I knew when I saw the spools that they were much smaller than the normal size spools I usually buy, but for some reason I was still shocked when I ran out of thread in the middle of piecing a wall quilt. The quilt is probably 2' by 3' and I'm about 3/4 of the way finished with the piecing. I'll have to either use another color out of the assortment or go out and buy the color I was using to finish it.

The assortment is great with just about every color you can imagine and the thread is really nice quality, but if you plan on doing more then very small projects, you'll need more than just one spool of thread.

This is a great product and great "bang for the buck"!! The colors are a wonderful assortment with gorgeous hues that pretty much cover the full color spectrum. The thread arrived quickly and neatly packaged. Would gladly recommend this product in the future; a super all-purpose sewing thread assortment for every day sewing needs.
