The pastels arrived in great shape. I only wish I had ordered the set of 30.

I'm just learning how to use pastels. So far I have not been able to get some of the shades I'd like.

I purchased these pastels for University. They got me through a few tough assignments and have a very nice feel. The red is still horrible to use, it leaves hard shiny streaks if used improperly and got very annoying. I forced myself to use it as the main element of one drawing. Every other color though was rich and silky, If you're in the market this was a great deal for some fine pastels!

Very nice set of colors, got the job done nicely. My niece used them to give her hair highlights (google how to).
