This is a great product for custom painting clothing and fabrics. It is washable and comes off your skin fairly easily. Check out my hand painted clothing here:

I think this would be great for small stencil shapes, but do not try to change the color of furniture with it. I have 4 directors chairs that a wanted to change the 2 cloth parts into a different color. I bought a 4 pack in pastel colors. I am 4 bottles in per chair and still need some more in order to finish my project! Goes on very unevenly so thats why you need so many coats. The first layer the fabric was still soft, but getting stiffer with every application I do.
