Honest reviews on Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Rectangles Die Template

Boy, these are the most wonderful things for cardmakers, I don't know how I got along without them for so long. They are the handiest things to have, because most cards are made using several sizes of squares and rectangles on the cards. It is very difficult to get the exact size when measuring everything by hand, and then cutting each one out, but with the spellbinders rectangles you just put the die on the paper, whoosh it through and the card rectangle is cut to perfection. Thank you to whomever invented these!!!

I love my rectangle die set! It is so easy to use with my Big Shot and I can make all different size rectangles. You can even make a window or a swinging part to your card. I like it for cutting a larger rectangle out of darker card stock and then putting on that my sentiment or greeting in a smaller rectangle of white or cream card stock. I am so glad I got it!

"Bucilla 86280 Santa's Secret Stocking Felt Applique Kit, 18-Inch" as always has a lot of detail embroidery to sew but not as much sequins as some have. Just a wonderful, fun project. Their patterns are always easy to follow with good instructions on how to complete the piece.

I have made felt stockings before and this is definitely the toughest one i've tackled. There are over 100 pieces to put together. It is coming along and the end result will be worth it but this is definitely not for beginners. The instructions are not very detailed and if I had never done this kind of project before I don't think I would have been able to do it with what is given.

I have had to readjust a few pieces and still is holding up beautifully through all of my trial and errors

Customer Ratings:

Besides the obvious use for art, these are great for introducing math skills such as greater and lesser than, numer sense and addition and subtraction stories. I'm sure there are still many uses I haven't thought of! Oh, using to mark cards multiple sets of flash cards for use in any subject. Think of the one floating card that remains on the floor when all the rest are put away!

Best Copic Markers ABS-1N Airbrushing System Deals

I am only a beginner when it comes to airbrushing with copic markers. I bought the ABS1N off ebay in an auction for a much cheaper price, and it works great! I'm still working with the settings for the air pressure, so it may be a good idea to get the Aircan 180 as an extra once you get the hang of using the device more professionally. It takes a bit of getting used to, and it took me some time to figure out how to work it. Be very cautious when first operating this device, and read the instructions as closely as you can. The aircan gets super cold when you start using it, something I did not know but read in a pamphlet from Michael's Craft store. That sort of freaked me out at first. xD I plan to look up Copic airbrush tutorials online through Youtube and Google for a better idea on how to properly use it.

The ABS1N kit comes with everything you need. The air hose, the aircan, adaptor, airgun, and can holder. The difference between ABS1 and ABS1N is that 1N comes with the 180can, which gives you 45min of air time. But the regular ABS1 kit comes with the Aircan 80, with about a 15min spray time. I recommend ABS1N.

I would have went with the ABS2 set, with just the airbrush gun + an air can (D60) but read one of the reviews off Amazon and figured that the Air Adaptor + hose would probably help the airbrush function much better. For me, I don't have a problem with ABS1, I just need to develop good skills when using it.

ABS3 is the last kit, which comes with just the Airgun and the AirAdaptor. This does not include the actual AirCAN which supplies the air, nor does with come with the air hose or the necessities of an aircan holder (to keep the can from spilling/becoming damaged). You could also invest in an Air Compressor (replaces the AirCan) which costs around $200-$300.

Once again be very careful when handling this. If you drop the air gun or make a dent in one of the cans, you'll end up needing a replacement. So handle with care and be patient in reading the instructions. :)

This was a Christmas gift from 2010, and after over a year of use I can say that this a great product. It does exactly what you'd hope, and adds a real smooth, softer look to pieces that need one. I've been using Copics since 2005 and lament not trying this system much sooner.

When you use a marker normally you'll get that full, rich color. When plugged into the aircan it'll come out a bit softer unless you wish to layer it further. The difference not as noticeable with darker colors, but it's very useful when you wish to fill large spaces in a picture without laying down heavy colors, or wearing down your marker nibs. (...Just a heads-up for those new to the world of Copics: you can't airbrush with any "white". The best you can do is use masking, white paint and/or a blender brush.)

The system is capable of hooking to an actual air compressor, but I have no experience with that. The aircans themselves last a good while; I'm not sure if one lasts a full 45 minutes, but that likely varies with how high you're setting the pressure. I took 2 with me to a convention to have on-hand for an Artist's Alley, and by the end of the weekend I had about 1/2 of one left. I would definitely keep an extra on hand at all times.

As a full-time professional artist, I vary between digital and traditional. The Copic Air Brush System allows me to give customers traditional pieces that have as much polish as digital ones. I can't speak for how this compares to real airbrush systems, but if you use Copics and want to diversify your use of them, this is a must-have.

Best Deals for Marti Michell 54" Giant Dahlia Quilt Template Set #8949

You simply cannot make this type of quilt without these acrylic templates; but not only do you need these, you have to maintain PERFECT 1/4" seams or your quilt will NOT lay flat, it will be lumpy. I advise using the CurveMaster foot which almost forces you to keep those 1/4" seams. This quilt is not for the faint of heart, you will need to go slowly and carefully, however, once you get the finished product you will be very proud of yourself. I ended up drawing every sewing line on each piece with either a chalk pencil or disappearing ink. There are several options for the Dahlia's "center" and I would recommend not selecting the option that is all points to the very center, you get a lot of bulk doing this. Advise you to use neutral color thread or matching thread, too. So, once you've done your very best and its not as perfect as you like, just remember, after you quilt it and wash it, those small imperfections won't matter so much. But if your aim is a perfectly flat wall hanging, good luck!

These needles are beautifly finished, and are perfectly smooth. No catches, no snags, just smooth knitting. The cables are the BEST because not only do they swivel, but they lie flat and out of the way. Most circ cables want to twist up on you, but not these. The case is well made and attractive. All in all, a great buy.

Discount Pentel Arts Sign Pen, Black Ink, 2 Pack (S520BP2A)

I love these pens. The color quality is great and they even write on slick papers, yet still dry instantly. Excellent deal considering they seem to last forever.

I found a couple of these pens in the back of a drawer after 19 years!!! And they still work as beautifully as the first day I used them 20 years ago. They were not dried and hard like the other brands I also found back there. Truly amazing. Very good quality. I am buying another set of them now and will use them to write cards and special letters and notes.

Best Deals for Pentel Arts Sign Pen, Black Ink, 2 Pack (S520BP2A)

I am a pen freak, a pen collector, a pen addict. I love pens. Fancy pens, cheap pens, expensive pens, pens I find, pens I hunt down, and this is my new favorite.

This is a great pen for signing documents and when you feel bold and want the line of your handwriting (remember that-LOL) to reflect your feeling.

Don't get me wrong, it's not like a marker, but it's a visible line.

I often love and have oodles of 3mm and 5mm lines, but this is bolder than a Flair pen for example and just feels good in your hands. The pen has a classic, artsy, yet simple design. I am never ashamed to pull it out in public. It's got style.

So, artists enjoy and pen freaks, give it a shot. The colors are nice, too! Sometimes only red will do. They have purple and the world definitely needs more purple ink.

Best Deals for Pebeo Vitrea 160 Frosted Glass Paint Set, Cardboard Box of 10

First, I opened the box and took out all of the colors. I was happy with the two green colors, and I was happy with the two blue colors,

(although a light blue instead of two dark blues, would have been preferred) I was happy to have a purple as well. However, I ended up with three of almost the exact color of red!

I got no yellow, and the other color I got was this ugly skin color. I bought these paints to paint on glass and decorate them. You would think a person would have enough common sense to give you bright colors, and not include three of the same color or close to the same color. I also got a white that was fine also.

But I did not need three reds that you cannot even tell the difference in color other than it has a different number on the lid. Not to mention how expensive these paints are. Just really disappointing! Never again, I will only purchase this product where I can look inside the box and see what colors are in there. Not for this price.

Honest reviews on Pebeo Vitrea 160 Frosted Glass Paint Set, Cardboard Box of 10

The paints themselves are great but the way the kit comes you have to compliment because there is no black or brown which are usually necessary.

The item was delivered as promised. I have had it for over a month and everything works perfectly. The shipping was speedy and my package included the manufacturer instruction manuals for both airbrushes. However, the instruction manuals aren't super detailed, but it was easy enough to figure things out. I also did some further internet research to figure out how to piece together some of the components. The Ameri-color package is fantastic because it supplies you with the most used colors. For a beginner like myself, it was really the perfect starter package.

I purchased this system from TCP Global. I love it! My cakes turn out great. The price was unbelieveable except for the shipping which I thought was a bit excessive. The company is easy to contact and very helpful. The only problem I have had with this system is the trigger style airbrush (which is the poorer quality of the two) leaks everytime I use it. I have taken it apart twice to attempt to find the cause of the leak without success. All things considered, you can't buy a better system for the price.

Best Deals for CAKE DECORATING AIRBRUSH KIT, 12 -0.7 Colors with Air Compressor

This kit was worth the investment. I do wish the manufacturer would have included more detailed instructions as to how it all works, but I have used compressors before so I was able to figure it all out. All in all it is worth the investment!!! I do recommend this package.

Honest reviews on CAKE DECORATING AIRBRUSH KIT, 12 -0.7 Colors with Air Compressor

Love this compressor. It arrived sooner than expected. The only hiccup was the compressor had the wrong air hose fitting. I replaced the fitting just to find that TCP Global was on top of that too. While I never even contacted them about the fitting, they had already taken corrective action and had sent out a set of fittings. The compressor is very quiet, easy to use and the set works great and affordable! I highly recommend this product from this company!

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for CAKE DECORATING AIRBRUSH KIT, 12 -0.7 Colors with Air Compressor

The air brush kit is pretty good quality. The compressor stops when it gets to a certain PSI and has an adjustable pressure setting so that you can adjust how hard the air comes out of the brush. It came with a good amount of food colors too. Everything worked great. There werent any instructions but its a pretty self explanatory item. If you dont know how to use one you can just youtube it. Overall i would definately reccomend this for someone looking for a decent priced and good quality airbrush.

I have several set of these and keep buy more because they are so useful in the studio. I paint with the 1 inch ones, mostly in acrylics, use the 2 inch for glazing in oils and acrylics and use the 3 inch for grounding canvas. The are uniform in quality and easy to clean. A very good buy.

My teacher thoughtlessly asked us to get huge brushes. These are huge. Now she says they are too big. LOL. The smallest one is what she had in mind. That being said, I am glad I can do washes of large paper areas. This brand is recommended by my teacher because of the softness, and the great points.

Probably not the best brushes for fine art, or for wall-painting either; but excellent for decoupage. Brushes on the Mod Podge smoothly, rinses easily; and because the brushes are only a quarter of an inch or so thick, there's not a lot of waste. The bristles don't come loose the way they do in some cheap brushes. A very good purchase overall.
