I use gel markers in coloring dover coloring books, there are many sets available, however this set better than most. The metal case is overkill but the range of colors, smoothest of ink flo is very good. I can't give it a higher rating because the amount of different colors is very misleading, it has two of almost every color plus it is mostly gliter and neon colors. Marker performance gets it the high mark, very smooth, all but one color worked well right out of the can.

I was a little nervous ordering these I've had a lot of gel pens stop working after just a few uses. When I got them I tested each one to see the different colors I was some what disappointed on the flow of ink, but when I went to use the pens to color some detailed pictures I was VERY PLEASED the pens must have warmed up, they work great. I really like the glitter pens, very pretty. I don't use the pens to write just to color and I really like them. The tin storage case is very flimsy, but I wasn't planning on using it anyway.

i adore these pens! there are some who say there are not truly 52 different colors. each color is different even if same hue family.

the glitters rock! show up a lot better than i expected. all of the colors are great if you are wanting to experiment with new tones. i like mixing mediums, so these are great for that too.

Any artist will love this set, don't hesitate on getting them. Perfect for spiro-graph (spiral art), in addition the storage tin/mini briefcase holds alot more than just the pens, perfect for art supplies on the go.

When I first tried to take the caps off, it ended with a few (about 5) pens breaking because it was impossible to remove the caps! Clearly a cheaply made product, but the pens work great when the caps finally gave.
