I bought this as a gift for my artistically inclined friend. She says it is a great airbrush. The add is misleading though. It says it comes with a how to video but it never came with the Airbrush Compressor so it gets a 4 rather than a 5

First airbrush I've really played with, discounting an aeresol based one when I was a kid. So far it seems well suited to a beginner. I've found some pain points, like the brush clogging easily and not maintaining the steadiest flow but part of that is me learning to mix paint. The larger brush seems to be much happier with the lid on, which makes sense as that would affect air pressure in the pot.WARNING: The compressor does get very hot with sustained use, mine just shutdown after letting it sit it's fine but I will try to keep the duration of painting lower and take more breaks (was painting a few models to save on cleaning between paint colors, was painting for the best part of 45min to 1hr.) Otherwise great starting kit at the very least, I have no idea how it compares to more expensive air brushes but I have a feeling it will be quite some time before I would see any need for an upgrade.
