While this product does appear to be fun, it is quite small. It will work well for my petite 4 year old niece, it may be too small for an older girl. The packaging is very durable (as are all Melissa & Doug products) and it seems like it will be fun for her to decorate. I would give it better reviews if it was a little larger. Also, it appears to be made of some kind of porcelain or something so that may be an issue for rougher play. However, I still think it is a decent buy.

Bought this for a girl in my swapper group and she absolutely loves it and could ask for no better one. It was way worth it too. Nice price, and perfect for your hands. got there quick , on time quicker than i thought . nicely detailed pieces in the kit.

I bought this for a four year girl for her birthday. She really loves it. She was able to make a personalized purse all on her own that she can carry everywhere with her. Her mom said that she really enjoyed creating the purse and that she takes it everywhere with her. Overall I think this is a great product that allows little girls to use their creativity and imagination. Would definitely recommend this product.
