Cheap Bead Retreat Ready, Set, Go Necklace Kit
This necklace is so easy to make. I am usually clueless when it comes to making jewelry and usually have my mom or sister do it for me but I was able to make this necklace in about 10 minutes. Very easy to make. I love it and get so many compliments on it. It is a very strong chain as my 4 month old loves to pull on it. Bead Retreat makes beautiful designs. I own about 10 of their bracelets and none of them have ever broken and I wear them all the time. I get so many compliments on their jewelry. I love Bead Retreat. Very good directions and wonderful customer service.

Up until I got these handy gadgets, I had generally avoided making pom-poms. Now that I have these, I'm back in love with pom-poms.
Using cardboard as my base was tricky, because the cardboard sometimes bent if it wasn't stiff enough or it would snag the yarn as I tried to remove the yarn from the cardboard.
I've also used the Lion Brand donut-shaped pom-pom makers, which work well, but looping the yarn through the center of the makers can be tedious, because you can't do it in one fluid wrapping motion as you can using a cardboard "maker".
So along comes the Clover pom-pom makers using the best of both worlds....1) fluid wrapping of yarn and 2) ease of removing the pom-pom. Not only that, it has a way of indicating when you have wrapped enough yarn...you simply fill up the C-shaped "arms". No more wimpy-looking pom-poms.
The Clover makers work similarly to the donut-shaped makers, in that two pieces are held and wrapped together with yarn, then the yarn is cut between the pieces and pulled apart. But the Clover gadgets differ from the donut-shaped makers in that there are two "half donuts" (or arms) to wrap. The two halves are snapped closed before cutting the yarn to form the finished pom-pom. Sounds strange, but it works really well.
I highly recommend checking out Cloverneedlecraft's "how to" video on YouTube. Also I recommend use of small sharp scissors for cutting the pom-pom yarn.
I have bought both the Large set and the Small set of makers, which gives me four different sizes to play with. Back in love with pom-poms.

I happened upon a Youtube video for this pompom maker. She made it look so easy, that I decided that I needed one. Before using this, I used cardboard cutout circles to make my pompoms. The device can be a little squirrelly when first beginning to wrap the arms, it was a little difficult to keep both sides of the device even and together. I will say that it was still much faster than using the cardboard. I think it works better if you wrap the arms more than 3 times, but that makes a really tight puff and not a very loose one. The less yarn you use, the more likely the strands are to come out of the device before you can tie the string around them. I did struggle to get the tie tight on the first pompom, even though i thought I had it tight enough...I feel like there is a bit of a learning curve to using this with ease, but if you make a lot of pompoms, this is absolutely worth it...

I received this quilting frame from the Grace Company in about two weeks, it came pretty fast and was brought by the UPS. It was packaged very well, with no damage to the wood. The wood is beautiful and my husband is still in the staining stage which is taking sometime do to our funky weather lately but it look very beautiful. I can't comment on the quilting stage yet as I haven't got it put together yet maybe, he will have it together soon and I can give it a full review but I can say that I have waited on this frame for a long, long time and it will be put to good use. Advanced Series En Plein Air Pro Watercolor Package Review
I have been using En Plein Air Pro Watercolor Easel for half a year now. I still love it almost as much as I did on the day it arrived but I have a bit more perspective on its advantages, disadvantages and uses. So here we go:
Pros:
-Very lightweight (the easel proper, not counting tripod and shelf, is 1lb. 5oz)
-Extremely quick and easy to set up
-Fits onto any tripod via a standard tripod mount
-Thanks to that, you can manipulate the angle of the board any way you like
-You can buy the whole package with the easel, tripod, palette shelf, and carrying bag, or pick and choose among any of these. Since I already had a decent tripod (Slik Heavy-Duty Tripod with 3-Way Fluid-Effect Head and Built-In Bubble Level), I bought the easel attachment and the shelf.
-Fits into most backpacks, which means that your entire plein air setup can be carried in one backpack (the tripod can either go inside the backpack or be attached with straps outside).
-Both the easel and the shelf have holes for holding your brushes
-Despite being so thin and lightweight, the easel is actually relatively sturdy. It is made out of ABS plastic, which you can bend a little but so far, it has stayed flat and straight.
-Has a lip on the bottom, so you can just prop up a sketchbook or sheet of paper against it without attaching it to the board
-Has a hook for hanging a water container nice idea, but this is also going to the "cons" section below
-Compared to the heavy french easels with all of their paraphernalia, En Plein Air Pro just looks cool. Anytime I paint outside with some new people, somebody asks me about the easel.
Cons:
-The above mentioned hook for the water container is on the bottom right, which makes the easel board bend and lean that way whenever a normal size water bucket (like the popular collapsible water jar) is hanging from it. I usually just put the water container in the middle of my John Pike Watercolor Palette which sits on the shelf. It looks like the Original Series easel has the hook in the middle. I'm guessing, the hanging water container was interfering with the user's ability to reach into the back of the shelf/palette, so they moved the hook to the side. The new Advanced Series Plein Air Pro palette shelf lets you put the water under the shelf, so you don't have to worry about those hooks at all.
-Since this is a portable easel, you should probably expect to be limited in your choice of painting surface sizes. In the case of this easel, anything taller than 16-17 inches feels too big. It is definitely awkward to work on something like a vertical 16×20 piece.
-Because of the angle of the tripod legs, the shelf is tilted back, towards the center of the tripod, when all three legs are extended the same amount. To correct that, I make the rear leg longer, so that the whole tripod is leaning forward. This makes the shelf level but at the expense of shifting the tripod balance. I have had it topple over at the slightest touch of my 2-year-old. (Tip. Keep those toddlers away from your easels...especially if there is something on the easels that you care about). It looks like the Advanced Series palette shelf also fixes the tilting issue by introducing adjustable tabs.
-Umbrellas for plein air are not likely to work with this kind of setup. It would just be too heavy and throw the balance to the wind. But then, I don't even own an umbrella.
As with most portable setups, you have to watch out for that wind I just mentioned and weigh the tripod down. You also need to tighten the tripod mount screw quite well before attaching the easel to the tripod otherwise, the board develops the tendency to slowly but surely rotate counterclockwise.
Because of the portability and flexibility, I use En Plein Air Pro more than my studio easel. I take it outside, I bring it to my classes, and I paint on it at home. If I didn't already have a large palette, I would likely get the Advanced palette shelf.
The easel is lightweight, my number one concern, Adjusts to different heights for sitting and standing, my number 2 concern. I can adjust every single part of the set up to accommodate my needs at the moment.
The bag makes it easy to transport, fits what supplies I need to bring along with a snack and some beverage for me, water for painting, bungees and bug spray.
They tray can not take too much weight or a great deal of pressure but that shouldn't be an issue for most.
I love it.

I have not had much opportunity to paint with this product so please consider my review a supplement to what the previous reviewer has already stated. The tripod easel that comes with this package is an above-average quality "camera" tripod. Like most camera tripods made today, there are a lot of plastic parts that cannot be forced or they will break. Because it is a camera tripod, there are endless ways that the easel can be tilted and it does take more time to set up than a traditional artist's easel. It is not mentioned in the product description that the Advanced Series En Plein Air Pro Watercolor Package also comes with a camera "shoe" so I can easily use the tripod with my camera to take a picture of the landscape before I leave and at the same perspective of my composition. The tripod also comes with it's own manufacturer's warranty, bubble level and travel case. The tripod adjusts to a comfortable height for a tall person or sitting on the ground or in a camping chair. The larger travel case for the entire package is generously-sized to hold the shelf, palette and tripod with plenty of room for the rest of my art supplies, camera and snacks. It is nicely embroidered with the product name, too. I plan on using the easel, shelf and palette in my studio but with my higher quality Bogen Manfrotto tripod with lockable dolly. Saw this in a catalog for more money and wanted to see it in person before I put that much money into an easel. An art store (Jerry's) told me they would get one in and never did, eventually misplaced the catalog with the name of the easel and could not find it anywhere. THEN found it for less here on Amazon, ordered it and am so glad I waited.The easel is lightweight, my number one concern, Adjusts to different heights for sitting and standing, my number 2 concern. Buy 100 Large Spools Embroidery Machine Thread WHOLESALE
I purchased this thread based on the variety of colors, it seemed a great value for the price. Shipping time and packaging were as described. My main issue is that the threads DON'T FIT on the embroidery thread rack that they're sold with. My brother purchased the rack from my wishlist as a birthday gift, it's the exact rack pictured. The base of the spools are too wide, the pegs are too close together. I have to take 3 spools off the rack to get the one color I need. I have yet to find another rack anywhere that will hold 100+ spools so I guess I'm stuck with it. Had I known they wouldn't fit I would have purchased multiple smaller racks locally, taking my thread spools to ensure they fit properly.
As far as the actual thread quality, it's just decent. Not spectacular. My business partner purchased the smaller bundle and ended up having to return it. The thread frayed, broke and got stuck in her machine. We even tried her thread on my machine and it did the same exact thing. I haven't had quite as many issues with my thread but I'm extremely nervous that once I dive into more colors I'll have the same results.
Bottom line: You get what you pay for, it's cheap for a reason. Don't waste your money on the thread rack, invest in other storage options. That being said the company did meet my expectations for shipping and customer service so that's a plus!
We do hemming and alterations for a local boutique, along with the embroidery, and the color palette will greatly improve the chances of matching some of the "unique" colors that are currently in fashion. Thanks for providing a great product for an extremely affordable price.
If the thread performs as well as the supplier, we will definitely be repeat customers.

I've tested out the thread, it stitches well w/ no breaks. My only complaint is there isn't a notch in the spools to hook the thread onto after use. I made a little snip in the bottom lip of the spools to fix this, no biggie. Overall a good deal, will buy again. Hope this helps someone else who is not sure about purchasing this item.

Thread was received promptly and was exactly as described. Imagine my surprise when my pkg. arrived just 3 days after ordering. I've looked over the thread and I love the color variety, but haven't actually tested it out on my sorta picky Brother PE 770. If it doesnt stitch well, I'll update my review. That being said, so far I'm impressed with the variety and quantity of thread in this asst. for the price. I'm not a thread snob and I'm finding that the world of home embroidery requires somewhat of an investment, so if this thread works out I'll probably be back for more.**Update**
