I was very,very please with the quality of this product I am so glad I bought it and very glad of the price from amazon I use all of these tools and I started using brads because I had the tool in this kit, I had never used brads before but this made it very easy to use the brads the mat is just wonderful thanks amazon -

Picked this up because I'm just starting in scrap booking and it was filled with lots of nifty tools and the price was decent. Unfortunately the tweezers have no grip. First time I picked up a piece of paper with them the paper fell right out, they don't close tight at all. The brand new blade on the craft knife barely cut through paper at all. The self healing mat is OK, but there's better mats out there.

LOVE the BRAD SETTER... which prompted my purchase of the KIT... I immediately checked it out and I WILL be playing with more Brads because of it. Mat & Magnetic Ruler are a compact handy size (especially for those who travel to Crops, etc.) for card making and/or smaller size scrapbook elements but the magnet attached to the full length of the Ruler makes it heavy to use alone. The "Precision" Scissors with bent in tips functioned poorly with crooked straight cuts... the Tweezers are worthless. Handle configuration is odd... Difficult to easily put caps back on the tools. Haven't cut with knife yet but like that it's pink of course. So... My Conclusion: opted to keep the full set and tell myself that it didn't come with scissors & tweezers that I will likely throw away because it frustrates me that they're junk... Hindsight: I should have just ordered the Brad Setter separately since I don't need the small Mat / Ruler combo as I also purchased of the LARGE 18x20 Magnetic Mat / Ruler Set. Hope this helps someone!
