Beautifully well made french chalk pastels, work marvelously, high pigment value, little chalk filler, some colors are brighter than others, some colors are darker. Beautifully smooth.Easy to blend. Light yellows are nice for sunlit highlights. On a scale of 1 10, with Ludwig a 1 at the softest an Nu Pastels, 10, at the hardest...I would rate these a 3. Love them!
