I bought these to make geocaches and they worked perfect. Not expensive, just big enough for a log slip and easy to hide. They probably work good for anything you want to use them for.

I bought these based on the glowing reviews I read and found myself disappointed. Perhaps the product quality has declined since those reviews were written.The lids are poorly fitted, and they leak like sieves. They are possibly okay for beads or fishing flies, but they don't have the advertised "most secure closure." They certainly can't be used "to store art paint" or ground spices as the product description claims. Anything wet or powdery travels along the closure threads to the outside of the container. I can never use the ones I received for salves or balms as one reviewer did. Since it would cost more to ship them back than it cost to buy them, they aren't worth returning.
Edit addendum: I submitted a photo which demonstrated leakage (using "art paint"), but for some reason, my picture was deleted.
