I've loved this pattern of toggles but never saw them in anything except silver plated. these are so beautiful, they almost act as a centerpiece of the necklace and make it so much easier to put on and take off, esp if you're by yourself. their price was ok, but on the whole, the aesthetics of it make up for the slight price bump. really makes any necklace or bracelet, giving it a classy finishing touch.

This is an excellent set for most knitters' needs. They are sharp enough for lace but work well on regular projects as well. The needles have never come loose from the cables (which has happened with many other types of interchangeables) and because the cable swivels on the base there are no awkward kinks. The joins are very smooth so the knitting slides easily. If you do a lot of small circular work you might want to get the 4" needles, the 5" are a bit awkward with the shortest cable.

I have recently returned to the hobby of knitting. I had the usual Susan Bates and Boye for my knitting needles. They were Ok, but when I learned to use the interchangeable knitting needles I tried HiyaHiya for their great review by other knitters. These are AWSOME! It is not the best quality mirror around, but it does the job for the price. I needed a decorative piece as well as a mirror in my office and did not want to spend a ton of money on it. This does the job. As long as you Windex the mirror once you take it out of the wrapping, it actually is quite clear. I used one Command Hook Strip to hang it on the wall and keep it level since there is no hook on the back of the mirror.

The year was 1956, and I tore up some of my mother's magazines and created my first collage. It depicted St. Francis feeding some doves, and the paper was adhered to the cardboard from a shirt package with Elmer's Glue-All. The little saint did not survive my many travels, but several pieces from the early '60 are alive and well, without a single piece of paper unglued, thanks to Elmer's. Elmer's is the only product I know of that has never introduced a "New and Improved" version of itself, because the formula is perfect, and cannot be bettered.

My work since that first effort has evolved and become much more elaborate, but the glue remains the same. The only time that I experimented and tried a different product turned out to be disastrous. I have used Elmer's for thousands of collages, most of them using paper, but also petals and leaves, and fabric. I own a piece I did in 1983 constructed of lettuce leaves and hibiscus petals, with Elmer's doing its duty and keeping it as good as it looked 22 years ago.

Elmer's Glue-All "Dries Strong, Dries Clear," and is "Safe, Non-Toxic." It has a very faint smell that is barely perceptible and not unpleasant, and is water-soluble, and can be used on porous materials (paper, cloth), and semi-porous (wood, pottery). Buy it by the gallon, or by the 4 OZ. container, and you will find that Elmer's does the job, and passes the test of time.

Elmer's Glue All is much, much better than Elmer's Washable No Run School Glue, 4 oz. (E304). It is more tacky has a stronger hold. It works especially well on paper, but it glues other substrates, also. The other day, I used it to glue plastic and Mylar together. Elmer's Glue All comes out opaque white, but it dries clear. That was important, because the plastic was clear, and I didn't want a white mess. The two pieces are still holding together.

I tend to use different glues for different applications (wood glue for wood, glue sticks for paper, etc.). When I am in need of glue and nothing else is available to suit my needs (or maybe I'm just plain out of other glues), I always have Elmer's Glue All on hand to the rescue. It usually does the trick.

Most of the screws differ length wise and not by the base diameter.

Tried for my watch but they are too big.

The head of the screw might be appropriate but the base is around 0.5 mm which is too big for watch screw replacements. Might be useful for glasses.

I bought this set for various items that have micro screws. For me it was a couple vintage key chains that had tiny batteries. My only complaint is that nothing is labeled (sizes), so its all guessing. Also the case it awful and one wrong tap and they all go flying getting mixed up etc...

18 Kraft Edgers Scissor Class Set Reviews

I love scrapbooking and stamping/card making. I was also an elementary teacher. As far as something that would have been good in the classroom, these are amazing. They are not overly sharp so you don't have to worry about little fingers getting hurt with these. As a teacher, these get 5 stars.

As a paper crafter, they fall a bit short. On thinner papers, such as notebook paper or construction paper, these cut beautifully. However, when cutting cardstock (a much thicker paper) they seem to have an exceedingly hard time getting through the paper without leaving pieces that are not fully cut. As a result, you end up having to re-cut and the lines do not look as sharp or clean. I wish I had known that before buying them but at least I can still use them on thinner papers. So, if you are looking for some nice scissors for cardstock, please find something else.

Also, this same set is available from another seller on Amazon for a bit cheaper (at the moment I write this they are $7 cheaper) and the shipping is free on that set as well. They are labeled as "Rotating Wood Scissor Organizer With 18 Assorted Kraft Edger Scissors" but it appears to be the same set by the same manufacturer with the same number of scissors in the set.

I got these scissors from Sam's Club and they are wonderful. They cut well. The blades meet properly and the handle is solid, well-built. My kids love them for crafts; and I use them occasionally, as well. There are so many choices of edging, I sometimes find it hard to choose, but it's nice to have that problem.

The rotating stand is handy for keeping all the scissors together and ready to go. It's made of wood and also a quality product. This set is great for classrooms and scrapbookers alike.

Kids could have fun with these but I don't really consider them to be toys. I am a paper crafter and love the different edges I can cut with these. I use them for fancy edges on cards and scrapbook embellishments. I use the "Mini Peaks" design to cut leaves with serrated edges for artificial flowers.

I take exception to the first "review" of this product. The writer didn't even purchase them and is just complaining about the cost of shipping.
