World Pride 24 Assorted Multi-colour Spools Polyester Sewing Threads Review

I purchased this set of polyester sewing threads several months ago in order to have a diverse combination of colors to match my sewing projects with. I'm pleased to report that I regularly use these threads with my Brother sewing machine, and so far have had very few issues.

Pros:

Good variety: I've altered/sewed several different cotton clothes and have been very pleased with the assortmentso far, I've been able to find a thread color to match every project I've tried!

Generous amount on each spoolThere's also enough thread on each spool to get through a few big projects, which means that you're not stuck with a starter color and then have to finish off in another one.

Cons:

The only reason why I take one star off is because the thread is (to be expected for the price) not the same quality as more expensive thread which you can get. However, I haven't had any issues with the thread breaking, but you will notice that it tends to fray and not hold together quite as well as a top quality thread.

-A few "huh?" colors: bright orange? hot pink? 3 shades of brown? I appreciate the variety of 24 colors and have found a good use for the less commonly used colors (basting and tailor tacks), but would have appreciated having a smaller range of colors in order to get more duplicates of standard and commonly used colors.

Overall, a great deal for the price! I would recommend it.

I've made a coat, a hat, an apron, a Kindle Fire case, a sewing machine cover, and working on another project using this pack of thread. I'm having sooo much fun I'm looking for things to make. I'm even doing embroidery designs with these beautiful colors. I loved this price too. I checked for a pack of threads like this at other sites and amazon was the cheapest.

A very good price and wide variety.

Now that I have used almost all the spools

I have to admit that this is stronger than I

first thought.

I have had a few breaks but for the most part

this is working quite well in my Singer Quantum

Stylist.

I recently used it to hem denim jeans. The machine

with this thread went right through the turned up

leg seams with no problems. That would be 8 layers

of denim.

this package has many beautiful colors. they are really helpful for people who have different color fabrics to sew. I'd buy more in the future from this company.
