in the room, so I decided to try the pewter color on my faucet, drain, door hinges, light and electrical plate, light fixture, mirror frame, towel racks, wall hooks, cabinet knobs and toilet paper holder. When you consider that this is just a tiny little tube of liquid wax, the results are pretty amazing.

It's fairly easy to use, although you do need to practice a little bit to find a technique that works for you. It's amazing that such a tiny amount of it, smeared so thin, will cover so completely... especially when you consider I was covering a brass finish with a silver toned one. It does dry fast, so you have to work pretty quickly in one small area at a time.

After a few weeks of daily use, the finish held up amazingly well under the circumstances. The light fixture, door hinges, and medicine cabinet frame are great, and the towel bars are pretty good. The finish is starting to wear off the paper towel spool and cabinet knobs which isn't surprising, considering they get the most wear and tear. I never expected the faucet and drain to hold up at all even though I added a top coat of polyurethane. I assumed that bathroom cleaners would immediately ruin the finish. After a few weeks, they look ok. There's a bit of water spotting, and I imagine the finish won't last indefinitely. But it still looks a lot better than the old, tarnished brass one. Bottom line, a little effort and a six dollar tube of this stuff made a huge difference in my bathroom and bought me a little time before I have to do a more expensive update. And even then, I might be able to get away with just replacing the faucet, knobs, and TP holder.

This product is a great choice for refinishing anything that doesn't get a lot of handling or friction against the finish part hinges, chandeliers/light fixtures, glazed ceramics, etc. Anything that gets handled a lot should probably get a polyurethane coat afterwards.

Glob All Natural Paint Kits Reviews

I wanted to love them but I didn't. I gave them three stars simply because they are an eco-friendly product. I am usually more tolerant with natural products so just rating performance, ease of use and price (compared to traditional paint) I would give them 1 star.

I know "clean paints" is an oxymoron, but these were extra messy. The packets are not resealable, so paint powder spilled everywhere. Mixing them is an annoying step when you have an eager toddler. Even if you mix them to be thick, they are like watercolors very transparent. On the positive side, they smelled great and didn't really stain my daughter's hands. Everything washed up easily for me. I wouldn't recommend them. The company has the right idea with green paints, but needs to rethink the execution.

I absolutely love everything about these paints! They came with cups to mix the paints in and two small, wooden-handled brushes. I mixed the paint according to package instructions and the result was a gel-like consistency. It doesn't spill even if the cup is turned completely upside downperfect for my two-year-old artist. More water can be added for a looser consistency if desired. These paints smell amazing, like fresh fruits and herbs. It didn't seem like much paint powder when I first opened it, but a little goes a long way and has lasted months of regular use because I only mix up 2 to 3 colors at a time. Leftover paint can be stored in the fridge. I would highly recommend this product and will purchase again when we run out.

My kids (4 and 8 years old) loved mixing, smelling and painting with these paints. The one caveat is that the texture is close to traditional watercolor paints and therefore not even close to the thick, opaque quality of the tempera paints many kids are used to. I bought these along with the Original Natural Edible Finger Paint Made with Organic Ingredients 5 Pc Set. The Glob paints mixed much better, much more like traditional watercolors while the "Edible" finger paint never really came together. No matter how much we mixed it, it was still clear water with colored sand and after a few days it smelled like rotten vegetables. The Glob paints smell fantastic!

The containers that come with the set are a bit flimsy, so you have to be careful that the covers don't break. However, I love that not too much plastic was used in making them. Colors are wonderful, we've found that you have to use a bit more purple then the other colors. Smell is amazing!

These birds arrived much later than estimated. When I contacted to company they were prompt in replying and resolving the issue so THUMBS UP for their customer service. When the cardinals finally DID arrive, I really liked the attention to detail and overall delicate look of these birds. The red coloring and feathers were consistent and uniform. The one criticism I have about these birds is that they all face the same direction. If the birds had a variety of head positions this product would definitely deserve the full five-star rating! It is not the best quality mirror around, but it does the job for the price. I needed a decorative piece as well as a mirror in my office and did not want to spend a ton of money on it. This does the job. As long as you Windex the mirror once you take it out of the wrapping, it actually is quite clear. I used one Command Hook Strip to hang it on the wall and keep it level since there is no hook on the back of the mirror.

18 Kraft Edgers Scissor Class Set Reviews

I love scrapbooking and stamping/card making. I was also an elementary teacher. As far as something that would have been good in the classroom, these are amazing. They are not overly sharp so you don't have to worry about little fingers getting hurt with these. As a teacher, these get 5 stars.

As a paper crafter, they fall a bit short. On thinner papers, such as notebook paper or construction paper, these cut beautifully. However, when cutting cardstock (a much thicker paper) they seem to have an exceedingly hard time getting through the paper without leaving pieces that are not fully cut. As a result, you end up having to re-cut and the lines do not look as sharp or clean. I wish I had known that before buying them but at least I can still use them on thinner papers. So, if you are looking for some nice scissors for cardstock, please find something else.

Also, this same set is available from another seller on Amazon for a bit cheaper (at the moment I write this they are $7 cheaper) and the shipping is free on that set as well. They are labeled as "Rotating Wood Scissor Organizer With 18 Assorted Kraft Edger Scissors" but it appears to be the same set by the same manufacturer with the same number of scissors in the set.

I got these scissors from Sam's Club and they are wonderful. They cut well. The blades meet properly and the handle is solid, well-built. My kids love them for crafts; and I use them occasionally, as well. There are so many choices of edging, I sometimes find it hard to choose, but it's nice to have that problem.

The rotating stand is handy for keeping all the scissors together and ready to go. It's made of wood and also a quality product. This set is great for classrooms and scrapbookers alike.

Kids could have fun with these but I don't really consider them to be toys. I am a paper crafter and love the different edges I can cut with these. I use them for fancy edges on cards and scrapbook embellishments. I use the "Mini Peaks" design to cut leaves with serrated edges for artificial flowers.

I take exception to the first "review" of this product. The writer didn't even purchase them and is just complaining about the cost of shipping.

These brushes are definitely as good as they look in the picture and I really like teh assortment of different types. The bristles look like they will really hold a line well and the length of the brushes is good. Am holding back the final star until I actually can start painting with them, but right now itching to use them.

I loved these cards! They are unique and I delivered them to my special friends, who were so excited to get them and they all wanted to know where I got them. The quality of these cards is impressive, the card is very thick and had almost a silken, shiny texture. They fit into the little envelopes with ease and the "To/From" cards peeled right off. These were also thicker than I anticipated...these are very high quality products, I will order more Martha Stewart items because of the quality.
