i've never used eyelets before, and while i can't say they came out in a straight line i can at least say they are sturdy and won't come apart.
i use them in flat weave paracord dog collars and the 1/4" size was a perfect size.
when i used them i squeezed them together with my fingers, then inserted the included tool and smashed them with a hammer.
i don't think one should use a heavy hammer because it flattened out the "right" side.
ah well. live and learn i guess.
overall, a great product if you need sturdy eyelets.

I read & re-read the instructions on exactly how to use the INCLUDED TOOL used to fasten these eyelets. I thought it sounded pretty simple and straight-forward. I didn't tap the tool too hard but firmly enough (I thought) to set the eyelet in place. I thought they looked good. Then I picked up the fabric and the eyelets fell back out. Trying it again, after re-read the instructions AGAIN, had the same results. Overall, it was a good waste of money!
