I bought this for my wife and she loves it! she can paint with it on a table or have it standing up. It is easy to set up and so far seams durable. for the price it is very cheap compared to what is out there, and the quality so far seems great.

I bought this easel for my granddaughter although after seeing the actual product, I would buy one for myself. You can't beat this in terms of price and quality. To begin, this floor easel comes in a surprisingly compact box. (Easy to fold up and carry.) The first thing you notice on opening the box is the delicious smell of polished wood. Set up is easy. It will hold a medium to large canvas tightly. The storage drawer has plenty of room for supplies and the included pallet. My granddaughter was thrilled to receive to receive the Pro Art French Box Easel. The product is inexpensive compared to others on the market but it is well made. One criticism: I'm not sure how stable the legs will be outdoors since the fasteners don't tighten well and tend to slip.

Although this is a top rated easel, this is the second one that we purchased in a week, as one it was set up , and left alone ,,, we heard a noise, we went to investigate and one of the pieces, ( that came attached from the factory had "popped off, ( this was the clip that held the box together...

We called Amazon and they refunded us our money and sent us a new one.

My husband set it up and that night when we were in our bed room, we heard the same "popping and crashing sound, it happened again.

This time my husband just fixed it and did not want to go thru the hassle of boxing it and shipping it back, he will use a strap to close the box , when he will be traveling with it out of the house. It would be awful if ti opened with all of his supplies in it!
