While it may not have a ton of colors, this is a good set to get you started with using Copic markers. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is because I've come to realize I'm not a huge fan of the chisel tips, and would've preferred the super brush tips instead (which can be found with the 12-piece Basic Sketch Set). So, if you like big chisel tip markers, these are definitely for you. Otherwise, go with the Sketch Set (http://www.amazon.com/Copic-Markers-12-Piece-Sketch-Basic/dp/B000MRR3GU/ref=pd_luc_qp_03_04_t_lh?ie=UTF8&psc=1).

I am an amateur watercolorist at an intermediate level (most days). These brushes keep their shape, hold a great deal of water for a synthetic of their size and have become part of my workhorse brushes when I need precision and juicy color. I have now bought larger rounds and flats of the same style because of my successes with them. I highly reccommend them and they are at a great price point, can't be beat. And I really do scour the internet for good prices. I primarily paint semi figurative abstracts and portraits.

good snap, holds water and paint well. Have not tried other natural or any other synthetic brand before so cant compare. but this is fun

I use these on my 1/2 inch foam gator boards. They do a great job. They might be a bit long for 3/8th of an inch boards.

These things are great! I use them to hang wood framed bulletin boards and dry erase boards, and they work really well much better than the hardware that the boards come with. With these, I just use a cordless drill to install the hooks, then nail the nail into the wall, and hang. Simple and easy. I highly recommend.

Best 100 Steel Split Rings Key Chain Connector Parts 20mm Deals

Customer Ratings:

got these rings because i have more keys than the key maker, including a lot that are single copies that i need to lend to people for various reasons. i had planned to put one key to a ring and put them on a big clip or something similar. these rings worked fine for smaller keys, but anything that was a little thicker caused the rings to stretch and then not return to the original shape. i still have a bunch left, and learned my lesson, will pay a bit more for nicer ones next time.

I am new at acrylic painting, wish the greying was less but loved the outcome. would love some that simply had the outlines, without the grey

I purchased this with some apprehension, as any painter knows there is a large range of quality in any painting supplies, from extremely poor to excellent. I am now happy to say it is a great buy. It is not what you would consider to be premium quality, but certainly not poor quality either. It terms of value for the price, I was pleasantly surprised. More than reasonable cost for everything that is included. Everything I needed is included, instructions are easy to follow are detailed, and final painting is lovely. The project is suitable for any painting skill level. I did use different brushes than the ones provided, but this is a simply because of personal preference, not any problem with the brushes that are included.

This is a 1-inch wide mat with white core; fine for 4"x6" photos. They aren't up to what I consider professional artist standards, but I bought these to mount my 4x6 watercolor studies, for which they're adequate. The thin cardboard backing does not appear to be acid free but is coated on both sides; the back of the mat itself is also coated. And the clear envelopes both fit and seal perfectly.

Shipping from Golden State Art was prompt; I have no issues with their service.

Discount Clay Shaper Set : 6 Piece Set

Customer Ratings:

There are some tiny deformities in the rubber that I have to work around. That only matters because I work in miniatures. For a larger peice I probably wouldn't even notice. I'm really enjoying experimenting with them, a lot more subtlety to use than rigid metal tools.

Great product. Wonderful price. These work well with pastels and blending color pencils. A multiple use tool. Since I did not need them quickly the 2 week wait was not a problem.

These pens are great! They show up vividly on dark paper. The ink is smooth. They are a joy to use. I will be buying these again.

I like these markers. They have both fine and thick points. Where I have difficulty is how they read on the paper being used. On some papers they are metallic and the colors are true to the pen color. Unfortunately on some papers (my favorite blank card paper) the colors are not true.

DO not buy these UNLESS you like a messy drippy goop when you take off the covers! CHEAP sure, because you have to throw some away, that lasted like two uses!

Honest reviews on American Crafts 18-Pack Extreme Value Metallic Markers

Half of the markers that came in this pack were dried out. I wouldn't repurchase these ever. It came in a nice folded plastic case but that is all that was surprisingly good about it.

These were suggested by another artist, so I thought I'd try them. They were right. It's a very convenient way to have color when your doing a "Sketch Crawl" around town. The colors are not true to the colors of the lids. I could wish there was a true golden color, but there isn't. The colors come out much darker than the lids. If you want to do any blending or lighten them for a wash, you'll have to have some water at hand. Wet into wet is best to get attenuated colors or washes. These dry quickly. On the package it shows a golden field, and I have yet to achieve that particular color. They are GOOD colors, but you MUST have water at hand to lighten them because they are deep colors. I am considering the Portrait set.

The two different ends are a great advantage. One end is brush-like and the other is more like a medium point pen.

as you may have seen me rate this item and or others of the same brand. all i can say now is, they are great pens. i've bought all the colors over the years and will continue do do so. there are some others, (and you know who they are) but these offer more colors and duo tips. they work with water and alcohal. i get a great look on all my art. TIP; Remember to store all pens horozontal so inks don't settle to one end, and what end is up will dry out. Now, go PLAY

I cannot put these pens downI have been drawing with them all weekend long and continue to find new ways to use them. The tips are self cleaningso I can blend colors without the fear of ruining the markersand the colors are vibrant!

A few where still wet and could be used. Most were dry. I got sold a stale, past shelf life product. :-(

Did not bother to return. Too much hassle.

I also was hesitant to purchase these due to some of the feedback, but couldn't resist the price. The glasses showed up quickly and look lovely, just as I expected. The stems are a slightly different width but in my case the Grooms stem is thicker which works for me. I would absolutely recommend for Brides on a budget, the product is perfect for my January wedding!
