This is lots of fun to do! If you don't like what you have made, and it hasn't been fired yet, you can just add water to the clay and re-do the item. It's almost like playing with play-dough.
One other thing before I quit writing: I've taken an empty pill bottle and put any little pieces of clay that I have in it. Then I can add some distilled water to make my own paste for "glueing" bails or additional pieces onto my work.

We did buy some copper clay to practice with before going to the silver. did find it interesting it fires differently but in both cases we were able to produce fine detail and good results after following the detailed instructions included in this kit . there is definatly enough material included to get a number of small pieces completed. and a good value overall

This item's description states it has "Everything you need to mold shape fire and finish" which is not true. I was very disappointed that it comes with no fuel for the torch and there is nowhere to purchase it near where I live. I will be unable to make anything until I find a solution. It is false advertising and the description needs to be more accurate.
