These markers are very nice and blend pretty decently but if you are doing large drawings and want to color them in, there will be streaks. But on smaller pictures there are no streaks. I also like the tips of the markers, it does feel kind of like painting.

First of all, this pack comes with 9 facial colors ranging from a pale yellow to black. It also comes with 1 BlendiePen. The marker has two points, a medium brush head and a "fine" tip (I used quotations because I'm still new at this and I may be proven wrong in the future).

I used these markers almost as soon as I got them. I didn't use them on my good finished sketches, but instead scribled a quick face to try the new pens out. I'm glad I did. I inked in the boarder lines on one side and was happy to see it not only dry quickly but not bleed through my paper. I then proceeded to color the rest of the drawing while checking intermediatly for bleeding, drying rate, etc. I proceeded to do this until it was finished. I wasn't exactly thrilled with the results (Although, as I've mentioned, I am new at this and my technique may be off.) The ink never did bleed through my paper and all the ink dried fast...a little to fast for me. I ended up with a more than streaky result. It reminded me of when I would use the Crayola Washables. I tried blending the colors to counter this but didn't get very far.

I scribled another face and inked it with a different set. This time I only used it for detail work and it worked great! Of course detail work is short fast strokes but in this case the BlendiePen really shined.

I don't know if I'll be ordering again, or anytime soon at least. This company has many other sets available but after this expirience I will have more caution. Words of wisdom: Everybody has a place. Even a marker whose purpose was not found the first time. :)

This is a really cool product. I mixed together a few of the colors to make green, purple, and pink, giving me a total of 6 colors to play with. If you add a little water to them, the color won't be quite so intense, and you get much more dye out of the pack. The paint dries super fast and after a quick trip in the dryer, you're all done. it was a very clean, very simple, and very fun project.

I wanted to dye shirts for my kids to wear to Disney World so I can keep track of them. This is the kit I decided on, mainly because of price at the time. The kit ended up being a good choice for a few reasons. One it is cold here. There is a foot of snow on the ground. Tie Dye is something I usually do outside only, but given the conditions I had not much choice. I was not looking forward to the idea of a container of dye and drippy soaking T-shirts, soda ash soaking etc. But this kit you can use with dry shirts. That being said I know that you MUST MUST MUST always pre-wash and dry your shirts before you start. If you do not many times the sizing that keep the shirts looking new and fresh in the store also keeps dye from staying on the shirt.

This is a review for only the red blue and yellow dye on the shirts. The purple and black is another brand of fabric spray paint.

So I started with pre-washed and dried shirts. Did my spraying on the kitchen counter covered with a thick layer of plastic table cloth. The shirt on the right I sprayed in all my twists and folds and tried to saturate as much as I could with the spray bottle. It looks most like traditional spiral tie dye.

The middle I did some light chrunching and spraying, then refolding so white was exposed and spray again. This spray color does not soak too much through folds so only the white parts exposed end up dyed, unless you spray in the folds. You can tell on this middle shirt that there is a look of sprayed dye in spots. It is just a differnt look.

Now as far as 18 shirts? Not likely. Maybe if you did a little design in the middle of 18 shirts. But one of the colors I used, I ended up using the entire bottle on just these three kids shirts, size one extra small, and two size small.

That being said... I am still more than happy with how the product worked for this project. I sprayed the shirts. Let them dry, took out all rubber bands if there was any. Then let air dry again to make sure it was completely dry. Then tossed them dry, into the dryer to heat seal the color in. I was worried about other reviews who said color washed out. Not so... the color was just as vibrant after I washed them in cold water and detergent, and dried them. I was pumped to see how BRIGHT the colors were still. Not the case when I used other dunk dye methods in the past.

The shirts are ready to go! So I am super happy.

It is a newer medium as far as the spray method goes. You have to work and play with it. I do consider myself a bit on the crafty side. Little kids elementary age, may have a difficult time with the spray nossle, I didn't have too much trouble with it, but can see how a young kid may.

Clean up was nice. It washed off my counter easily with just water, where it happened to overspray. But yes you will have colored fingernail creases, and hands for a day or two if you do not wear gloves. But that too didn't last too long, and I really get my hands into working with the shirts when I make them.

We've purchased several SEI tie-dye kits since we tried out the first one and fell in love with them. They are so easy to use. There is no mixing involved. You don't need buckets. You simply tie up your shirts and spray them. The pump is similar to a hair spray pump so it may be a little difficult for younger kids. My 5 yo can do it with a little assistance.

The shirts come out great if you wet them before putting on the rubber bands. LET THEM DRY COMPLETELY before removing the rubber bands. Then you simply throw them in the dryer and they are ready to wear. Even after a few washes the colors are still vibrant.

If you are looking for the quickest, easiest and cleanest method of tie dying I highly recommend this product. I'd suggest using rubber gloves and spraying the shirts on a piece of cardboard and letting them dry there (or in a plastic bag). That way there is little to no clean up. You can make a few shirts (and clean up after them) in just a few minutes.

My lady is doing a little tie dye project for her fellow bridesmaids and asked me to buy her a tie dye kit. i bought this one. it was really easy to use and made far less of a mess than your conventional tie dye kit, but don't even think about being able to use this kit for 15 shirts like it advertises on the package. it could do that if you wanted to use a few squirts per shirt but trust me, if you want the color of the typical tie dye shirt you'll need to use half to a full bottle of this stuff to achieve it. then again, if you only want to do a shirt or two or a pair of socks or something this stuff worked great! harder to get the spiral and other patterns though... since this is a dry kit and those designs work best cause the dye runs with water.

The product I received (the one pictured in the photo) is a GREAT product. The stencils are thick plastic (as opposed to the vellum/acetate ones that are made for home decor/craft projects and sold in craft stores) and the size of very large index cards.

Each stencil sheet contains numerous imageseverything from sealife to animals to decorative objects to flowers to fairy tale objects to transportation to letters to numbers. While the individual images are small (1-3 inchesdefinitely will not fill up a whole sheet of paper), they are detailed and very easy to trace around and transfer to paper. My five year old was THRILLED with this box and much prefers it to any of the $2-5 each stencil sheets I have purchased for her.

I highly recommend this for anyone with young children. If you need super thick stencils, try the Melissa and Doug ones made from wood. My daughter has those, toobut they are SO thick that she has a hard time getting her pencil in all the nooks crannies to accurately trace the object. I honestly think these are the best stencils out there for kids and I have looked all over town for something similar to add to my daughter's collection and can't find anything like it.

The set comes with 24 translucent stencils, about the size of a 4x6 index card. They are made of thick plastic that will stand up with a lot of use. There are a few stencils that you look at and wonder for a few seconds just what exactly it is, like the cornucopia, but fortunately these are rare. There seem to be a lot of mixed reviews on this product, though overall customers seem very satisfied, but here's the real lowdown from a former teacher who bought this set for a grandchildren's craft box I was doing up for Christmas. Yes, this product was a teacher freebie for sending home Highlights subscription forms. But unless you can figure a way to get it free, go ahead and spend the money, because it has been the best set of stencils I ever added to my classroom. After 15 years of regular use, the box/handle and all the stencils were still going strong. And believe me, the set had been knocked around a lot over the years. Children never tire of creating pictures with the huge variety of stencil shapes in this box. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon after scouring the stores and searching online for stencils to include in the craft box I was putting together. And no craft box could be complete without stencils to trace in their artwork creations. It's small size makes it easy to store, and the handle means they can carry it along on trips or around the house. Perfect for any age elementary child. My personal box was used with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders, and all these ages would rush to get these whenever they had free time or inside recess. Don't listen to people nit picking about how close the designs are to each other on each stencil card, or the quality of the box. You will not be disappointed. Take it from someone who had and used a set like this for years. It will last far longer than it is used if you are getting it for your own children. Teachers... grab it at this price, or get it free through Highlights. Either way, you'll be glad to have it.

I ordered this to make ornaments for my daughters, but I had a harder time sorting the colors than I thought. For instance, "palest coral" and "pale coral" are incredibly similar in color to "light peach." Some colors were barely distinguishable ("charcoal" and "dark grey") and even second opinions didn't help.

Some colors seemed to be missing while the kit included colors that weren't listed (6 yards of cream, not to be confused with 22 yards of white). The material seems to be an end piece, so I hope there is enough to make all the ornaments without having to buy any more.

The instructions don't include the assembly step (and there are no materials for hanging the ornaments...no ribbon, string, duct tape, anything).

It would probably be easier to buy the kits for individual ornaments.

The kit includes items stated, but the thread is not sorted and the thread chart is not in color nor are the patterns in color. The color numbers are not all from the same manufacturer so trying to figure out what is meant to go where is a royal pain. I have mostly used solvent-based paints for airbrushing and recently gained more interest in painting on poster board with water based paints. The only water based paint i have used is Createx and some Badger paints that came with my 1st airbrush. The Badger paints seemed to work well. I don't like how easy the Createx paints seem to clog my gun, especially white, of course, it has more pigments. So after some researching online, i decided to try Golden's Acrylic Opaques. Although i have not used them as much as i would like to have, i noticed from the first time spraying them that they spray a lot better than Createx. I definently recommend them.

I bought one of these sets for my mother who sews a lot and 1 for myself. I am very happy with my purchase. My mother said she liked it and needed it. I used it to make some bias tape for stretch knit material and it worked as I hoped it would. I used spray starch (.97 cents Walmart) on the material before sending it through the bias maker. I thought about purchasing the Singer bias tape maker, but couldnt see paying 49.99 for the set-up and then having to purchase different sized tips. These were suggested by another artist, so I thought I'd try them. They were right. It's a very convenient way to have color when your doing a "Sketch Crawl" around town. The colors are not true to the colors of the lids. I could wish there was a true golden color, but there isn't. The colors come out much darker than the lids. If you want to do any blending or lighten them for a wash, you'll have to have some water at hand. Wet into wet is best to get attenuated colors or washes. These dry quickly. On the package it shows a golden field, and I have yet to achieve that particular color. They are GOOD colors, but you MUST have water at hand to lighten them because they are deep colors. I am considering the Portrait set.

The two different ends are a great advantage. One end is brush-like and the other is more like a medium point pen.

as you may have seen me rate this item and or others of the same brand. all i can say now is, they are great pens. i've bought all the colors over the years and will continue do do so. there are some others, (and you know who they are) but these offer more colors and duo tips. they work with water and alcohal. i get a great look on all my art. TIP; Remember to store all pens horozontal so inks don't settle to one end, and what end is up will dry out. Now, go PLAY
