Preventing the hassle to buy 3 different items, all of them I needed to get started, I bought this combo set. Received it pretty fast and overall I am pleased with it. Price/Quality is more than fair and it does what it is supposed to do. All parts came in 1 box and therefore packed dense. The biggest part, the table top had some damage serious enough to give their Customer Service a call.

I must say that martin Berkeley scores a 5 star here as without winking they send me a new top right away. Within 2 days FedEx delivered it at my door.

First off, you ARE NOT getting what's in the picture. I can guarantee that, nor are you getting what's in the product description. Thinking I was ordering a "Black base, Cherrywood color Top" and the "most popular Drafting height chair" I instead got a head-ache inducing gray-white top and a plastic, cushionless, hard-as-nails stool.

Someone definitely messed something up, obviously Amazon for posting the wrong product and possibly Martin Universal Design for sending me the wrong stuff, I'm not sure. Either way I have to wait longer to get what I need. I feel like Amazon has let me down, and I need to be more cautious about buying from them.

Martin Universal Design was fantastic for customer service, but I had to contact them over the phone since they never returned my email. They didn't blink an eye when I told them I got the tabletop I wasn't expecting and fixed it right away, but I didn't realize the chair was different until after. I may still get it exchanged.

Either way, I'm highly disappointed in Amazon. I suggest finding this on another site even if you have to pay a little more, at least you won't be surprised and have to wait a few extra weeks for the item you really want.

Compared to the prices at Walmart, this is a real deal! As mentioned in earlier reviews the numbers on the spools do not match the pattern numbers, but as a starter kit my wife was able to figure out what the color was.

I bought this thread for my new Brother PE 770 embroidery machine. I could not be happier with this purchase. I am not sure why it has the word "Disney" in the name. I actually bought it because I am planning to do some Disney embroidery projects, but this product contains all 61 Brother colors listed in my manual, with the same color numbers. What a terrific way to start my collection. The stand also came in perfect condition and is a great way to store and display the threads. I have completed a couple of projects since the thread arrived yesterday and the thread works perfectly with the machine and looks beautiful in the designs. I was also delighted that the thread arrived much earlier than was promised, only two days after I ordered it.

I never would have imagined that you can spray paint fabric, but you can! Simply Spray helped me change the look of an old sofa bed that I bought from Ikea over 7 yrs ago. Unfortunately, Ikea does not offer covers for this particular sofa bed and I didn't want to get rid of it because it is still in very good condition. I started a google search to find out if there was some way I could paint fabric and that is when I found this product. Great product!! Wear rubber gloves and rub right after you spray. Do small areas, not the whole piece at once. This worked well for me. It is one of the best products I have ever used to make something old new again!

So far so good! I bought 2 chairs from a thrift shop that i loved eveything about, except the fabric, so after doing some research i found this paint online. This was super easy to use and looks really good with the first coat, will probably need to spray a second as there are a few spots i have missed. i like the notebook because not only I used it for pastel but for acrylic too and because of paper thickness the result was great. 24sheets 9"x12" ofcourse i didn't noticed when i was buying that the papers come i 6 different colors there are 4 of each these colors: white, cream, blue, green, light pink & brown. but since the colors are mild it's not a problem but it would be better they were all white. eathier way i couldn't get any cheeper than this in stores so I would buy this any way.

Since I just started doing pastels, I'm not that familiar with the different pastel papers, but this is a really good value for beginners & from what I can gather, this is a standard paper for pastels, both oil & chalk or soft pastels. My mediums have been watercolor, acrylics & oils. You could probably use this for watercolor or acrylic if you have a very light touch & don't get the paper too wet. It's acid free, which is very important when you want your art to last more than a few yrs. I've done 2 pastels on it so far & found it very easy to work on. It's nice because this pad also has different color papers you can try out with your pastels in case you don't want to use the plain white. I'd say it's an excellent value, especially if you're just beginning & are hesitant to spend the money for the more expensive supports.

These are "arts" type pens, not a permanent "work" type marker or pen. The colour assortment in this set is perfect for basic user who needs just to add a little colour to a few items that are not going to be subjected to weather or heavy use. As they contain water-based colouring medium they are not appropriate for items that will get wet. Neither are they very good for smooth, hard, non-porous surfaces such as metal, hard or dark plastics, or glass although they will leave a light mark on glass. They work well on paper without a finish, I have used them to good effect on copier paper, school notebook paper, pressed cardboard, construction paper (white ONLY as they do not show up well on any coloured papers) and even a dry-marker board where they are good for making semi-permanent lines which will not wipe off as easily as standard dry markers but can still be easily washed off.

On unfinished or tooling leather these marker pens seem to work really well. They mark easily on skin too, but wash off easily and I had no skin reaction to them even after testing them on forearm for full day; but wouldn't use around eyes or mouth as no idea what is in these as their colouring medium.

The pen construction seems to be good, but they are relatively LONG, 7.5" without cap.

the very fine brush tip is a "brush" tip and has small amount of flex in it so the very sharp point "gives" and you get a much broader line than the extremely sharp tip would first suggest even under very light pressure. That said the tips on both ends do seem to be very strong and not prone to fraying or "mushing".

All worked, none were dried-out or hard to start working. How much marker fluid they actually have in them and how long they will last, I cannot comment on due to limited use so far.

Overall seem to be excellent little "niche" product with good quality fine points.

Bright vibrant colors from these markers. I got the small set since I have been disappointed with other markers in the past. But these will definitely be a repeat buy with the larger sets.

I purchased this set for my 14 year old niece. She is extremely talented and primarily works with acrylics and sketch pencils. When she mentioned her interest in trying out watercolors, I ordered this set for her. She was beyond thrilled to receive it and immediately began using it. Some of the art she's created with this set is phenomenal. She loves the fact that it has a sketch easel attached to the box and its own carrying bag. When I asked her if the paint was easy to use, etc. she told me that it was really great and that she really liked them. I would encourage anyone that is starting out in watercolors to purchase this. It's of great quality and has endured a 14 year old's "abuse" of carrying it around everywhere she goes. Keep in mind the box is made of wood. I was disappointed by a specific review, because these paints are fine. I'm an art student at Tyler School of Art and I work with gouache often. These are very standard and worth what you pay. They can last for a long time, and none of mine were dried out upon delivery.

I was not expecting top-of-the-line product, as the cost was so low. But I may as well have burned my cash. Don't buy this just to try out gouache because it's not representative of what is actually a very fun and rewarding medium. (Likewise, never experiment with cheap watercolor paper. You will not get a true idea of what it can do for you.)

Very little pigment and lots of binding agent give you feeble color. A quality paint will be easily reconstituted once dry, just by adding water and allowing it to sit for a few minutes. This would not do that, so you'd have to use only fresh paint, which some artists prefer, but even fresh, the pigment is weak.

The color is good on the tubes but the pain is very thin its mostly the medium, and when you open the tubes lots of it comes out in a big squirt. Also the tubes tended to continue leaking this viscous liquid no matter how tight you got the caps on, I may have to transfer all the paint out before the tubes can dry up on me making it harder to get it out

Grace Frame Start-Right Leader Cloth Quilt Pattern/ Grided Cloth Reviews

Quality of fabic is very sturdy. I give it 5 stars. However, they are sewn completely crooked.

I measured from the top to bottom in several incriments down the length of the fabric.

The 9 inch one ranges from 8 3/4 inch to alittle over 9 inches.

The 19 inch one ranges from 19 to 19 1/2 from one side to the other but the sew line is a scant forth inch from bottom of the fabic. Making it little over 1/4 inch off.

The 26 inch one measures from 26 1/8 to 26 7/8ths

They were measured laying on a flat surface off the frame.

If I go by the sew line I will Never get them to roll correctly. I am using the velco fasten (the velcro on frame is completly Straight. I have tried multiple times to roll fabric straight but it keeps rolling crooked because of the length changes in the cloth. I do not feel I should have to make adjustments in the pinning and placement of the quilt top and bottom. I spent alot of money on these so I would have a straight pin line.

I have informed the Grace Co about the problem and will update my review when I hear back from them. They have a wonderful reputation so I really hope they make this right.

Stiching was not straight and hemming was uneven. Velcro not added straight. Would recommend you purchase yardage and do your own vs. buying this product.

I love these cloth leaders. There are three of them for the take up rail, the rail for the top and the rail for the quilt bottom. They attach to the poles with Velcro that is included with the leader cloths. It is very easy to use and makes quilting on a frame easier to attach the quilt top and bottom. Using the leader cloths make is possible to quilt very close to the bottom and top edge. They come in king size but can be cut down for a queen or smaller. I use mine on the Gracie King but used them on the Gracie Queen before upgrading to a king extension.

For very light duty applications or apparel , this product is ok. However, about 10% were damaged and bent rendering them limited usefulness. The useful opening is barely 5/32 of an inch and the shoulder would easily pull through most fabric with little force. Definitely a decoration and very light duty low quality product.

These eyelets are ok. If your making something using a plier style hand press they would be pretty good. If you have an arbor press or are using a hammer set, they are way to thin and soft. These eyelets would be ok for fabric work, but not anything else.

Probably a third of the eyelets bent. That being said I was putting them in .06 kydex so I should have been using 3/16 not 5/32 eyelets. Overall though they did there job and I made 3 new sheaths with them. BUT if you are wanting to thread 550 paracord through it get larger ones, as it only fits 1 through once they are expanded.

I was amazed at the quality of this.product. I am a big fan of Winsor and Newton products (I've used Winton oils). When I purchased this I knew I'd like it, but it exceeded my expectations in a huge way. It is actually built super tough and the little brush holds its shape allowing fine detail work. I was amazed that this little brush was this good. These are the first Cotman watercolours that I have used and I am very happy with them they are vibrant and easy to pick up from the pans. This box is easy to replace empty pans. Just slide out the pans and add new ones. W&N Artist Watercolors are even better than the Colman and I have replaced the Colman with my regular palet in Artist Watercolors.

This box is very nice, and is not much bigger than a chalk board eraser. I use it constantly. It is easy to use and amazingly simple to clean up. I use it for sketches, but also for finished paintings I like small paintings in big frames.

This box is made in England and has the W&N logo in silver on top. It is an amazing product and it is perfect for my work. I can't believe that it was even better than I expected.

Back in the days when I was a student I used to make my own travelling kits with tin cans of altoids or pill cases hoping that one day someone will put a compact watercolor set together. Well, Winsor & Newton did it with this field box. I use it mainly for quick sketching and making mental notes of what later will become final pieces. I like the small trays for mixing. The cover serves as a water container and the water bottle holds enough liquid for refelling my water brush pen when needed. I hardly use the brush that comes with it, but it is nice to have it handy as a backup. My only complain is that the unfolding trays can fall apart if you are not careful. Other than that, highly recommended.
