I have purchased five of these machines to use with 4th thru 8th grade beginning sewing students. This machine has shown to be sturdy and all around easy to use with kids. I purchased this sewing machine for my daughter. It has a lot of features for the price. The amount of stitching options at the push of a button are amazing. The low price actually scared me. I thought we might be disappointed with what we received. Basically I purchased on trust because of the good reviews I'd read on this machine. Last Christmas my mom bought all 3 of us this sewing machine. Me (15) and my sisters (both 27) Since my sisters both are Beginner sewers, (from both lack of skill and lack of time regarding there family) this machine has been PERFECT for them. It was easy to teach them to use it, and after I got there tensions adjusted correctly, neither of them have had a problem with their machine since. But here is the thing, Even though I am 15, I am a HEAVY DUTY seamstress. I take great care of my machine, cleaning lint, oiling, keeping it covered, etc. But the projects I use my machine for are VERY frequent, and VERY intense. So after a years time, my machine is beginning to give up the ghost in comparison to my sisters machines.

My Auto-threader works fine, my spindle is also fine, as well as my throat plate and bobbin case; unlike some other reviews you may have read.

This machine is fabulous for beginner sewers, very tolerable and understandable user interface; and very flexible to a variety of projects.

BUT If you are like me, a heavy seamstress, and your dream is to work at Vogue like I,

I suggest investing in a machine that will last you a bit longer, because sometime within the year (around 18 months of age of my machine) I will be investing a new one that can tolerate me better.

This was my first experience with an airbrush kit. I had no difficulty using the kit since everything came pre assembled and was easy to use. The only thing is that since I began using the kit regularly, I now learn that it is easier (for example) to attach a 4 port manifold to use other airbrush at the same time.

i received this product excited to use it but some reason the airbrush didn't work. i tried cleaning it and everything imaginable. it can't even shoot out water or paint but only air. i tried contacting seller but they haven't respond. i went to harbor freight tools and bought a cheap airbrush for 15 bucks and it works great!

Great product and reasonable price. Good for christmas gift making. Just remember you need to also buy spray poly urethane to keep the colors fresh and protected from being absorbed into the canvas paper. Great value though.

Don't know if others will get the same but i received the dried ink pad. I expected to get very nice color ink pad but it turned out to be a dried one. Very disappointed.

Nearly all my pigment inks are Colorbox however, the chalk versions aren't really my faves. Maybe I'm more a fan of deeper, richer color (as the chalk colors are muted & washed out versions).

I do like the chalk colors for inking the edges of paper (creating a worn, antique look).

Unfortunately, I had to return the cat's eye chalk pads to Amazon because they were dried out. These aren't recommended for storage in hot warehouses (plus the smaller ink pad area tends to dry out anyway).

I would by these again depending on how badly I need a color (along with the refill/re-inking bottles), but I likely won't buy these from Amazon. Instead, I may buy from a scrapbooking store.

Its the Sizzix embosser that I really don't like. It's too hard to get the folders moving through the machine with the rotating arm & then you need to make sure you have a good cardstock otherwise the process will tear up your paper.

Discount Butterfly Rubber Stamp Set By Cavallini & Co.

As a professional crafter with a business of my own, I often use rubber stamps. Cavallini's are beautiful stamps in a charming tin case mounted on lovely wood blocks. The problem? Any crafter with rubber stamping experience will take one look at Cavallini's stamps and see the problem: they lack the foam portion between the block & the stamp itself. The foam is an important detail, necessary to create a stamp that distributes pressure evenly. In layman's terms, it can be very difficult at times to get the entire image stamped. When I use Cavallini's stamps, often the center of the image doesn't imprint. Very frustrating. I also have found the ink pad included to be equally worthless, mine were dry and useless when I got them.

Cavallini & Co., you need to redesign your stamps to be like the ones they sell in craft stores: they need the foam! Otherwise half the time they're worthless. I've honestly never seen stamps sold without the foam portion, so it's pretty surprising Cavallini had the gall to produce and sell these for $25 a set when they're so obviously lacking in quality!

These stamps are attractive and well-made. However, one stamp is a butterly with words behind it, another is of two small butterflies together. It's as is shown on the cover, but I was surprised. Also, each stamp has a small number on it as well as the butterfly. I was able to cut off the numbers and the unwanted words, but it did take some time.

I got this easel because I am taking acrylic painting classes and i wanted something lightweight and easy to carry. In the classes, i am generally are working on 9x12 canvas boards, or maybe 11x14 max, so this is a great size for those boards. I really only cared about the easel, but this one has the handle and little drawer, and came with the wood palette, and even a pack of three brushes...and i got it for a ridiculously low price compared to what I've seen it for since here and on other sites. It is unfinished, but smooth, soft pine, and the hinges and fasteners are small and soft metal. But it has done me well for 7-8 classes so far and it's still in great condition. I don't carry anything in it except maybe some parchment paper, and I generally have it in a rolling bag with the rest of my art supplies. I would recommend waiting for it to go on sale (@$20.00 max) and then if you take care of it, i think it will last a long time and is well worth it.

I bought these for my wedding, they will work great, however once you see how easy they are to make you wonder if the cost was worth it when you include shipping. That being said, if you are not crafty or are slammed for time these work great and are easy to assemble. Does exactly what you'd expect! Its plastic slider is nice and firm, so you don't have to worry about it sliding around. It's pretty lightweight and probably won't last exceedingly long, but for that price, that's fine. This has been invaluable for adding seam allowances and otherwise measuring tricky little things.

I bought this to replace an old (cheap) gauge I kept for years. I could hardly read the numbers and the thing was bent! What a great improvement this was for under $5!! I love it! It's easy to read and has cut out marks at each inch, making it even easier to read. It's very well made.
