I'm a professional artist and I use Liquitex paints all the time. I love acrylic paint and Liquitex is some of the best, despite huge marketing efforts by another brand, these are just as concentrated and just as good. They are just the right consistency to not have to be watered down. These paints are not thick enough for impasto but just right for most regular painting uses. The only thing I don't like about them is when you take the inner seal off the top you need a small knife to do it (at least I do) and usually the paint spurts out a bit. I wish they didn't have the inner seal at all, but I suppose it's necessary.

I love Liquitex even if it is expensive. It is better to use a single product line as you learn it's characteristics, both good and bad. I haven't found the bad part of the equation yet with Liquitex. This 8 pack contains a good selection of colors and the soft body is the original Liquitex. Liquitex airbrush medium thins these colors to easily spray in an airbrush. Buying the 8 pack reduces the cost per bottle very nicely.

I bought these for a painting class in school. Buying the 8-pack is a good bargain compared to the prices at the student bookstore. Loved these paints, highly pigmented and had a good viscosity because they are soft body paints. Not too thick (in my opinion, the Liquitex heavy body paints are too thick and hard to mix) and not too thin. Some of my classmates had the cheap Liquitex Basics line and you could tell a difference, these have way better opacity.

The fact that these have a flip top makes them so easy to access compared to the twist-top tubes. You can open them with one hand as opposed to two, which is important in painting because your other hand often contains your brush(es)! They can be squeezed out, so I reached for them much more often than my jars of paint which had to be scooped out. Bottom line: one-handed operation is a major selling point.

Unfortunately my cadmium yellow was all dried out but I didn't realize until it was past the 2 week return date.

These are WONDERFUL paints. They have a fluid consistency, but are incredibly creamy and highly pigmented at the same time. I have used quite a few brands of fluid acrylics before (everything from Golden to craft paints to Byzantias) but never committed to an entire set.

I purchased these Liquitex Soft Body paints for a painting class I am takingI figured it was a good way to get a range of colors in one shot. I have a stash of regular and heavy body acrylics, but not as many fluid acrylics, and as soon as I received the Liquitex paints and opened them, I realized that I have been missing out.

These paints have the same pigment and coverage as thicker acrylics (the acrylics with a toothpaste consistency) but flow beautifully (like syrup). The soft body paints are perfect for either "loose" painting or detail oriented work.

The colors are wonderful and the consistency is a lovely, thick fluid. I use both glaze and water to dilute these, but they flow so nicely, it's rarely necessary. They just flow across the surface of canvas (and paper) and are vivid and bright.

And this eight piece set is a *really* good value at the price I purchased it (thirty three) The colors retail from five to twelve dollars each jar, and this is a perfect started set with six basic color (mixable to many more) plus black and white. I would recommend purchasing this starter kit plus adding a few colors you love and adding as you go.

If you expected a large quantity of thread for under $5, I've got a bridge just for you! But if you are in need of a lot of colors for small projects, then this is a deal with 32 different colors to choose from. As far as the bobbins, remember that some sewing machines are quite selective as to what works, so these generic bobbins might not work.

This item turned out to be much more flimsy and cheap thank I was expecting. The selection of colors was fine. However, not a lot of thread on the spools and the bobbins are spun sloppy. In addition, the shipping was almost as much as the kit.

This product that was delivered after a long wait is of very poor quality.

The thread snaps easily. The packaging looks good in the photograph, but the tray is made of very flimsy plastic unsuitable for regular use. I have to store the threads and bobbins in a separate box which makes colour matching with the bobbins difficult. Overall, not a reliable product.

These are beautiful but are very heavy and the rhinestones are only on half of the earring so when you move your head you can see the not so pretty part.

I think this would be great for small stencil shapes, but do not try to change the color of furniture with it. I have 4 directors chairs that a wanted to change the 2 cloth parts into a different color. I bought a 4 pack in pastel colors. I am 4 bottles in per chair and still need some more in order to finish my project! Goes on very unevenly so thats why you need so many coats. The first layer the fabric was still soft, but getting stiffer with every application I do.

Nestabilities Classic round set is great, easy and fun to use. I use mine with my Cuttlebug Machine. I use it everyday to cut circles for cards!!

I love everything spellbinders so I bought this product searching for big cirlces as the description said they are "Large Standard Cirlces". I really like them but if you are looking for BIG circles I would recommend to go with the grand calibur size circles, they would be good for 12x12 size layouts and these are better for card size crafts.

I've been trying to regain the skills that my construction accident took away from me. This product has helped me to start bringing it back. It's been helping me to also work on my shading of the objects while I also work on the shape of the object itself. It has taken away one part of the process so I can concentrate on the other parts of the regaining process not so much away as to concentrate & when the time came to learn & do the shading, that part of the process will be easier because of being able to concentrate on the main objective while able to also absorb this part of the process also.

I would recommend this for anyone of any age over the age of 8. Younger than 8 & they will think of them more as toys than useful tools to bring parts of the world or your world to others. I suppose these could be handy for just about anything, even cleaning; but in my case, I use it for my artwork. There are different tips-rounded and pointed. Material is best described as the spongy inside part of a marker that holds the ink; except it has no ink. A buddy of mine let me have one of theirs to try it out. Works beautifully for India ink drawings, and gives a nice comfortable smooth stroke, not limited to thin and thick lines. Also experimented with dipping in mineral spirits to smudge any crayon-type paint sticks. Had lots of fun with it! It comes in a smaller package of 6, but trust me, you're going to want the bucket-size.

I have tried the Snazaroo face paints in the past and like them. I wanted to try my hand at some more involved face painting for an upcoming party so I figured I'd pick up these brushes by the same company. I tried them out when I got them and am very happy with the outcome. They clean off easily and they work well. I hate paying for face painting when we go to carnivals and fairs. I decided that instead of paying for some stranger to paint my kids' faces, for the same cost I could purchase a book and some paint and do it myself. I bought Klutz Face Painting Book Kit. It came with some high quality paints and a book that walks you through some simple designs. These additional paint brushes are helpful in doing the more intricate designs. I'm not sure they are any different than brushes you might purchase down the street at the local art supply store, but I do recommend having multiple sized brushes when doing face painting.

I bought this set after some experience using sepia pens Sepia Drawing Pen Set from the same maker. These are advertised for manga/comic use, although there is nothing stopping you from using these pens for any other purpose. However, the assortment of pens is indeed adequate for drawing and inking manga/comic.

This set include three fine-tip pens (0.20 mm, 0.35 mm, and 0.50 mm), one fine marker pen (0.1 mm), one brush-tip, and one mechanical pencil (0.7 mm)

The ink of these pens dries fast; I can practically erase my pencil strokes right after I have finished my inking. However, to avoid smudge while using the brush-tip pen, I would recommend to wait a while longer for the ink to dry.

The fine marker and the brush-tip allow for a great variety of strokes width, while the fine-tips allow to take care of details. There is nothing special about the 0.7mm mechanical pencil. It does include an eraser at it's other end, but if you do any serious amount of drawings it would be gone in no time.

This is a set well balanced set with everything you need for drawing and inking manga. A dedicated eraser is recommended, but this set is still a good starter set without it. I highly recommend these pens.

This is a awesome product. It's perfect for drawing small lines on hair and fabric. Plus if you use Prismacolor markers you'll probably need these. I learned this lesson the hard way when I tried to color one of my pics I had drawn with a sharpie and the Prismacolor made the lines get messed up. I do all my inking with the 1.0 mm. I gives me consistent even lines that I do not get from sharpies. I like to use all the smaller ones for drawing thick to superfine eyelashes, lace, and hair. The brush marker can even give you Asian calligraphy like results when used in the right manner. As a skin color I would suggest getting Copic Milky White and Prismacolor light peach for a tanned look.

Once my drawing kit had arrived, I immediately grabbed a fresh sheet of paper and began testing it out.

The black ink is exceptionally dark, very quick to dry, and easy to maneuver! I couldn't imagine how I ever managed to make good drawings without using one of these bad boys. However, I recommend customers to not press the pens too hard, as they have a tendency to somewhat tear the felt tip a bit and cause irritating double lines from the loose felt thread. This, however, is very unlikely to happen as long as you take good care of the pens.

In conclusion, this is a wonderful purchase if you're looking to find good pens to line your art!
