The templates are very durable and versatile. I admit that I still love making the old fashion quilts. I appreciate the "modern quilt-making" however, I feel that it is important to keep these old patterns alive to preserve their history.

The only improvement I would make with this product would be to include just a small booklet for us novice quilters that show how all the pieces would go together to make the pattern. You know, just what order to sew the pieces and whatnot. ;) Other than that is is fantastic!

I was excited about this bc the templates will make so many different patterns. BUT for a beginner there is NO instruction.. Only the plastic templates (thin). So I am pleased but its going to be hard for me with out any instruction. ~ shobanlady
