These grommet setting pliers are utterly useless. The hole punching die included in the 3/8" kit only punches a 1/4" hole. In tough fabric, like canvas, there is no way the included grommets will go through the hole produced by these pliers. After three unsuccessful attempts at contacting the company that produced them (Dritz) I finally gave up and threw them in the garbage.

Unfortunately, these pliers broke after only putting in 20 grommets. They cracked from all the tension you need to put on them to make the grommets secure. NOT WORTH BUYING!

These are the worst set of grommet pliers ever. Seriously I purchased four of the kits because I read that they don't last very long and they only work well with the grommets included. For $10 you expect them to at least do the basic job they are intended to do. No. These are the epitome of "made in china" junk junk junk. Lots of good stuff is made in China so don't get me wrong but these are not one of those good things!

The punch is dull, the metal is flimsy so if you are somewhat strong you will bend the handles, they will break. Avoid.

Just purchased these pliers, can't find them anywhere else in local stores, and stuff to find pliers that do 3/8" grommets (standard size). All the other pliers suck because they only do 1/8" max! You can't even fit standard size straps between that. Get the job done fast, easily, and efficiently, I recommend this to everyone that needs Grommets placed into anything!
