These are really nice needles, but unfortunately they're not American sizes so they're not what I need. Now that I'm writing the review I can see that they're 2.25mm, but when I originally ordered them I couldn't find the size in mm anywhere, so I assumed they were 9mm.
I'll still get plenty of use out of them so I'll keep them, but the product page really should note that these aren't American sizes.
Now for the needles. The tips are nice and sharp, but not so sharp that I'm drawing blood when I poke myself. I've only ever used circular needles with a nylon cord, so this metal cable (that seems to have a really thin coating of some sort to make it smoother) is a major upgrade. I've been knitting a hat out of sock yarn and the yarn slides so much better on it than the nylon cable on my other needles. The yarn needle and little gauge thing are nice to have.
