I just received the plate stand and it is not symmetric--one side is longer, so it does not stay up straight.

It looked as I was expecting, and was a good price, but the quality is not there. I could not count on this rickety plate stand to hold anything of value as I am sure it will tip complete over once there is weight on it.

I hope I can get a refund but I am not pleased with the quality of this product.

I ordered wooden plate holders, I got wooden plate holders. Not much to review. You stand them up, put your plates on them and voila. Good product for the price.

I bought this to display a fancy cutting board in my kitchen.

However, the stand wont stand up on its own.

And even when I put the cutting board on it, it still closes and then collapses.

I tried putting a cook book on the stand, with the same results -failure!

I wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this one.

I looked at a number of different wooden plate stand and this one is good for the value. It's not cheap and thin like some of the other available on the market. You pay for what you get.

The pencils themselves are perfect. They came undamaged and sharpened to a perfect not-too-sharp not-too-dull points within the case. If you're familiar with Prismacolors, you know what an advantage that is. Who hasn't blistered their hand or obliterated an electric sharpener trying to get a new set of Prismas ready for use?

The Polychromos are hard enough to use for detail but they still are soft enough to blend together easily, and I found you can build layers with these better than you could with say... Prismacolors (which I still love as well, but these have that advantage over them. Using the two in conjunction may be fun, though!) I'll continue to compare them to other colored pencils I use and that are pretty well-known. They're are a less waxy pencil than the Prismas (for obvious reasons the core ingredient in this is an oil and the core base of a Prisma is wax), yet they feel more 'waxy' (although oil based) than Derwent Coloursofts (which nearly mimic a pastel pencil, just slightly harder). They are more pigmented and glide better than Derwent Artist/Studios (also a wax-based pencil), while in use they feel like a super-version of Derwent Artists in how they perform despite having different bases, but the visual outcome is not the same (these, as I said are bolder). I am yet to experience any significant issue with blooming or loosing the tooth of paper underneath layers of the pencil. I do see these quickly becoming a favorite/staple and requiring an upgrade to a larger set in the near future.

Now, I can almost guarantee I'll get a thumbs down for this but I don't care. I know there's a seller feedback section but I feel it's important to include on the product review any issues with shipping damages etc. because 9/10 times, this is what people are looking at before buying a product. They're not weeding through seller reviews until they find shipping feedback on the product. That being said, I was not impressed with how the pencils arrived. They came in a thin bubble mailer with minimal protection. The case is.. wrecked and disfigured. It's dented and the hinges are broken. It doesn't open close properly which is a bummer because the storage is useless to me now. I can't put these in a bag and go away for a weekend because it'll bust open and the pencils will go everywhere. It also makes them hard to store in general since the metal is warped and putting anything on top of it (I stack pencil sets in a drawer) will slide off. So, this is a HUGE downfall to me but I've rated the product itself 5 stars as it deserves. Also, I've ordered from TCP Global Corp in the past with no problems, so this probably is just one unfortunate fluke. I just wish they'd better packaged a relatively expensive product that ALSO had a shipping cost.

I absolutely love the way these pencils handle. I use them in conjunction with Derwent Colorsoft & Nature Drawing Pencils and they are wonderful. I like the way you can layer upon layer, and still see previous colors underneath; really giving depth to my pieces.

I appreciate that the product arrived quickly and I suspect the pencils are wonderful. However, I'm very disappointed that the tin containing the pencils was crushed and bent. This set of pencils was intended to be a gift for someone so its sorry appearance is doubly disappointing. The shipping box was flimsy cardboard and was bent/crushed in half, crushing and bending the Faber-Castell tin. I am surprised that the box of pencils was loose inside the shipping box, with no bubble wrap or protection. I requested a replacement from the company; they said they had no more even though they are still selling them on Amazon. Next I asked for a refund, received shipping labels from the company and I did mail the product back even though the postmaster said he suspected the label was a fraud and the company would eventually claim they never received the return and therefore would not issue the refund. Today I filed a claim with Amazon. I've been patient but 6/7 weeks after the order I still have no resolution. Would not ever order from Buy4Less again and and surprised Amazon would want to do business like this.

These pencil crayons cost mor than the regular ones, but they are wonderful to use. The color lays down nicely with very good blending abilities. I bought them for my daughter and she loves using them. She loves the depth of the colours and how they blend. Also, the leads are over strong so I do not anticipate bromeliads when sharpening.

These pencils are very good quality... the color selection was a little disappointing... not enough brights, or pinks or reds. For a smallish set, I wanted more lively colors. I do like the brand and will get more of them...

Are you looking for pronged studs so that you can embellish your clothes yourself rather than paying an extra $20 to buy them that way like I was? Look no further. These will work! Here are a few things I noted while using them (so far I have "studded" a cotton tee shirt and a cardigan, so both pretty light materials):

-They are lightweight, which can be good or bad depending on what you are using them for. They worked just fine through a cotton tee shirt but they may not hold as well on blue jean type materials or something like vegan leather, so if that's what you are trying to use them on you may want to find something else.

-They were easy to apply using just my fingers. I'm too cheap to buy one of those stud-applicator things, so I just used my hands. I was poked a few times (the prong ends are SHARP, as they should be) but they are not challenging to use. Just make sure you bend the prongs all the way in once they are applied so they don't scrape you when you wear whatever you made! I'm sure if you had a stud applicator thing the process would be much easier and you may even be able to better get them through thicker materials.

-100 was definitely enough! After my two projects I have a lot left over which will be great for future projects.

All in all this is a good buy. They arrived quickly, appeared and worked as described, and served their purpose. If you're into saving some money, DIY, and being fashionable, for as many as you get this is much cheaper than paying extra for a studded item vs. a plain item at the store.

I have a lot of complicated ,'adult' coloring books. Stuff like dragons and Indian Mandalas. I needed a good set of colored pencils, that did not cost an arm and a leg, to enjoy coloring these pictures. I find it helps with stress and keeps my creative juices flowing. The pencils blend well so the colors you can make are endless. To blend you can use an eraser, your fingers, put one color right on top of the other, my cat got into one project just by rubbing her nose and paw on a color she really liked.

I will advise to put the pencils in the freezer for about 30 minutes before you sharpen them, just like you would an eyeliner. You get a much sharper tip when the 'lead'? is icy cold. The box and plastic tray they came fell apart right away. But that's not why we buy colored pencils. As long as the price stays the same, I will buy them again.

Came right on time. All the pencils were in one piece and nothing was broken. I love these pencils. The color is smooth and it blends well with all the other brands of pencils i already own. I love using these for when i draw and color.

They took 2 weeks to deliver it.

But truly great blades, neatly packed, cuts through paper like hot knife through butter, the spare blades come in safety plastic boxes (with some sort of lubricant in it, don't know why).

Instructions are not complete. The sequins keep coming off and then it is messy when you go back and fix them. The manufacturer supplies beads but no where in the instructions do they say to use the beads with sequins. I was almost finished with the stocking and the sequins started coming off. Made this for my granddaughter and now I can't give it to her. Very disappointed.

I have purchased and completed three of these Bucilla stockings in the past, with no problem. Now that we have a new baby on the way, it was time to make another one. I got this, and immediately noticed the beading needle was crushed in on one side, making threading it impossible. I contacted the company, and they sent a replacement needle. I got started today, and the thread is now snapping on me! I don't know if the quality of their stockings as a whole has gone down, or if it's just this particular pattern, but this is ridiculous.

I am enjoying these. They have a bit more grit/tooth than some of my other pastels but they are wonderful for the "in between" layers -over the underpainting and under the final stages with the super soft pastels. The colors are rich and luminous even in the darker shades.

Cheap Artistic Wire Worker

It's a very simple but useful tool that can make curls, wire beads and split rings by wrapping the wire around the mandrel. The instructions are not very well pictured nor do they have clear precise instructions on how to keep the wire on the mandrel or from over lapping each other. However you can find many video tutorials on how to use a wire coiler/ wire gizmo and the premise is pretty much the same.

I found that you can hold the wire in your free hand near the mandrel and use it to keep the tension as you use the other hand to turn. The reason for only the 3 stars is the plastic mandrels of different shapes don't release the wire wrapping when you're done. I couldn't slide my work off of it and it was stuck. I ended up unwrapping it after loosing it didn't work. The wire ended up kinked up and having been worked on too much, the color came off and became useless.

I did try some cheap kids craft wire that seems to be wrapped in plastic coating and with a little looser wrap, the work did come off the mandrel easier. However with it being looser, the coil was twisted a few degrees with each turn. I got the original coiling gizmo economy deluxe as well and that works like a charm. I am keeping this as it is more portable and has the oval and triangular shape i really wanted. I just wished that it was all metal mandrels and had better instructions.

Just what I needed to get myself and my daughter started in Chinese calligraphy. The practice paper with the grids help maintain proper proportions when writing small or medium sized characters. The brush works well for both me and my 7 year-old. The ink stick produces a good ink as far as I can tell and the ink stone does a good job of grinding and mixing the water and ink stick particles. I think this set is a good value.

Buy Clover Kanzashi Flower Maker Round Petal, Small

I've made these flowers before with fabric stitching and with hot glue. This is positively the easiest way I've ever done it. It uses a little more fabric than I use when making it without a template so unless you are using a stiffer fabric they don't come out as crisp as I'm used to. That being said I love being able to make the flowers while watching tv and the template folds so nice and easy.

It can be hard to cut around the edges but once you get the hang of it this is a great tool. We love it for making hair bows.
