It's a good starter set, I think it has the shapes you need to try and decide if you like this kind of work, at a very affordable price by the way. You need different pressure with every tool, though. So, it's important to practice in a piece of leather similar to the one of your project, because you can get an image barely noticeable or you can cut the leather depending on which tool you have used, and always with about the same intensity of hammer hit. That would mean 4 stars if I would have received the whole set. The knife was missing, they couldn't dispatch only the knife, so I had to decide whether I return the whole set or to receive a percentage of what I paid. I chose to keep what I got, because I did need some of the tools before holidays. At least they offered these options very quickly.

This tool may be the classic case of the Walmartization of America. Give a cheap price and receive cheap Asian crap!

The tools are cast and not solid steel. 2 of the tools started bending 1/2 way thru my belt embossing project and eventually broke.

If you tap the stamp lightly it may last longer, but you won't get the deep imprint in the leather that will stand out after staining and antiquing.

Our kids have enjoyed using this product, it is durable, and a great creative toy. Lots of small parts, so you need a tote or something to keep them in so they don't get lost.

I received the product quickly and it was a great value. I would buy this product again from this seller.

Honest reviews on Lifestyle Crafts Nesting Scallops Die Set

What a nice surprise! You can't tell from the product picture, but these don't have the cutting ridge right at the edge of the die, just like Spellbinders' dies. So there is a little lip that can emboss the edge of the shape, which I think makes a more finished look.

I was so excited to receive this in such a sort amount of time! 15 dies in graduating sizes and the price it great. I am finding that the scalloped edge on the smaller dies isn't a very deep scallop. More like a wave than a scallop. I feel that it will probable still be OK for my projects.

But I am giving it 1 less stars because they are smaller than the ones I purchase here in the US. They are probably about half the size. Not a bad deal, just feel folks should know.

I am a professional pastel portrait artist and the unisons are my pastel of choice with unparalleled colors.

They were fine, but I ended up getting a set of plastic ones so that they would hold up better. This set is pretty light-weight cardboard.

It is possible that I just don't know how to stencil and it is possible I didn't have enough patience and applied too much paint at once, but I ended up with paint bleeding under the stencil and the stencil soaked up paint so they were really only useable one time.

Best Deals for Plaid:Craft - Mailbox Letter Stencils - Genie Letter

Nice stencils but the plastic is thin; would like to see them thicker. I have used them on burlap which works well but concerned on other surfaces where running can occur. I'd definitely use a removable adhesive to attach them. The letters are nice, the style good and I like the "old"look.

We had originally gotten a set of these stencils at a big box store they do not carry them and we needed to replace. Glad we found these at a decent price.

Reviews of Denise Interchangeable Crochet Hook Kit

Customer Ratings:

I love these! I love to crochet and knit. I have the interchangable knitting hooks and love them as well. When I saw the crochet interchangable hooks I knew I had to have them as well and am so glad I purchased them. They are smooth, easy to work with and makes crocheting very easy. I highly recomend them and know you will love them as well.

I am just learnig Tunisian crochet and already have a book to learn Tunisian lace stitches. Since I already knit and crochet, this is easy and fun. Since Tunisian crochet is so dense, you really need to make samples to check your gauge, which I never bothered with in regular crochet. Because of this you may need 2 or 3 needle sizes for just one project. Then you need a hook as long of the piece is wide. If you do not want to buy a ton of hooks with all different sizes and lengths to make everything from a coaster to a blanket, you need this set of hooks and extensions. If you do not know Tunisian crochet, you work each row twice, first picking up stiches that look like the stiches on a knitting needle, then crocheting them off. I found these easy to join together and use.

The Denise Interchangeable Crochet Hook Kit is wonderful for those of us who love Tunisian work. I had wanted the set for the longest time and finally broke down and ordered it. I am so glad I did. It's lovely to have the options of cord length and be able to have them be as short or as long as needed. This is an essential for any dedicated crocheters tool kit.

I've been crocheting for several years but just recently started to learn Tunisian crochet and this collection of crochet hooks is perfect for just that. A great purchase and a quality product.

I see what the other reviewer meant now. The arms, scarves, hats, bows, etc are in this die but one must also purchase the circles die to complete the design---or just cut out circles without a die. The description doesn't point this out. I only figured it out by browsing other dies. This isn't the seller's fault, but rather Accuquilt for not clearly stating that on the picture of the snowmen. Also, the text description on Amazon is generic to all Accuquilt dies, not any one specific die, which isn't that helpful Turns out to be pretty spendy Snowmen. Rating is 4 due to issue of having to buy the two, and is not based on the quality of the product. The dies are a blast and well made.

Accuquilt GO Cutter, Holiday. What can I say about the Snowman that wasn't. All you get is bows, no circles so, I think it stinks that they do it this way so you have to buy the snowman separate, but it is a huge gain on their part so it is what it is.

100 lb Picture Hangers, Supports up to 100 Pounds, Set of 10 (10 Review

Customer Ratings:

We have a lot of pictures, paintings, and just simply "stuff" hanging on our walls. I am constantly hanging, rearranging adding and removing. The task seems to be endless. Due to this I have stashes of these hangers of every different size I can lay my hands on in my storage units. I hate it when I have a project and do not have the stuff I need on hand. I have been using these hangers, one size or another, for years now and have never been dissatisfied.

Do not that these hangers are rather large and the nails that come with them are large. If you are a renter (we are not), then you need to be aware that when you remove these you will have a significant hole in the wall which will need filler.

These hangers work on the old plaster walls, sheet rock and wood. They are stout and while I have no 100 pound items hanging from these I do have some pretty heavy stuff. I use these large hangers for my arrowhead collections which I have framed with heavy wood and glass fronting. I also have several antique guns hanging in my office and antique swords. These hangers, along with wire, are ideal.

I recently purchased another pack of these things to replenish my supply and I must tell you that I was a bit miffed when I came here on Amazon and found that by using my Prime I could have saved myself about 1.25. That is not much, I grant you, but every cent counts these days. This is a mistake I will not be making again.

Anyway, this is a good product and does the job you pay it to do.

Reviews of Set of 2 - Old Fashioned Tin Tall French Market Flower Buckets 13"

Customer Ratings:

I ordered 1 pair, was so impressed ordered a second set. Very nicely made. Used them for a bridal shower. Had battery operated LED branches, tall white silk forsythia branches, weighted with sand. They were stunning. Air them out a few days, have some kind of oil to protect them. I see using them over and over again. So classic and well made. Reasonably priced too, much higher end than would expect to find at usual arts and crafts store.

Cheap Yarka Gouache set of 12

Customer Ratings:
List Price: $21.95
Sale Price: $9.99

Yarka gouache is a good for the money. It has strong pigment. Not a great lightfastness of the colors. It is very opaque; pencil drawing does not show through the paint. It does not leave streaks of color but leaves round spots when you cover a large area. It is safe for kids, ACMI non-toxic.

The jars are very difficult to open and when you do open it, the paint often splashes. After paint dries it becomes much lighter. The thickness of the paint is inconsistent. Black is more watery than other colors. Yarka is far from professional quality.

I am very upset, that the seller thinks that the consumer would not know the difference between the paints made in Russia and the paints made in China!!!, and has the nerve to show and describe one, but send the other (also has a picture of Parrots!).

Here is a part of the description of Yarka Gouache:

"The same Moscow artist paint factory which makes the student watercolor sets also manufactures the Yarka gouache set. Each of the twelve gouache colors comes in 40ml plastic jars. Yarka gouache is serious quality........"

So, the productI have nothing against, and will still get it (elsewhere). It's the seller's practices that I rate so poorly, unless they tell me that they made an innocent mistake, confused by the picture of the Parrots...I'll follow up on that with another review after I contact them.

What a disappointment and a waste of my TIME!

The paint is nice to work with. It's not dry. The only problem i have is: that white color is running out much faster then others. I would be happy to buy it separately.
