I just finished this stocking in time for Christmas to give my new son in law. It is just beautiful finished and he was thrilled with it since all of my children have stockings that I have made for them. It is not for the novice to make, a fair amount of embroidery and directions aren't entirely clear.

I have made at least 12 of these type of stocking and I have NEVER had pieces missing. The directions are easy to read and the stockings turn out great

Instructions are not complete. The sequins keep coming off and then it is messy when you go back and fix them. The manufacturer supplies beads but no where in the instructions do they say to use the beads with sequins. I was almost finished with the stocking and the sequins started coming off. Made this for my granddaughter and now I can't give it to her. Very disappointed.

I have purchased and completed three of these Bucilla stockings in the past, with no problem. Now that we have a new baby on the way, it was time to make another one. I got this, and immediately noticed the beading needle was crushed in on one side, making threading it impossible. I contacted the company, and they sent a replacement needle. I got started today, and the thread is now snapping on me! I don't know if the quality of their stockings as a whole has gone down, or if it's just this particular pattern, but this is ridiculous.
