I looked for a bound book without ruled lines.

There are plenty of 'sketch books' with wire spiral bindings, but I don't need that fabulous watercolor paper and every spiral binder I have is quickly crushed so I ignore them.

Yes, the cover is 'cardboard', but it creases easily because it's not very stiff. Unpacking it, my cuff caught on the cover corner and folded over.

Very thin 4.5mm (3/16")for 80 pages. What tricked me was the smaller pictures of the books in their 'set of three' packaging. They look thick.

I didn't buy the 8.5" x 11" XLarge because the size is harder to carry, but I will as soon as I'm done with this.

These little books are perfect for on-the-go!

I use one for each class all my notes/sketches in one place. No bulky notebooks.

Perfect to stuff in your purse/bag and bring along.

The paper is thin watercolors make it pucker but for sketching, pen/ink, colored pencil it's perfect.

Folk Art 30457 Peel and Stick Painting Stencil, Architectural Review

Customer Ratings:

These worked great! I did not use them on the wall, but on drinking glasses that I was edtching with acid compound. The are not made for this, but worked perfectly. They stuck to the glass and the acid compound did not destroy the stencil. I reused the same stencil four times on four glasses -applying acid and rinsing off with water -then applying the used stencil to a new glass. The etching on glass # 4 was as perfect as glass #1. Being that they worked so well on a glass surface with acid compound that was washed with water, I imagine they would work great on the wall with latix paint.

These folders make very pretty cards and tags. I used a ink resist technique and added some glitter and the cards were stunning. These make for very fast cards, which is always important for those times you are walking out the door and realize you forgot to make the card! Also, since I bought it through Amazon, it was delivered in less than 2 days (with regular free 2 day shipping with Prime membership). I know I can't stand to wait very long to play with my new scrap stuff and I wait at the door like a puppy for it to arrive!

I was so excited when I got this in the mail. The colors are lovely and so much fun to bring my drawings to life. It is a great perk to motivate me to draw more often and improve my sketching skills. You will get a feel of how to use them, it also helps to search youtube for some demos on how to shade with them and other lovely effects. This is a great set if you are new to professional quality markers. You to find out which shades you like and use the most and can order them in bigger sizes. The only thing is that there isn't a great skin color marker, like if i wanted to give a character light to medium skin, or especially ivory skin there isn't really one. The lightest is sort of a creamy pinkish/peachy one. Other than that I love them. I wish they could be just a bit cheaper, but they were worth it.

These markers are well worth the price. The colors are rich, and the ink blends nicely. Not to mention they are able to be refilled and the nibs can be replaced. These are perfect for manga artists.

I have bought both the Warm and Cool grey sets of Copic markers and I really couldn't be more happy with them. If you are looking to produce beautiful tonal drawings, these will get the job done and then some. Your only limitations will really be your own abilities which I guarantee will grow if you stick with the Copics.

That being said I just wanted to say a few words on the price and the markers themselves. It's easy to look at a set of Copic markers and think to yourself "Why would I pay so much for something I'm going to throw out in just a few months?" And with any other brand of marker, you'd be correct in feeling a little ripped off. But Copics are different; and not just because they are quality markers, because in all honesty so are Prismacolors or most other high end brand of markers. But the difference is that any Copic marker you buy can be refilled once it goes dry and all the nibs and brush heads can be replaced once they are worn out. Because of this, buying a set of Copic markers is more like buying a set of paint brushes rather than a set of pencils, pastels or markers for that matter.

If you do decide to buy this set you are looking at a high up front cost, not only for the markers but also the refill ink for each marker. However, once you've made the investment it's pretty cheap to keep your markers going. Each refill bottle will fill a Copic marker 7-10 times, making it somewhere between 50 cents to a dollar per refill. So, in the long term it becomes well worth the initial price, especially when you consider one Prismacolor marker costs somewhere between 4-6 dollars to replace.

These markers really are an investment; not just as far as money goes but in yourself as well. So, if you can't see yourself using them regularly a couple years down the road then they might not be a good fit for you. On the other hand, if you are an artist who is looking for a set of tools that are going to last and produce quality work, I can tell that your money is being well spent.

Discount Speedball 5-Color Pigmented Acrylic Ink Palette Set

I picked these up at a Michael's; getting back into calligraphy and I didn't have any pens or ink. I wanted this rather than the single pot of ink because I was wondering what a pen cleaner would do and because I really like playing with the metallic colors.

I'm still not sure of the advantages of a pen cleaner. I can do the same with any number of other substances. I guess it just looks more specialized?

The silver and gold don't quite have the pop that I was expecting them to. I used to have a pot of gold ink that really stood out, and this is more of a yellow, even after vigorously shaking. I'm sure I'll find its uses, but for now I'm just sticking to the black ink.

I'm very happy, however, with the black ink. Everything about it is smooth and it glides onto the paper extremely well. (To be fair, so do the silver and gold; you just can't see them).

Also, the level of ink within the bottles is about half. That's good for not spilling them, but it feels a little deceptive. Ultimately, I think I would have been better just to get a pot of black ink!

It was okay.when got some of paint spilled out...just about..not alot...know bottles were going to be small but these are very tiny

The Gold ink was empty and it leaked all over the package. That is the one color I wanted to use, so needless to say I was very disappointed! The rest of the set was fine.

Just a pretty starter set with wonderfully bright colors and additionally a small jar of pen cleaner to allow for switching between colors midway.

While I wouldn't use this on some fabrics, I used it on an inexpensive ikea chaise longue that came with white cotton and got dirty just by looking at it too hard. The stuff goes on easily and is for the most part, as good as dying and a hell of a lot easier.

I am new to body painting and purchased this system for that purpose. I haven't had a lot of experience with it yet (no one wants to volunteer to strip naked and be painted go figure!) But so far, so good. Everything arrived in great shape. I played with the paints that came with it and they worked well. I've also ran body paints through it and it works great with those. I even ran food coloring through it the first time I used it (as a cake decorator I have a similar compressor at work.) This worked just as well as my trusty old airbrush compressor at my bakery. For this price and all of the items included this is a great deal on a great compressor. I am just a beginner to airbrushing so keep that in consideration. The compressor isn't to large so that is a plus. It has an automatic shut off which takes some getting used to. I also prefer to keep it on the floor when I am using it as I could see the potential of it vibrating off a table top if not secured into place. I would say the only complaint that I would have is the lack of literature that is sent with this system. If I was a total newb then I really would have had no idea what to do with it.

This is a great item!.. I have only messed around with it a little bit but very impressed. The gun does not feel cheap whatsoever.. the compressor is very quiet I recommend this unit to anyone wanting to start airbrushing! Make sure you buy this unit with the paint and stuff that way you're ready to go! Very very simple unit to operate.. definitely worth it

Cheap Free Ship Lot 8 Balls Variegated Size 10 Crochet Cotton Threads

Customer Ratings:

When I received this as a Christmas gift, I was somewhat disappointed and felt badly for the gift giver. The picture gives the impression that these are full sized balls of thread and when they arrived, they were all in a very small envelope, and I don't feel that it's a good value for the money for what is paid vs what you get. I would not purchase this item, nor would I recommend it to be purchased by anyone unless they had money to throw away.

I have used both the smallest bird silohette stamps to make molds for pendants in metal clay. They are just deep enough to give the texture I need. I can also imagine using them directly on polymer clay and then embedding them in resin so the stamps can be used in a number of ways other than as direct stamps. I love them!

I really Love this set, but wish that the tubes were in 4 oz's, instead of the ml's that this set contains . other than that small thing, the set is first rate. i love how dark and bright the colors are and they are the right smoothness and thickness to make your own creations. so go wild and have fun, make whatever comes to mind literally. kudos to liquitex for making a fine product. like i've said though, just wish the tubes were bigger that's all, because you can run out paint fast after a few paintings.

Highly Recommended.

the bad: the tubes have a lot of air inside, so the content is half of what you expect...

I use paint in my mixed media art, so I dilute it a lot of the time. I love the variety of colors in this assortment of affordable colors. They are true to color and work perfectly for me.
