Unless you have been sewing for a while, you probably not familiar with some of these feet. In fact, that is probably why you are buying this item to increase your sewing options. As other reviewers stated, there are not instructions with the feet or anything to identify which foot is which. I figured I would identify them for others so that they could save themselves a little bit of time. It is actually quite easy if you match up the picture to their description.

Top Row (1) is 3 Hole Button Foot, Top Row (2) is Low Shank Snap-On Ankle, Top Row (3) Blind Hem Foot, Top Row (4) is Button Hole Foot, Top Row (5) is Seam Guide.

Bottom Row (1) is Zig-Zag Foot, Bottom Row (2) is Straight Stitch Presser Foot, Bottom Row (3) is Over Edge Foot, Bottom Row (4) is Zipper Foot, Bottom Row (5) is Rolled Hem Foot, Bottom Row (6) is Button Sewing Foot.

Anyway, hope this helps. Overall, the quality appears to be fairly decent, time will tell.

Admittedly I already had all but one of the pieces in this set in the old low shank screw on version but I since I sew professionally I have more than one machine set up and no duplicate snap on feet-meaning that I had to either revert to the old style foot, or sometimes swap a foot back and forth between machines.

I can't honestly give it a five star review because one foot, the three hole cording foot, is misaligned-it still works, but not perfectly-so if you're out for that particular foot, it's probably better to buy a nice one singly. Honestly, I would have given this set a five star review if they'd left out that foot and made it a ten piece set for the same price. Everything else is flawless and the quality is remarkably nice considering the low cost.

I ordered this as an impulse buy and I'm REALLY glad that I did. The day before this arrived I dropped my button foot on the floor and ran over and broke it with my chair. The one included in this set is identical to the one that came with my Brother SE400 except that it is not marked with an "M" (no worries). The "Over the Edge" or "Overcast" foot is also identical as what came from Brother -except it is not marked with a "G" (again, no worries). All the feet seem quality I've used all but the seam guide and the low shank ankle adapter. All have worked great. My 3 Cord foot (I've been wanting one) is not misaligned as one reviewer stated theirs was. The button hole attachment is manual I guess. I like the "Blind Hem" foot included with this set better as it is adjustable in width. The Blind Hem foot included with my machine is not adjustable. I also liked the Rolled Hem foot. I've been wanting to try one. So, yes...I am very PLEASED with this set. The shipping was very fast. This shipped directly from the seller on the same day that I ordered and I received it 3 days later. Funny, considering that Amazon has still not shipped the rest of my order 5 days later. LOL

I don't understand the complaining about no directions etc. It's not very hard to Google and match up the feet to what is included. And as to directions to how to use the feet try You Tube or your machine book. It's just not a big deal. The two feet that I have bought directly from Brother DID NOT include directions on how to use them. With shipping this entire set was less than $10 so even if you just need one foot I don't see how you can go wrong.

Great value for the money. These are quality feet. My mother-in-law moved and the box with her feet for her machine were lost. She had quit sewing as she only had the zipper foot so this will be a nice surprise for her. These are the basic feet for most sewers.

I'm happy with the different pieces, got them at a nice price but if you're going to include a Low Shank Snap-On Ankle and a seam guide the ankle should be able to accept the seam guide. There should also be an information sheet with a photograph and the pieces clearly identified by name.
