I have a Cuttlebug machine and have just received this set. So far, I have made gift packs of cards with both a single initial and 3 initials. Very easy to use and very versatile. You can set the letters in any location on your card stock or paper to make lovely cards or embellishments. You can also run a larger piece of card stock or paper through your machine with the All-In-One Folder that the letters fit into. Worth every penny and I have only just begun.

This is a great way to emboss monograms onto paper. I love the flexibility of this product, with the all in one folder, you can put these letters anywhere on your paper. These are too big to make words, unless you want them to be hi and really big.

Cuttlebug is fun... And the page on Amazon says that you need the All-in-One folder. But the packaging that these embossing plates come with doesn't mention that; and trying to use them without it will break the plates. How hard would it be to add a line that says "Use with the All-in-one folder?"

I really love the embossing letters but if I want to emboss them in a small piece of paper it wrinkles the sides. I hope someone knows how to avoid it and share it me.

Although this is a Cuttlebug product, I purchased this and the required All in One 6 by 9 inch folder in hopes that it would work with my Sizzix Big Shot machine. I can happily say it works great. I love being able to put a nice embossed letter (or the bee, shell or flower) anywhere I want it on a card.

To use it, simply choose your letter plate, which has two parts; positive and negative, position it in the Folder where you want it, position your card or paper and then create your Sizzix 'sandwich'-a cutting pad, the Folder/letterplate/card, top with another cutting pad and roll it through the Sizzix. Voila, embossed monogram!

Sometimes the cardstock crinkles around the letter a little, but I've found that it flattens out easily with a little rubbing. You could also use a couple of the foam pieces that come with a Movers and Shapers die to keep the crinkle from happening in the first place I would imagine.

If you own a Sizzix and were wondering if this would work with it...wonder no longer. Just be sure to purchase the All in One 6 by 9 inch folder as well.
