I have been using these for a while now and love them. They are not, however, really watercolors because once they dry, they are waterproof/permanent. I see this as a big plus I sketch with the pen then apply washes. Highly recommended if this is your need.

Wanted to extend my watercolor repertoire. Careful when you "prime" the pen, if squeezed too hard, too much and/or possible splatter your work.

The effects are like watercolors but you can control better becausecits on a "pencil" liked the colors, very bright. I recomend.

I took these on an airplane trip and they leaked very badly. I had them in the pressurized cabin with me--also had fineline Sharpies and a Pentel brush pen. Only these leaked.
