This stamp is not 1 x 1 x 1 inches. The block is 2 1/4 x 2 1/4 inches and the print itself is 2 x 2. Luckily, I had been looking for this particular stamp for awhile and so already knew its real dimensions. As for the stamp itself, I was a little concerned having heard mixed reviews about this line of stamps from Inkadinkado that are supposed to look like pencil drawings. I heard it's hard to get the detail to show up as the picture on the block, but figured I would check one out myself as I collect shell stamps and this one appears quite beautiful. Well, after testing it out about thirty times stamping some plain giftwrap, the mixed reviews are correct. Do not expect to see most of the fine pencil detail. They will appear more like continuous shadow on the darker side of the shell. Luckily, on a stamp of this size, it does not harm the overall effect too much as the giftee won't know there was supposed to be fine pencil detail there and the impression is otherwise clear.

I purchase and use a lot of Inkadinkado stamps -they're consistently high quality and the prices are quite reasonable compared to other brands.

I purchased this stamp to use for a special Christmas card for a friend who LOVES lighthouses. By careful coloring (I use Prismacolor pencils), this "beachy" scene can easily become a winter scene. I paired it with this little snowman stamp Inkadinkado Wood Stamp, Snowman -stamped and colored him separately, then fussy-cut him out and mounted him slightly to the right of the lighthouse using dimensional foam tabs so he looks like he's in the foreground. Turned out great! Just what I wanted.

I can also see using this for a lot of other cards, too -encouragement, sympathy, even "thinking of you." Quite versatile!

Very happy with this.

If you are into stippling colors onto paper and then stamping over the dried image, this stamp will produce excellent images as well using that technique. make sure you use 80 lb paper for all projects for best results.

I am a writer and I write everything out longhand. Needless to say I am very fussy about my pens, and I have always loved the microns. The tip size is perfect for writing and I like the earthy colors in this package. The pens last a long time and give a beautiful line when I'm writing. My only complaints are the barrel size (too small) and the cap -it doesn't stay on the end of the pens very well and pops off every so often. Not a big deal though, and I will definitely re-purchase again and again!

This pack of "Earth/Heritage" colors is basic and understated. It works great for professional use. I'd also recommend it for diary writing, journals, illustration, detailed crafts, and lines written in scrapbooks/photo albums. Water won't alter this ink at all. This ink says to water, "You talking to me?" I recommend these pens to anyone keeping their writing for the long term. Made in Japan.

These pens are wonderful! The only reason I'm giving them a 4 instead of a 5 is because the .45mm sometimes show shadow marks on the flip side of paper. The thinner ones do not. I have never had them completely bleed though thin paper. They dry instantly, are permanent, and do not smudge. You can write with them and drop water on the paper and not have any bleeding.

If you're looking for a pen that feels good, like a ball point, these are not good. They do not glide and the ink feels heavier but they give hand writing a nicer look.

I bought these for tangles and doodles, and they're wonderful. Sakura pens are great quality, and these are no different. The "Heritage/Earth" colors of this group is very pretty (deep brown, true blue, a reddish-clay-brown, deep green, dark navy, and an almost spring green), and I would definitely recommend them. The ink is true to the color on the pen, and flows smoothly onto the paper. They're fine point for detail work, though they aren't the smallest fine point available. They're a good price, and the shipping was faster than expected.

I bought this box of oil pastels for my son, who loves art and coloring. Crayons and colored pencils are nice, but they don't have the same richness and blendability as pastels.

He was delighted to receive them, and has used them a dozen time in a month. These are top quality pastels not crumbly or dry. The colors range from soft to vivid, and the 36 colors in this box are plenty to choose from.

I recommend these for anyone who wants to buy good quality art products. The price was reasonable for the quality we received.

Never thought I'd give one star to this product. I do like Faber-Castell, I'm an artist and have many products of this brand.

This set was a total disappointment. If you ever had 'real' German Faber-Castell items you'll understand what I mean. It's made in Korea not in Germany. It smells bad, the package quality is poor, the pastel quality is poor... urgh

I know it's all about the price and it's a good value for this money... but when I buy Faber-Castell I expect the famous German quality.

Cheap Pearlescent Watercolor Paint Cakes 16/Pkg-Assorted Colors

These pearlescent paints were just what I wanted. I am new to using watercolors or any paint for that matter, but I bought myself some watercolors in tubes and some watercolor postcards I could work on. I had read other people's reviews of these colors where they said they dried so prettily, and so I had to have some too.

And they were not lying. If you take a fine tipped brush, like a rigger, and wet it, and then just add a drop of water to the color you want to work with, swirl your brush around in the color for a moment and load your brush, it'll slide on your paper effortlessly and you can make the most beautiful little swirls or dots or hearts or whatever it is you want. They dry incredibly shiny, shimmery, so beautifully. Definitely better than I expected.

Make sure you clean your brush completely between using each color--you are not a 2nd grader and don't want to get your colors messed up!! Keep that brush clean and this pan of colors will last you a long long time.

Beautiful outcome using these paints! When dried the colors are soft and pleasing to the eye. I used them over paint I had previously put down and let dry...this added pearlescent color is like the "icing on the cake". Highly recommend product.

Product contained all items in description. Set up was simple and the easel seems sturdy and easy to use. The bag is great because my daughter loves to take it with her to the grandparents, and everything (including her sketch pads) fit nicely into the bag.

The one thing I didn't like about it is that the drawer can be a little tricky to slide in and out becuase it tends to bind, but other than that it's a great product.

Years ago (45 or so) I did a lot of calligraphy, but in the interim, I have pursued new hobbies and let my cherished calligraphy pens languish unused. Who knew that the manufacturer of my pens would vanish, the internal parts would freeze up or rot out and I would have to go seeking new pens when a friend suggested I take a calligraphy course with her. I started out with a couple of inexpensive fountain pen styles, not wanting to carry my old Speedball dip pens and an ink bottle with me to class and not wanting to put a lot of money into returning to a hobby that my more mature hands might not enjoy (carpal tunnel). But it's no fun working with bad equipment. A local art supply store had the finer 1.1 Rotring pen and I found it to be a smooth writing, fun to use pen. Local pursuit of the wider nibs, however, proved fruitless and then I found this set on Amazon. I would have given them 5 stars, but I like to post the cover on the pen and I found it impossible with the Rotring pens. I'll get over it. The plastic box they come in has little grooves for each nib and cover and you can store the pen with its nib and cover on. I found there was space for a ruler and a 4H pencil for drawing lines under the plastic, so I can carry everything I need for class with me in the one case. The nibs are smooth writing, the ink is very black, but not waterproof, so I may look into a converter and bottled ink. Meantime I'm enjoying my calligraphy class and my carpal tunnel only acts up if I write too long; ice helps.

Used on calligraphy practice "Writer" paper and the ink flooded the paper emptying the cartridge in less then a paragraph. I have never had this happen even with Osmiroid or Sheaffer or any of the lesser quality calligraphy fountain pens, Pentel etc. I don't understand how this product receives positive reviews when it ruins your work so quickly and thoroughly.

I love everything about these except the oil pastels. They are too hard for my liking. They seem more like crayons rather than oil pastels. They are probably not the worst, but I definitely don't recommend them. I do really like the soft pastels. They're soft, bright, and blendable. Both sets come with a pencil, eraser, blending paper nub/stub, and a sharpener. The cases are good and will be useful long after the supplies are gone.

I ordered the other twin sets at the same time. Some people have mentioned they were missing parts. I was missing the oil pastels. I reported it to Amazon and they immediately fixed the problem. Despite the initial mixup, I was very pleased with the way it was handled.

I've been using OptiVisors for over 20 years, and I do remember when they were a quality product. The visor is secured to the adjustable head band by two plastic nuts on either side on the band. Unfortunately, one of those two nuts was defective and frequently fell out, causing the visor to slip down and hit my nose. I finally went to the local hardware store and found a couple of plastic pieces, which are now keeping it in place. The lenses, which are a very high quality, are held in place with plastic pins with a knob on the end.) The plastic didn't held the lens in place, so I did replace the plastic dowels with a couple of small nuts and bolts. Now the OptiVisor functions perfectly.

Do I recommend this product? Yes. The quality of the lens is superb. If you buy it and have the problems with it that I have, know you can get the fix-it parts at your local hardware store.

I purchased this magnifier on the advice of a forum member who, like me, works on vintage transistor radio repair. My background in much larger point to point wired vacuum tube radios is an entirely different visual landscape from a 50's vintage six transistor pocket radio. The entire circuit, the controls and individual components are really small.

This unit was instantly relevant. The unit is sturdy. The headband adjusts easily with the two knobs on each side. The lens clarity is excellent and the level of magnification and focal length ideal for what I need. The 10" focal length is important because I need to be able to see clearly while working on a circuit with tools. Any shorter and the front of the lens would interfere with the work at hand.

This US made unit is robust, comfortable, optically excellent and easy to use.
