I bought these for a rosemaling class. I thought they were good brushes because of the brand. Since rosemaling is so exact, these brushed were ok and good for a beginner, but not for an experienced painter. The instructor said that these are Loew and Cornell's run-of-the-mill brushes even though he uses Loew and Cornell, just not this series.

I had heard these are good and It is just what I needed to make the lines for my butterflies and tigers etc. It can go thick or think and holds the paint really nice and the handles don't get stained like some of my other brushes! Not disappointed at all.

I first found the Loew-Cornell Soft Comfort series at JoAnn's. I fell in love with how they felt while holding the brush. The handles are thick and comfy to hold so your hand doesn't cramp up easily. I'm investing on an entire set to add to my arsenal of painting supplies, you should to! The brush head itself is soft (like a make-up brush)not stiff. Great for watercolor painting.
