Purchased these for a navy blue slim fit double breasted blazer and the buttons really pop! The American Eagle design is a small detail that makes a big difference as it adds an extra element of class that's very noticeable. I receive plenty of compliments and even all the ladies at my tailor shop raved about them. From looking at the picture I thought they'd have a cheesy brass look but not the case. They look more gold and feel very sturdy. Definitely worth the investment.

I bought one bag of silver and one bag of gold tone. They are not as pictured, the clear plastic is round and not flat and is very slippery. It easily slips right off the glasses. The metal wrap is lose and does not hold well at all so you can not adjust them to stay put. All in all they're useless and are now in the waste basket. I didn't realize they were from China or I never would have ordered them.

This kit contains almost everything you need to get started on making silver jewelry. Don't forget that you need to buy butane locally because it is not part of the kit and can't be sent through the mail.

The DVD that is included provides some beautiful ideas on things that you can make and her instructions are clear. I would also recommend that you try the bronze and copper art clay. Not only is it less expensive, but the colors are very popular right now. You could buy this kit and buy either copper or bronze and experiment and get comfortable with them before using the more expensive silver art clay.

This is lots of fun to do! If you don't like what you have made, and it hasn't been fired yet, you can just add water to the clay and re-do the item. It's almost like playing with play-dough.

One other thing before I quit writing: I've taken an empty pill bottle and put any little pieces of clay that I have in it. Then I can add some distilled water to make my own paste for "glueing" bails or additional pieces onto my work.

I bought these for my homeschooling children to use for their schoolwork. For my eight and nine-year-old, some of the work involves coloring pages from Dover coloring books; anyone familiar with these coloring books knows that the drawings are elaborate and detailed, and crayons would never do. My nine-year-old daughter takes great care with her coloring, and enjoys experimenting with blending colors so I thought she would enjoy the variety of color this set affords. She has enjoyed these pencils immensely but we have had a little trouble with them. One, the grooves in which the pencils lie in their tin are shallow, and the pencils sometimes all slide out when the tin is being moved, or the top layer is being lifted from the bottom layer. Two, the diameter of the pencil is such that none of the three sharpeners we owned would sharpen these pencils. One of our sharpeners is a standard electric sharpener that we have relied on for quite some time without issue, so I was surprised. I had to come back to amazon and order the battery powered Derwent sharpener; this has allowed the pencils to be sharpened so that my children can enjoy them again. The third thing is that in trying to sharpen the pencil, one of them snapped. The force being used was not tremendous so I would caution the buyer to handle these with care. Definitely not for younger children--if purchasing for children's coloring projects I would recommend a minimum age of six or seven, and if the child is immature, even older. Overall I am happy with this purchase and would buy them again.

Presser feet from Distinctive are absolutely great. The quality is very good, not flimsy as you might expect for the price. All you have to do is worry weather or not it will fit your machine. This stuff is great--and it really really works! Print any image from a word document onto the sheets of backed fabric. Just manipulate your images on your computer until you have the desired layout and design, print out a trial on a piece of paper and then load into your inkjet printer with the fabric sheets and hit print. Very high quality results. I did not have any problems getting my printer (Canon MP210) to take the sheets, there was absolutely no jamming or slippage. Once your sheet has been printed, carefully peel off the backing and then you are ready sew or other wise use your fabric. The fabric is treated cotton in a pretty fine and smooth weave so it doesn't interfere with images (at least not any of the many that I generated). The resulting fabric is a little stiffer than plain cotton cloth but not by much. Its definitely on the same order of thickness/stiffness as some of the commercially available quilting fabrics so there is no problem integrating your fabric that you design and print out with other fabric that you may want to use in some larger project. I used this product a couple of years ago and there has been no fading or any other damage or wear. The only thing you have to be aware of: don't get this stuff wet! Don't plan on making a washable quilt or shirt or anything else. Ink from an ink jet printer runs and smears on paper when it gets wet and you will have similar unpleasant effects with this fabric.

This is definitely one of the better printer fabrics out there when it comes to print quality and washability. I have tried quite a few different fabrics and this one is the only one that is washable and has the crispest prints. There are two problems that I have encountered with this fabric.

1) The fabric is very tough/rough. It is difficult to manipulate and leaves holes where your needle has been.

2) The ink can scratch off a bit.

If you want to print something that can be washed and the texture of the fabric isn't that important to you, I recommend this product. As I said, I've tried quite a few different products and this one is the best in terms of print quality and washability.

I have purchased two 25 packs of this fabric. I have not had the oportunity to try it. I hope i wont be disappointed. I do however find the price reasonable compared to other places i have looked. I have used iron on transfer and it is easily damaged. I wanted something that won't scratch and that could be washed. I hope to some day learn how to make a quilt and i hope these will be good for that.

Pros:

Keypad provides fast frequency & voltage entries; the units are also easy. Unit computations are automatic. When you enter 3700 and hit the 'Hz' key, it displays & uses 3.700 khz.

The built-in arbitrary waves are useful for many applications.

With the timebase capable of being a slow as 1 micro-hertz (1 million seconds) you can simulate extremely slow sense data.

LABView has a USB driver for Mac, Linux & Windows that allows you to remotely control the unit over USB. The only reason why I know this is because RIGOL requires you to download the driver for Windows from the National Instruments website.

The time base seems to be spot-on with my GWInstek GDS-1062A scope. For 370hz on the generator, the scope reads 369.992hz it seems to be this close or better on all frequencies I've tried

Cons:

The Windows-based software does not work with Windows 7, although it supposed to work with XP, which makes it useless to me. But it seems like the .rdf files for the arbitrary waveform data is just a block 4096, little-endian, unsigned 16-bit values.

Its easy to hack together a program to make make arbitrary waveforms without having to use the front panel to enter each point.

The encoder knob could be better, sometimes it changes by 2 or 0 values per tactile click. Just a minor annoyance.

Overall:

The user-interface is pretty nice and intuitive in most places, like being able to press the 'Freq' twice to toggle it to 'Period' entry mode. The filename entry method could be better, but it is still quite usable. When you exceed a limit, the unit prompts you with a message, and then sets it to that limit. The other thing I like is the you have to manually turn on the outputs, after power-on. Also the outputs are overload protected, they automatically shut off, if you accidentally touch a source of voltage. Just for fun, the LABView driver makes it easy to control it with my Mac, is an added plus, even though I don't ultimately 'need' it.

I threw together a quick command-line program on the Mac, to convert .wav files to the internal .rdf data format that the DG-1022 uses; so, using Audacity & my utility, that covers my total software requirements for this device.

I am very pleased with this unit, it definitely exceeded my expectations as a replacement for my crappy old pulse generator, with all the newfangled features of today's test equipment, at a price point that I can touch.

I am extremely impressed with this device. It has features I would only expect in a much more expensive function generator. I purchased it through Amazon for less than $450. It is easy, convenient and intuitive to use; however, I did have to consult the manual to access some functions. The frequency and amplitude appear accurate, and I have not observed any unexpected disruptions when making changes. The many features are too numerous to mention here. I suggest that you download and review the user and programming manuals. The LCD shows waveforms for various functions; however, you should probably connect the output to a good scope while learning how to use the DS1022. The capabilities of the second channel are limited, but the second channel can be switched to input and used as a frequency counter. You should also be aware that the sine wave is the only output can be used up to 20 MHz.

Despite my positive impression of the value of this device, I considered giving it only four stars for the following reasons. The supplied power cord was not for US power, and I had to use a spare PC power cord. The supplied user manual was in Chinese, but the English version is available as a pdf on the CD or can be downloaded from the Rigol website. The English version is a poor translation form Chinese. It is understandable, but might be hard for inexperienced users to follow. I am concerned that trying to get technical support or warranty repair may be difficult. The software on the supplied CD requires a National Instruments dll which was not included. I have used the software only enough to verify that it works. My impression is that it will require considerable trial and error to use it effectively. My only negative comment about the instatement itself is that the BNC connectors seem flimsy, and might break if too much force is applied.

What a big surprise! Is this April Fools day?

The Rigol DG1022 arrived a day early.

The unit that arrived was not for the USA market, the power cord has the wrong connector so I can't use it.

The quick start manual is printed in Chinese so I can't read it!

So the manual in Chinese isn't such a big deal since I can't apply power to the device because of the wrong power cord!

Within an hour of my original review the provider contacted me by e-mail, appologizing for the error, and explaining how it occured.

They sent a new power cord, confirmed by an e-mail the next morning. They also pointed out that english versions of the instructions are on the included CD(and on Rigol's web site).

I used a power cord from a computer and the electronic manual, the product works well and the provider is very responsive.

I had a contractor come to install a HEAVY mirror. He had used screws and mollies and the head of the screw wouldn't fit the preinstalled hooks on the mirror. The beast of a mirror sat on the floor until I found and installed these MYSELF!

I have an art piece that's 56lbs. I was debating if I should make some cleats when i was shopping around amazon. Since the piece already has hanger rings, I decided to give this a try instead. it's only 5 bucks each so why not? turn out to be very easy to install. Just mark the sites in the drywall (avoid the stubs in this case); use a 3/8 drill bit and put the holes in and push the hanger into the hole and put in the finishing nail! That's it! oh yeah put the art piece on but u get the picture... very strong, cheap price, what's not to like.
