I have tried many brands of acrylic paints over the years. Recently, I have been using Golden acrylics for canvas, murals and detail work on wooden furniture. Then, I would have to buy an entirely separate set of Folk Art enamels for painting on glass and ceramics. Paints get expensive fast. So, when I read that Martha Stewart had introduced an acrylic paint that was supposed to adhere to any surface, I was skeptical yet intrigued. Especially, when I did the math and saw a bottle averaged out to less than a buck-fifty.

I bought all three sets of the Best Selling Colors series available on Amazon. I figured, worst case, I could use the paints during arts and crafts time with my kids. Being a firm supporter of the "seeing is believing" mentality, I set out to test the paint's limitations. So far, I have used these paints on canvas, ceramic bisque, wood, plastic and metal with great success. They are smooth and creamy, and the color selection is impressive.

I have only owned them for a week, so I cannot attest to the paint's longevity or UV and weather resistance. I painted a ceramic frog to put in my garden. I will update this review after it has endured the sweltering heat and humidity of a long Mississippi summer.

Great collection. Excellent paint for art or craft work. Only down side is that all colors are not exactly as represented, but close enough. Just wish it included a standard black and white. Great buy overall.

The product works the way it is supposed to, I guess. I even had the right kind of stencil. The problem is that the combination doesn't work the way it is supposed to. You can't connect the stencil to itself to make a long border and get it to connect in the right places. The pounce pad is so imprecise you don't know when you've succeeded in marking and when you haven't.

Three decades ago, when I made my first quilt, I made my own stencil and my own pounce out of talcum powder. This certainly is better and I expect the marking would last a lot longer than the talcum powder did, but still brush away when you no longer wanted it. So, as you can tell, I understand the system. But it just did not work for me.

I saw a video of how to use this product on Nancy's Notions website. She made it look so easy--just tamp the applicator in the tray that comes with it, rub it over the stencil and there is your sewing line all ready to be quilted. Unfortunately it didn't work that way for me. You have to tamp the pad a lot to get the powder to work its way though the pad and it did not come through evenly even though I tried to shake the powder around to make sure it covered the whole pad. Then after I swiped it over the stencil the line was not very distinct--it had a halo around the lines. The part that really bothered me though was that the line rubbed off before I had it quilted. Just with the movement necessary to move the piece around while stitching caused enough movement to rub the chalk marks off. I don't know if there is a way to make the powder stick to the fabric better. I would not buy this product again.

This set is one of the best out there! I cannot believe that more people have haven't reviewed this. The letters may be simple but that's their power. They stamp cleanly on anything including permanent ink on acrylic paint. This can be used for traditional stamping of cards, etc. But they also work for art journals and scrapbooking. They would also be great with kids because they are so simple. You really can't go wrong with this alphabet. Amazon sells the number set as well.

These letters provide good service in that they are not so prone to leave an edge (although you can manage it if you try) and are very crisp. I like the font and use these quite often.

My husband got the Grace Z44 for my birthday present this year. It was delivered on time. When we opened the box we realized that the wood is unfinished which is not a problem as we can stain or not stain as we wish. It took us five hours to assemble. Good thing the instructions that came with the frame were pretty clear. Assembly was kind of like eating an elephant,we did it one bite at a time and, we got the job done. Two of the metal poles were slighty bent at the ends but, Hubby was able to fix that. Once assembly was finished I added home made leader cloths to the poles. I now have a quilt in the frame and I didn't have to baste it. The frame gives me just the right amount of tension for easy quilting. I'm a very happy quilter! I would highly recommend the Grace Z44 to anyone that quilts by hand or even tacks their quilts, which I do on occasion and since this is a no baste frame it will be fast and easy to tack out a quilt. The box it came in was undamaged so I figure the bent poles came from the factory that way, there for I gave the product a review of 4 stars.

This is such a joy and ease with which to work.

I love being able to collapse the frame for quick, easy and out-of-sight storage when not quilting and then being able to quickly pull up and work again. The rolling fabrics makes quilting easy to perform.

I also appreciate the holes for inserting a light.

The 4 size options are an added bonus.

I was pleased at the quick delivery of this product. My husband and I had it stained in one afternoon, then he and our 10 year old nephew had it put together in under 2 hours the next day. The only problem we had was that 3 of the square connectors were cracked and one completely broken, but a call to the Grace company took care of that and within 5 days of my call I had the new parts delivered. This is my very favorite adhesive and the only one I will use. Temporary at first so removable, then permanent and holds very strongly. Expensive but worth the price.

These markers were purchased for marking handbell music which can have many notes in a chord. The superfine point lets me mark my notes without covering other notes on the plastic page protectors. They are easily erased when bell assignments are changed.

Jon Gnagy's TV show was the first show ever broadcast. I watched it as a child in the fifties. He taught art, real art, not painting a variation of the same thing over and over, in ten minutes. At five, I started looking at the book from my brother's kit and learned a lot from the self-explanatory illustrations. Without being able to read, it taught me such basics as perspective, shading and depth. Later, when I could read, I learned even more from it. After a career as an artist, which has spanned almost fifty years, I can honestly say he had more effect on me than any teacher I ever had. I highly recommend this for any upstart.

I started learning to draw with a Jon Gnaggy Learn To Draw Kit 60 years ago. I loved it so remember it well. I bought this and other kits like it, for my grand children. One granddaughter told me she "wants to be an artist" so I sent this kit to her after she was in the hospital, as a get well gift. I hear she likes it. Her mother said, "The package came, and I didn't see it after that. But she said she likes it." She later called me to thank me for it and said she really likes it. I asked what she is doing with it, and she said, "trying to learn to draw."

This stamp is not 1 x 1 x 1 inches. The block is 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches and the print itself is 2 x 2. Luckily, I had been looking for this particular stamp for awhile and so already knew its real dimensions. As for the stamp itself, I was a little concerned having heard mixed reviews about this line of stamps from Inkadinkado that are supposed to look like pencil drawings. I heard it's hard to get the detail to show up as the picture on the block, but figured I would check one out myself as I collect shell stamps and this one appears quite beautiful. Well, after testing it out about thirty times stamping some plain giftwrap, the mixed reviews are correct. Do not expect to see most of the fine pencil detail. They will appear more like continuous shadow on the darker side of the shell. Luckily, on a stamp of this size, it does not harm the overall effect too much as the giftee won't know there was supposed to be fine pencil detail there and the impression is otherwise clear.

I purchase and use a lot of Inkadinkado stamps -they're consistently high quality and the prices are quite reasonable compared to other brands.

I purchased this stamp to use for a special Christmas card for a friend who LOVES lighthouses. By careful coloring (I use Prismacolor pencils), this "beachy" scene can easily become a winter scene. I paired it with this little snowman stamp Inkadinkado Wood Stamp, Snowman -stamped and colored him separately, then fussy-cut him out and mounted him slightly to the right of the lighthouse using dimensional foam tabs so he looks like he's in the foreground. Turned out great! Just what I wanted.

I can also see using this for a lot of other cards, too -encouragement, sympathy, even "thinking of you." Quite versatile!

Very happy with this.

This stamp is very detailed and works wonderfully for adding watercolors after stamping it. If you are into stippling colors onto paper and then stamping over the dried image, this stamp will produce excellent images as well using that technique. make sure you use 80 lb paper for all projects for best results.

The last two Inkadinkado stamps I've purchased (the other one from a craft store) have had the actual rubber stamp glued onto the wood crooked so that when I stamp the image, it's not straight. I won't be buying stamps from Inkadinkado again.

Chalklets are better than stick pastels because they may be blended more easily with other chalkets. Use a craft pom-pom to apply the color. It's up to you how much color you want and it's buildable. I like blending the blues and pink tones to make a violet or purplish sky. Even a piece of Kleenex wrapped around your finger makes for a good applying and blending tool. Love these and hope they never stop making them.

These work well because they come out as easily as they go in. The knurl on the end of the included nail makes it very easy to give a few twists and pull it out. I returned this item. In the set I received, the stamp with the letter "Z" was larger than the letters on the rest of the stamps. The Z appears to be for a different size set. Another problem is; I bought this set because of the box it comes in, but was very disappointed. In the photo, the inside of the box looks very neat and the stamps are all standing straight, in nicely drilled holes (this is not how mine looked). The board with the holes for the stamps is about 1/4 of an inch thick, it is not attached and has too much clearance (about 1/8" or more) all around the edges. It fits very loosely in the box and the holes drilled for storing the stamps are irregular in shape, like they were drilled 2 or 3 times, slightly off each time. There also are no corresponding holes in the bottom of the box, so the stamps don't stand up straight. Since they don't stand up straight, they fall over and can drop into the bottom of the box when moved around. When they arrived, before opening the Amazon package, there was a lot of rattling inside it. After opening the package and taking the plastic wrap off the stamp set, I found all the stamps had fallen into the bottom of the wooden box. If the board with holes was thicker, or another wooden board with holes was glued in the bottom of the box, it could have corrected this problem. The box itself is OK enough, but the inside is lacking. Amazon has other 1.5mm, 36 piece stamp sets for a lot less. For me, this box is not worth the extra money.

As far as the letters being centered, they all seemed to be OK in that respect.

I was so very happy to receive my order sooner than I expected [via Fed Ex]! The metal stamp set arrived in perfect condition and the wooden box was sealed in its own plastic wrap -the same way it is stocked at my local bead stores. My daughter and I checked to make sure the set was complete; it sure was!

I like how Beadsmith marked the stamps so it is easy to tell which way to hold the punch to get the correct imprint. I also went ahead with my Sharpie pens and made my own marks on the tool for organization purposes. I've used these stamps before so I knew what to expect. The letters are TINY, but it's what I need for the first projects that I have lined up. I would recommends one or two sizes larger, 3mm or 4mm, for EASIER READING if that's what you have in mind for your projects.

Metal Stamping is a simple project, but it does take practice for adequate indentation. If you need extra tips, watch online video tutorials or read and follow illustrated online articles to learn metal stamping techniques.

These are pretty readable for their size when stamped. They are, however, very diffcult to line up straight due to the tiny size and the fact that they are sitting smack in the middle of a giant head. These would be better if the shank were smaller, more relative to the letter size. It took me a lot of practice and a lot of test copper to figure out how to stamp these with any semblance of consistency. I recomment sticking with something larger if you are in this price range, or splurge for a mega-expensive set an avoid all the headaches.

Awesome tints, i use it after applying the base coat and highlights, just a dash of paint with the airbrush will pop your colors even more, well worth the wait.
