Liked color but texture wasn't as soft as I'd expected for a baby yarn. Same texture as regular yarn. I was a little disappointed. Probably won't use again as a choice for a baby blanket.

I purchased the Duckie color. It is a lovely light yellow and perfect for the baby's blanket I am making. Very soft and wonderful.

I do agree with the other reviewers that this is a very unique color; very pretty. However, I must have gotten a bad skein because mine was far from the softness you would expect in a baby yarn. I incorporated it into a baby blanket and ended up having to wash it before gifting due to it's stiff, scratchy texture. All-in-all, the blanket came out beautifully, just wish I didn't have to take the extra step.

I can't say how much I like using Lion Brand Yarn 840-102A Vanna's Choice Baby Yarn, Aqua. It just has the right weight. And the right texture too. I mean, this yarn is soft without being flimsy--which sometimes is a hard thing to pull off. Though this yarn just manages to shine through like the winner that it is.

I also think that it helps the brand that Vanna White's name's on it, seeing that she is a long time crocheter, so she's going to know what works and what really doesn't in terms of using a good yarn over a bad one.

I'm currently making a baby blanket in the colors aqua and sweet pea. (The sweet pea is a really nice color--don't think you ever see this color when making things for babies--I'm thinking colors like mint green or maybe even a teal.) So the 'sweet pea' is a really nice change.

Hope Lion Brand will continue their GREAT work!!!
