I really wanted these dies, and LOVE Spellbinders and AMAZON! however, I am returning these unopened. After I received them, I got to really look at them close up, and they are very small. They are ok for a card front, however, they appeared to have roses around the edges, and larger lacey openings, in the description on the Amazon page there wasn't anything to tell me otherwise and you cannot truly see the detail until these are in your hands. I waited for these dies to become available in order to get them from Amazon, I was just really dissaspointed when I saw them in person, no roses, and the detail is so fine it most likely will not show up pronounced, even with an Embossing mat. I also wish they were larger, as they appear in the picture, the actual open area to add your embellishments and sentiments is very small. I still love my original Spellbinders dies, the card maker dies, the Nestabilities, just not in love with these.

I just got these the other day and I love them. The detail is incredible. I had no trouble getting them out of the die, as the other reviewer said they did, so I'm not sure why there was a problem for her. I did spritz the paper with water as the Spellbinders video suggested. I just used inexpensive index cardstock, as I do for all new dies, to make a sample. I am very impressed with the quality of die cut they make.

After watching the video on the Spellbinders website, I couldn't wait to buy these die. I also bought the magnetic pads and 65 lb paper, as recommended by Spellbinders. Like the first reviewer, I thought there was a lot of detail and cut-outs all around each shape. But there are not. The cut-outs are tiny, there's no embossing and the paper is impossible to get out of the die without tearing. I did as Spellbinders suggested and passed the sandwich through my machine 2-3 times. I even used waxed paper the first time to"condition" the die to release the paper. The results were unimpressive--just "blah" and tacky. Regular Spellbinders die are much better. Don't waste your money on the Imperial Gold line of die.

I love this nestabilitie. it makes a beautiful card. The trick is to place a sheet of wax paper on the paper when you cut it out. It doesn't stick and cuts easily.
