I bought the Gutermann thread #410 (scarlet) to sew on my children's patches. It's a nice strong thread that holds well. I especially like the unique spool that makes it so quick and easy to hold the thread in place after I'm done -just wind, no searching for that little nick.
On my computer screen, scarlet looks a little on the orange side. In person, there is no trace of orange. It is red as can be.

Gray thread is best for sewing grey things, 2 spellings of grey, fahgetaboudit. Sew it with needles. Some sewing would be a good idea.Best Deals for Gutermann Sew-All Thread (547 Yards) - In your choice of color
This is a nice darker grey thread for your sewing projects.I used mine to do quite a bit of decorative and utility stitching on some cat beds, and it stitched up well. No snags or frays, cut cleanly and easily and was able to stitch up practically from tail to tail off the spool.
