The Heishi or Heishe beads made Tibetan or Bali style are my favorite kind of bead. This review is coming off of my second order. These are slightly patterned and add interest. They could be used as a bead on their own or as spacers with other beads. They passed my plating 'scratch test' so should stand up to ordinary jewelry wearing use.
THIS IS THE SCRATCH TEST: take one bead and rub it with a kitchen scrubby pad to see how long it takes for the plating to come off; if it comes off right away, not good.
