Very poor quality....but I guess you get what you pay for. Over half of brushes came cracked or broke at the brush insert. Company was nice enough to ship another set to me...but those were just as bad. I ordered 100....received 200....but only have 40-50 useable brushes.

I got this primarily to punch holes in projects with because it could be used anywhere on a piece of paper.

It's probably one of the most used tools in my paper craft collection now. Inside the spring are two rods, one on each end. When you set the hole or the eyelet holding one end in place on the project you're working on, you pull up the other end and just let it drop. That causes the rods to hit each other and either punches the hole or sets the eyelet.

I do expect quality from Fiskars, but the simple design of this tool and how well it works impresses me. I've used the punch on 3mm laminate, on rubber (bicycle tire inner tubes) and of course on paper and card stock. It punches a nice clean hole almost every time. On laminate sometimes I need to trim part of the hole.

I never much used the eyelet end, but working with the recycled tire inner tubes sometimes I want to set an eyelet. I decided to try this out. It works so much nicer than the hammer/eyelet setter I was using. I can set the eyelet in place, hold the eyelet setter on it, and use my other hand to pull up the top of this. It's easy enough to get the setting perfectly centered without feeling like I need a 3rd hand for a hammer. Even with the heavier eyelets I use for the rubber (I use the sort used in leather crafting) it splits the eyelet neatly and sets it in place.

By far the only eyelet punch I have ever used that doesn't pinch your fingers or ruins the materials you're using, or requires another person to use that pesky hammer. It's simple to use and works on the first try.

While I love the ease of use of this tool, the cutting tip has lost its edge (pun intended). The tool does not come with a cutting mat, so I merely have used a piece of metal as the base. The tip has gotten very dull, and I have to now buy a new cutting tool, while the setting end is just fine. It's so easy to use that I can watch TV and passively punch holes into 300 gram paper, which are my product's hangtags. I use a straight pin to clear the cutting tool, which will get clogged with paper every 10+ punches.

Update as of Jan. 30, 2012: The tip of this tool eventually got dull, and I now just use a normal metal old-school style hole punch that has a special small 1/8" tip, so it creates the same size hole as the fiskars tool...

I read about this in a book on model railroad construction, but it took me a while to find. Then I suddenly found it in three places ... so I was not looking hard enough at first. It was worth finding. This stuff binds to styrofoam, which is a miracle by itself and it works like plaster and clay the best of both. It goes on easily with a tongue depressor or spatula and is easy to work. I immediately bought three more bags to use for a number of projects. It is also a lot less messy than mixing up a batch of hydrocal or plaster, although I still like using those in other situations. It is perfect for small to medium areas that need coverage, and it adhered hydrocal rocks to styrofoam, which is awesome.

I really like this product and plan to keep a good supply on hand ... for making war-gaming scenery, mountains, hills, rivers, rough terrain, etc. It is easy to use, can be mixed in small batches and is the least messy of a number of options, not to take anything away from the messier stuff. It is the easiest to make exactly what you want ... when plaster cloth or hydrocal might be overkill. And it works brilliantly with those two if you need to patch an area, attach a rock or build an outcropping onto a larger project you might have started with one or both of the other two.

I am a novice at doing scenery for my model train layout and have struggled to find a product that can be used conveniently to mold into shapes that look like rocky terrain. I have played around with plaster of paris and Hydrocal, both of which work nicely for pouring into molds, but kind of ooze all over the place when trying to make rocky terrain. Sculptamold is fantastic stuff! It is much neater to mix with water than the other products and is very easy to apply to the layout with little mess it stays where you put it and doesn't flow somewhere else. It takes more time than the other products to set up so it is more forgiving in that regard. The terrain that I have made looks much more realistic than I was able to achieve with the other products. It is fun to work with and I will be looking for other new ways to use it for my train layout.

Okay when I read the reviews on here, I got excited. Could it be that I had found a product better than DAS clay? And at a better price? NOT TO BE. This Amaco 'Sculptamold' is NOT 'clay-like' as one reviewer put it 'like clay and plaster-the best of both worlds'...the description reads as if this product is similar to Aves Apoxie Sculpt. You mix it, and depending on the amounts of powder to water, you can get a 'plaster' or a 'clay'. What you get no matter what is SLOP. And don't even try sculpting with it as it sets-I thought this may be possible given it's mushy consistency when first mixed-but what happens is it breaks off in small chunks. This product is ONLY good for plaster casts or 'molds'--and I don't even see it being good at THAT. For a pro sculptor who needs to create detail, this WILL NOT WORK. If you create childish lumpy projects-this may be for you. But you'll have a heck of a time getting it to work-and forget using it on an armature!!! As soon as I saw the product in the bag, I knew I was in trouble. It's not even a powder--but a dusty, recycled paper type of thing. I nearly RUINED a project I'm doing for someone. Well, that's what I get for trying to cut corners. I'm sticking to DAS clay-and the even better (albeit more expensive) Aves Apoxie Sculpt. I would have given this ZERO stars if possible-but I could not rate lower than 1 star. I'm asking Amazon for a refund...

This stuff was not what I expected. I was hoping for something more like cellu-clay, which I use at work with kids in art projects. This product has plaster in it and is hard to clean up, lumpy when dry. Not a fan.

well these are some really good markers, they have 2 different tips, so one tip feels like using a paint brush, the other like a normal marker, they are just really incredible markers...

only downside is there expensive as hell, alot for markers...but you get what you pay for...

hey, i just baught this copic set along with a few others and there really really super great. i was scared to be getting al these exspensive markers at first and blew them off for a while but im glad i finally gave in to these beautys. there really easy to get used to and they work almost like a paintbrush, not much of a pen feel (i tend to only use brush tip). the only thing i would want everyone to know is that the paper you use these markers on does matter. they work best with the copic marker pad. i tried it on regular paper and sketchbook paper and it makes the quality seem bad, also it bleeds really easy. but!!! these markers are one of the best things ive ever invested my money into and i would suggest it to anyone who has a passion for art (;

Badger Air-Opaque airbrush paints seem to do o.k. out of the bottle. I am a novice and have about 2 hours of experience. I used them through a Master S68 airbrush and I am not sure if having a .35 needle will require me to thin this paint to avoid the clogging problem I encountered.

Overall I would recommend these paints.

I used Coloraid in undergraduate school. I loved it. It's pure saturated color, a rainbow from the visible spectrum. It's sensual to work with: you can feel the paint on the paper. Each color evokes a different emotion. I looked it up just now to consider using it to teach, but it's too expensive when compared to digital technology. But if you can afford it enjoy it.

I paint almost every day and go through so many brushes. I purchased this 5 piece brush set and even though the handles look cheap, the brushes themselves are very good. I did not have any shedding of the brush hairs and had an even flow when using them to paint. I would buy these again, they are low cost and work well. My fiance and I are fortunate enough to have traveled to over 14 countries between us including the UK, Canada, South Africa, Grand Cayman, Jamaica and European countries such as Spain, France, and Italy. Due to our love of travel, we wanted to incorporate that into our wedding theme. These are much smaller than the "luggage labels" by the same company, but these come in a collectible tin. The quality is really good. They have a "cloth-like" texture (they are paper) and have a sense of vintage. For best effect pair these up with a set of vintage postal ink stamps and stamp them ("Cancelled") to make them look like the item you are stickering (package, for example) has actually traveled all over the world. Some of these may even have little fill in areas, as they are reminiscent of old tags (I have purchased several of these so it is a crap shoot). Definitely worth the price.
